It’s a strange mixture ..not liking it so far on first spray

I was taken by its’ name, I admit. Luckily, I’m testing it from a gifted generous sample instead of a blind-bought full bottle 😛
In short, it smells very “white”, pleasant and quite harmless. A bit of every note mentioned, blended beyond recognition to smoothest, white, gentle “crema”. With strawberry on top.
    Perfect white and cozy skinscent.
    Nice and kind of meh.

“Corpi Caldi” got me so many compliments while I was wearing it that I couldn’t believe it, because for me – “Corpi Caldi” is not as beautiful as it appear to people around me.
The thing here is that it’s a bit too much, I appreciated the overwhelming sweetness and mix with the powdery notes, but there was something truly bothering me – the freshness. The strawberry and mint are very prominent on my skin, I think that in this already huge mix of notes and tones, the fresh ones shouldn’t appear. It simply felt wrong to me, out of tune, like I’ve applied another perfume on top of “Corpi Caldi”. The bad part is that this freshness lingers for the most part of it’s longevity (which is excellent by the way), so I couldn’t get past it.
Too much is too much. Unique, interesting, very rich and with very good quality, but…I wouldn’t wear it despite the compliments it got me – it would simply swallow me whole, it’s like you’ve put on 5 different perfumes, it might work for some, but it weird-ed me out.

It’s my first review, sorry, if this helps:
Today In an Italian Artisan Profumeria, while walking through the cosy streets of a provincial Italian town, I have purchased a FB of Torre CC, and I don’t regret it at all. This place was full of everything a perfume addict could dream of – seriously I have never seen such a variety of artisan scents from East and West, you name it…. The number of glittering bottles in this place exceeded all my expectations, any department store would not dream of. It was impossible to try even a 100th part of what I would love to try here, so I just asked the Lady owner to recommend to me the best of everything she stores- something typically Italian and something no one else would have in London:-) . Guess What, her first choice was Torre CC, and the secondVesilia Aurum Profumi del Forte.
I tried both – and Aurum seemed classy but lighter and more citrusy, I have quite a large high end collection of fragrances, and this one would not really be unique. However, Torre CC warmed up immediately on my wrist and developed in something oriental – I would say kind of Indian sandal wood insence concoction but without the opulent heaviness of an oriental perfume.
    Overall my impressions:
Amazing rich opulent and soft fragrance with amazing silage and longevity. It opens very soft though, despite such a complex basket of fruit notes, and in about an hour melts into a sexy warm oriental fragrance – very we’ll rounded. Somehow, i smelled sandal wood all along, may be it’s just me. This is a rich sweet but with a distinctive Italian twist, very charming and sophisticated. My husband really loved it, said it’s the sexiest out of all the perfumes he smelled on me. But once again, he is Italian 🙂 it’s not an ordinary frag, although I cant say that I haven’t come across ismilar compositions. It could be more attributable to the trends of mid 90’s, you won’t find sharp oud, or bold citrus/bergamot, neither incense … However, altogether Torre caldi corpi, is a very warm, classy, sexy, not a heavy, inviting sent…..
