Description
Kenzo launches a new collection of fragrances named Kenzo Couleur in spring 2013. The collection is first presented with two fragrances: Couleur Kenzo Rose-Pink and Couleur Kenzo Jaune-Yellow.
Couleur Kenzo Jaune-Yellow, signed by Jean Jacques, is a sunny floral fragrance. Citrus notes of bergamot and lemon at the top represent the Mediterranean and merge with the sunny heart of jasmine and orange blossoms. All this is wrapped in a veil of warm vanilla and musk.
The bottles are decorated with the letter K and the boxes show the legendary flower that was designed by Serge Mansau in 1982. The fragrances are available as 50 ml Eau de Parfum.
Couleur Kenzo Jaune-Yellow was launched in 2012.

I bought this after reading the reviews here. I love Kenzo in general and I collect perfumes so had to have this one too as I read it has a good longevity.
I found it for £34 on Amazon, a 50ml bottle and thought it is a good price so got it and received it today.
He smells very lemony but not the fresh kind of lemon, but the sugary lemon tea or lemon cake kind of lemon. After a few minutes the lemon dries down and all i can smell is sweet jasmine, very similar to my Yves Rocher Neroli perfume. I do not dislike it but also there is nothing sophisticated about this scent.

I usually don’t like citrusy fragrances but as weather gets warmer I start to try all citrusy perfumes unconsciously so that I may find a citrus perfume which I can get along with or even love,well I believe there are high hopes for this little beauty
Yes it starts definitely citrusy,can’t say specifically lemony because a combination of lemon and bergamot looks like a mixed,generic citrus note on me.it’s fresh and zesty as it’s expected but very soon florals kick in and while remaining light and fresh,it turns to a lovely bright feminine scent(most citrus fragrances seem unisex to my nose rather than feminine,but this is definitely feminine)orange blossom appears airy,clean and very pretty.as time passes it becomes more creamy thanks to it’s soft vanilla note which rounds citrus-white floral combo so it doesn’t remain sharp,zesty or cold
Another good point is it’s quite longlasting which happens rarely for such summary perfumes
Unfortunately it’s really expensive here.I like it but I’m not sure I want to pay 60$ for a 50mil bottle of it!but if I find it with a fair price I won’t hesitate taking home this beautiful sunny perfume

شروع کاملا مرکباتی داره البته برای من مطلقاً لیمویی نیست.مثل یه ترکیب کلی مرکباتی هست اما خیلی زود گلها اضافه میشن و رایحه لطیف و زیبا و.زنانه ای بهش میدن.شکوفه پرتقال که خیلی زیبا ظاهر شده مانع از این میشه که مثل خیلی از عطرهای مرکباتی دیگه یونیسکس بنظر بیاد.به لطف وانیل لایت و سبکی ک داره،تمام تیزی هایی این رایحه مرکباتی-گلی گرفته میشه و حالت خامه ای و لطیف،درعین حال فرش و تمیز به خودش میگیره
این عطر آفتابی از معدود عطرهای مرکباتی هست که به دلم نشست و نکته مثبت دیگه ش اینه ک ماندگاری خوبی داره که تو عطرهای خنک و تابستونی زیاد دیده نمیشه
متاسفانه اینجا خیلی گرونتر از قیمت واقعیش قیمت گذاری شده و اگه با قیمت جهانیش ک زیر صدوپنجاه تومنه پیداش کنم قطعا میگیرمش اما الان…خب فک نکنم

Wow! I love Kenzo Yellow. Somehow my mind wispers – Summer by Kenzo, not a clone, but an airy wiff of Summer by Kenzo. Lasts for many, many hours on my skin and this is one of very few scent with citrusnotes that turns out to be wow on my skin. I love the citrus,orange blossom, Jasmin and Musk-mix. A blind-buy, a treasure!
Wow! Jag älskar Kenzo Yellow. På nåt sätt viskar min hjärna – Summer by Kenzo, inte en kopia av den men en luftig aura av den. Otroligt hållbar och detta är en av väldigt få dofter med citrus som jag kan ha och som blir wow på min hud. Älskar citrus,apelsinbloms, Jasmin och musk-mixen. Ett blind-köp, ett kap!

I got it and feel a bit disappointed. I wanted it to be more lemony and yellow but on me it develops into something very orange.

I just ended my affair with Kenzo Yellow, and… I know that I will miss it. However our relationship was not easy. We met at Tenerife one year ago. A few lunch meetings when I tried to figure out if it is going to be something between us. Sun and vacation mood made me think that I can give a chance. Then back to Norway. Cold, rainy… My sunny lover seemed to not finding himself in a new reality. We took a break for some months. Then suddenly this summer I decided to give it another chance. I got some compliments… In my memories I went back to sunny Tenerife. I liked how everything changes when he is around me. All nyanses… Citrus and sweet. Hm… I really liked it. I got attached. And then I realised that it is soon over and this time it is not me who decide. I will miss it… I can sadly admit now, that i did´t appreciate this relationship one year ago. I wonder if he mind to try again.

This is very sunny and friendly fragrance, especially for spring and summer, but goes very well every day every season; office-safe. I love this scent – it’s so elegant and female, alluring, safe like the love of mother! Citrus is not sharp or cool here, maybe it’s the vanilla note which gives it kind of softness and warmth.
I’m very happy to own this. Highly recommend!

Very fresh citrusy flagrance great for spring and summer days. Citrus note is rather strong in this flagrance. But it marries well with orange blossom and reveals a pleasant freshness. It is not sweet at all. Charming flagrance!

Orange blossom note is perfect in it! Nothing sharp or offensive about it. It’s fresh and lovely citrusy floral fragrance! A great composition of lemon and orange blossom.
A little sour, very interesting smelling fragrance.
Beautiful summer/spring scent.

Por sus notas, pensé que iba a ser de mi gusto, pero resulto ser para mi muy muy dulce, muy penetrante, yo huelo limón con naranja y algo de vainilla, y me recordó a algún caramelo que llegue a comer en mi niñez; a una medicina en forma de jarabe.
Como perfume no me gusto, lo sentí sintético.
Su duración ha de ser buena, que me lo puse en la tarde temprano y en la noche tuve que lavarme para quitármelo.

This is definitely not cheap, this smells really nice,different, it starts off citrusy but gets creamy real fast, and in the end it smells real sunny. Without ever being sharp, or too lemony. I am not fan of citrus scents, but Yellow I would buy, the vanilla gives it a certain sweetness, it is adorable in a way yes. Not greatly complex, but a pretty veil of a scent.

Pleasant light citrus and jasmine. A generic scent that smells cheap, and would probably suit a young girl rather than a woman.

Very unusual and sunny fragrance.
It is very lemony in the very beginning, but just several minutes later it leaves only freshness on skin and reminds of a glass of cold lemonade.
Fruity and adorable!
