There is absolutely no way that Coriandre could be described as a gourmand – but it has the curious ability to make my mouth water.
A classic chypre, there is nothing sweet – or 21st century – about Coriandre. On first spraying, I recoiled from it; there’s a very harsh opening and a powerful hit of roses (rarely an easy note for me). Fortunately I waited for the drydown, rather than acting on my initial impulse to scrub it off.
My Coriandre is in a splash bottle. I am not a fan of these and have decanted some into an atomiser, which I think improves sillage; despite this, I’d describe it as being within arms-length. Longevity is also moderate on me (but I have dry skin).
I’m not very good at picking out individual notes, but my inability on this occasion is, I think, because Coriandre is very well-blended.
It dries down to a sheer, bone-dry, slightly powdery, herbal scent – and is easily unisex by today’s standards. It’s a very mild early autumn day here and I think Coriandre is perfectly suited to the weather. Although it is slightly powdery, I don’t think it would be stifling even at warmer temperatures, because of its dry herbal composition.
Coriandre is a bargain for any lovers of true chypres and is definitely worth buying – even if you don’t like it, you won’t have lost a lot of money.

Green coriander rose, herbal but sheer.
There’s a seaside beach town with a jumbled up shop, chock-a-block with crystals, wind chimes, a wooden bowl of rose potpourri, National Geographics stuffed in an ornate dresser, and fresh packs of tarot cards. The scent of rose hips and beach grass blows in from the sand dunes. Sometimes the grandmother is behind the counter, a witchy woman with long brown hair with a single wide silver streak. At other times it’s her granddaughter—more like her double—the resemblance is uncanny.
Coriandre flickers between the maiden and the crone. Which is to say it’s definitely bohemian, and dated if you squint. I’ll still wear it though.

Very ‘old lady’ in the opening (lots of powdery rose), but dries down to a nicer, more ambiguous scent. Still not for younger women tho: very mature.

I was browsing Target’s website for fragrances and came across Coriandre. This hadn’t been on my radar so I looked it up on Fragrantica. I immediately purchased it when I saw it was a chypre from the 70’s. I love chypres in general and especially those from the 70’s.
The opening is very herbal but then softens to a fresh and slightly powdery scent. There is a lot of citrusy coriander, rose and a hint of geranium. The dry down is a beautiful oakmoss-vetiver-patchouli combination.
What a classy chypre this is! I love the green box and bottle cap too. It really suits the fragrance.

    I love this so much.
    Not sweet.
    Fresh but mysterious.
The EDT lasts 5 minutes on my skin.
    Boo hoo!
I am considering a stronger concentration!

Picked up a pre barcode vintage off eBay and its still in perfect condition. This is a real blast from the past, reminds me of my Blase wearing teen years, a real 70’s powerhouse. The powdery dry down is beautiful and the staying power is fab, really enjoying finding this again.

What a beautiful old school cheapie in the Chypre family. Perfect for both genders formal or casual.
If you like but cannot afford Sisley go for it, you won’t regret it. Good projection and lasting power. I appreciate its soapy green freshness with these sunny spring days. Very office friendly.

At first spray, Coriandre EDT is bright, green, and super clean. To me, it isn’t clean like soap. It reminds me of fresh-cut herbs and wet roses. The aldehydes are strong, yet somehow remain subtle. During the opening, this scent has such a strong, in-your-face freshness, but still manages to have a lightness about it. Even though I really enjoy the drydown, the initial spray of Coriandre is what I love most about it.
As it dries down, it does get powdery, but the sharpness remains. I can see why this scent has endured so many years. I think it has aged amazingly well. Coriandre smells unique and modern. Suitable for any gender, any occasion, any season, any time of day. Love this stuff.

Logged in now. I purchased this blind and unfortunately it’s too powdery for me. Also not a fan of the patchouli drydown. I have an almost-new 3.4 oz bottle with the box that’s available for anyone who is interested. I’ve only sprayed it a couple times and I would hate to see an entire bottle of juice go to waste. The buyer would only be responsible for shipping costs (continental US only please). Please send me a private message if interested.

    Sophisticated, classic, unisex fragrance. Definitely.
Does Coriandre EDT smell like Agent Provocateur? Notr really. AP smells more like dry roses and musk than this.
This is super clean and herbal. It has some rose. But I get more vetiver. If you are a perfume lover who likes to wear Vetiver by L’Occitane, you might enjoy this as well. It has a similar dry down.
I think this is supremely elegant with woody depths, tender flowers, very universally appealing. I have a tester bottle of EDT that looks to be vintage.
I have to add that the oakmoss and patchouli give this a dry, papery air. If you enjoy Paloma Picasso and Clinique AE, you may enjoy this even with its lighter feel and the hints of flowers like rose and jasmine.

I bought a vintage edition of this perfume. The coriander head note is divine in it. But the juice had no longevity at all. I think the formula was very deteriorated. What a pity!

Here’s another confusing and conflicted review of Coriandre, which seems to be a trend for this fragrance. The initial spray of this smells exactly like cocktail bitters to me, and I’m honestly stunned that I haven’t seen the comparison made elsewhere. It’s sharp, funky and downright startling, to the point where I wondered if I needed to give up on this one. I’m glad I didn’t! After about half an hour, this fragrance evolved into something soft, green and inexplicably dusty and then stayed that way for hours. The strangest thing about it to me is that it reminds me of my maternal grandmother, which is odd since she NEVER wore any fragrance of any kind. Maybe it’s the fact that the dry-down also distinctly reminds me of the smell of sheets getting taken out of storage in the heirloom cedar chest. It’s not a dirty dusty, I don’t know how else to articulate it. Earthy but light. My husband doesn’t like it as much as my other scents (but didn’t DISlike it) and, funny enough, it’s the only scent I’ve ever worn that the dog reacted to. This one has him burying his face in my shirt! A good try for an adventurous lover of the “oldies”. I look forward to trying this in the spring/summer to see how the “dusty” green takes to the warmth.

This wonderful perfume antidepressants and invigorating complement to the image. Presented energetic girl, this Miss Congeniality. She could wear this perfume. The aldehydes here are not retro, but illuminating, audacious, ringing and fresh who are tired of citrus or cucumber perfume, coriander is mild, the rose does not take the attention on himself. He is persistent with this and a walk pricto and the room scents, unobtrusive and refreshing.

I am so excited to review this because what I have is a tiny bottle of pure parfum from 1970s.
If I was a man and smelt this on a woman, I would ask her to marry me on spot! Unique beyond words for today’s standards, a real, dirty, grown up, kick-ass perfume.
True to the name, the scent is dominated by coriander but all the listed notes glow in it. It’s an oakmoss heaven with a good dose of dirty civet. It’s very dry and green. It smells elegant top to toe. And it’s surprisingly very wearable. It does reflect the spirit of its time, but it’s not limited to it. Coriandre is a classic. It makes the wearer feel like a lady, exactly like one in the vintage ad above. (Realize that her neat shirt is wildly torn, quite a spot on suggestion for this scent!)

The EDT lasts FOREVER in the best way…. just a fresh but vintage green clean scent. Would be perfect (and it’s cheap) for scenting sheets, clothing, stored blankets, etc… My first tissue test has lasted for a month.
Since I really really like the EDT I went ahead and got the EDP cheap-ish ($25) on ebay.
The EDP is VERY much like Agent Prov EDP. Now I get the comparison.
The EDP is much much more antique/vintage rose. I found the EDT to be very green/fresh. So the EDP is really amped up.

I first sniffed this from a sample in a swap, and I really liked it. Clean, simple, green, fresh, happy/floral, dry, light, easy to wear.
I’m a huge fan of vintage greens/chypres full of aldehydes, oakmoss, and vintage “dust”, but this is quite fresh. It does smell vintage in the way that perfumes don’t smell like this anymore.
If you like classic, clean, linen-type scents, this is a good one. I would totally mist down my sheets with this for a blissful night sleep. Esp in summer. But this type of scent doesn’t really have a season. All-season. 😉
I also have Agent Prov EDP, and while I didn’t think they were alike at all… I do now. However, I have to go with Coriandre was being easier to wear and more pleasing. Lighter and fresher. AP is a dusty rose, and I find Coriandre to be absolutely a GREEN scent. AP is also kinda messy– like it’s not sure what it wants to be.
I wonder… how much better the EDP is… if at all. I got the widely available EDT off ebay for a song. The EDP is hard to find, and more expensive… but I see some on ebay for about $25… Hmmmm….

Eye of Civet and Thorn of Rose, Rind of Bergamot and Moss of Swamp.
This is Shakespeare’s Macbeth in a single spray: opens with “Enter three Witches,” and in their cauldron is a bubbling neon chartreuse potion.
By the third act it tries to come clean, the murdering queen taking a skinny-dip in a hidden spring, but it fails to wash off all the traces of evil.
Savage green, in a weird fertile spell-chanting way.

I bought this blind after reading reviews and I thought I knew what to expect but nothing could have prepared me for the icy, sharp opening blast. As soon as I got my first whiff I immediately thought of an old friend I hadn’t seen in 20 years. She was elegant, classy, glamorous and very feminine and I am certain that this was her signature scent. To me, this fragrance is full of hidden surprises…if I was to write it off based on the harsh green top notes I would have missed the glorious dry down which is much softer, soapier and warmer. I adore Vetiver which is very evident in Coriandre but it is tempered I think by some gentler woody notes.
The initial opening is very strong, I almost felt like I was getting a headache, but about an hour later I was rewarded by the soft and enticing bass notes.
This feels quite masculine to my untrained nose, but it softens to something quite intriguing. I can’t imagine many women wearing this one, it certainly feels like it would take someone with oodles of self assurance to wear such a scent. I don’t love it, but I think it will grow on me.
Edit: Having worn this properly for a few days, the opening blast only lasts for about ten minutes before drying down to a beautiful, soft clean powdery scent. It’s lovely and subtle and smells like the most delicious kind of soap. This could easily become a favourite for the daytime actually!

Ahhh… the good old’ green chypres of the 70’s. I’m biased towards them because of association; they are feel good memories, of simpler times, different sensibilities. The aldehydes that welcome you at first sniff squarely puts Coriandre in their time context, but the drydown is where this shines. It is floral, it’s green, it is very reminiscent of AE from Clinique, with its floral heart and patch, yet it feels less heavy than AE… I can not repeat enough how when you smell this you think of the color green. A peppery spice peeks every now and then, as you walk what essentially is a garden full of flowers after the pouring rain. I must add these chypres work very well in the scorching heat. It is not the trend nowadays, but any confident woman could pull this off. Why? Because it speaks to a different, maybe idealized, maybe anachronistic aesthetic of beauty. This is formal fresh, if that makes any sense. This is nostalgic, a reference to a time gone by.
    Smell great my friends.

Dear Ladies and Gents, i have no idea how in the world so many of you think it smells similiar to Sisley 🙂 i find very very very little resemblance. Nevertheless it’s a beautiful smell and i totally adore it. To me the opening is very similar to Jacomo Silences but with time it balances out and becomes a very nice soft powdery scent that reminds me of Nina Ricci l’air du temps. very safe scent. my only doubt is the sillage-it does not long more than 2 hr 🙁 you really need to spray a loooooot of the perfume so that others feel it.

  22. :

This is a beautiful perfume … eventually. Be warned, the first spray of top notes hit you like a ton of bricks and takes a little while to settle down to a manageable degree, about half an hour. After that, there is a lovely powdery, fresh, airy & earthy gorgeousness that continues from strength to strength as it dries down. 3 hours later, I am enveloped in a musky, powdery, soapy base note heaven. I do not experience the florals unfortunately, I think they get blasted away in the first 5 minutes … but as this is early days, I will continue to experience and contemplate. One spray only in the morning on wrists and heart is more than enough to last all day.

I purchased EDT version, 33 ml volume from the late 90s. Simple matt flacon which is compatible with its content. For me it has strong associations with autumn, fallen leaves. The sillage is moderate, longevity is weak. It’s litte bit sweat aldehyde chypre aroma with dominant note of coriandre.
I used to have Sisley – Soir de Lune. From the 1st sniff there is striking resemblance between Soir de Lune and Coriandre (EDT), but Coriandre looks like a cheaper version of Soir and it has much more coriandre, excuse for tautology. Also, Soir de Lune is more elegant, and Coriandre is more about thornyness.

  24. :

    5 out of 5

This is great stuff – smells like the 70s in a bottle. I don’t think that Coriandre and I are very compatible but I sure do respect it. I don’t think I ever truly wear Coriandre – it wears me! It is a very loud green Chypre and never fails to have people asking me what I am wearing . Despite being so retro it is a very avant guard , almost daring perfume as it is so different interesting and even a bit sexy . I will always have a bottle of this to remind me of another time and place but also because it’s so different to anything out there that I’ve experienced. A change is as good as a rest so they say so if you fancy an antithesis to vanilla / tonkavbased fragrances this could be what you’re looking for.
PS Helen – you can get this on AllBeauty in U.K.

Coriandre, composed by Jacqueline Couturier, the Grasse-trained perfumer wife and partner of the designer, makes an exceptionally bold statement with its green, earthy, spicy composition. The clarity of the spice note gives Coriandre an uncompromising vegetal muskiness. It’s difficult for me to think of another perfume that closely resembles it. I should add that I am reviewing the vintage EDT and vintage parfum versions. Based on reviews that describe Coriandre as clean, airy, and soapy, I’m going to hazard a guess that the coriander note has been tamed a bit in current versions…
Taking the 1970’s style of a cool dry green chypre, with notes of rose, Couturier added the wild card of a strong spice topnote. Coriander is the dried seed of the plants whose leaves we call cilantro. I love cilantro, and I think coriander is also wonderful spice. Not as smoky and funky as cumin, coriander has a citrus edge. But as I smell my jars of coriander and cumin and then sniff my arms, spritzed and dabbed with vintage Coriandre perfume and EDT, I have to admit that the spice in Coriandre sometimes smells more like cumin to me, or perhaps a combination of coriander and cumin. As a result, Coriandre is one of the rare vintage perfumes that is NSFW for me, although I love to wear it at home and out and about.

This smell reminds me of when I was a little girl when some of mom’s sophisticated friends wore perfume similar to this scent – pretty sure it was Coriandre. It is a unique smell – soft but unforgettable. I have a little tester. It also reminds me of a certain man’s cologne but forgot which one.I think it smells like Iris and Vetiver and Patchouli. Somehow this is not really for me – too earthy.
If you really take a good whiff of your wrist you can smell through the notes and get to the civet. I wonder if it is real or imitation.

Pretty much just coriander and ylang ylang. Very clean and soapy, but smells very dated to me and almost too much like a generic deodorant.

It is gentle but powdery. Imagine you run into someone who smells nice but discrete, never loud, but just pleasant and clean. This is what I feel from wearing Coriandre in the winter time.
It also last quite long, a general spray in the morning, and at night I could still detect it.
The scent of this perfum is quite unsual. It took me two years to appreciate it. I am glad I stick to it.

I hate chypres but I can tolerate this one. It’s a light summery chypre that I am wearing in the fall; goes on bug spray but becomes lovely not harsh but dries down to soft oakmoss. It does not smell like coriander. It lacks the pungency, spiciness and sweetness. This also isn’t musky or civety, which I adore. There are hints of citrus, oakmoss, aldehydes, a little woodiness, no floral.

5:00pm: Ding-dong! I run to the front door, fling it open, and yes, finally, a parcel sits on the mat. Inside, my blind eBay buy of a Coriandre EDT 3.3oz spray nestles with a sly smile.
5:10pm: The strong androgynous lines of the frosted bottle, cool to the touch, await my instructions. In a Herculean display of impulse control, I refrain from immediately drenching myself with the straw-colored juice. After dinner, little bottle, you shall be mine.
7:00pm: The hour is nigh. The dinner dishes are put away, and the children are gazing deeply into their gummy computer screens. Coriandre and I behold one another. It is time. I can wait no longer.
    7:01pm: SPRITZ. SPRITZZZ. SPRITZZZZZZ.
7:01 (1/2)pm: The scent of a thousand dusty kitty litter boxes, spilled black ink, and a stale bottle of Brut aftershave overpower my senses. Dear Lord, deliver me. I settle back and hang on for a bumpy ride. I can do this.
7:10pm: Stoically enduring my nausea, I practice yogic circular breathing and await the magical transformation that is sure to come.
7:11pm: The choking dusty aroma of kitty litter lifts, and a storm front of thunder clouds over a green pond at dusk settles in. Ah, thank the heavens above. Let the dry down continue.
(time passes… I find myself longing for a second shower, but I resist)
11:00pm: Settled into bed, I find myself craning my neck so as to escape my own aroma, which is like a grotty teen boy who spent the weekend camping in a swamp. But prettier.
Dear Reader, I spent all night periodically awakening to the alarming smell of the muggy back seat of a taxi cab filled with dollar bills and green bushes. That smell, my dears, was my own heaving decolletage.
6:00am: I regain consciousness in a haze of dust, black pepper, and wet cat. But prettier.
Later in the day, I give the bottle to my oldest son, who spritzes it on his skin and immediately smells incredibly good, like ferns in a mossy forest. The bottle is his to keep.

  33. :

It saddens me that Coriandre has never worked on my skin. Why? Because coriander is such a favorite in it’s powdered spice form that I cook with it almost every day. The scent and flavor are divine for me.
Yet, this fragrance combination ruins coriander. How? The floral mixture but especially the vetiver and oakmoss overwhelm coriander’s subtleties. Sure, they make Coriandre a chypre, but a badly blended one for my nose and my skin, which turns this scent into a scrubber after about an hour though I have endured it for an entire day.
That said, when bearable the drydown delivers some softness and a faint, faint whisper of the note for which this scent is named. However, the civet then kicks in and sits with the aforementioned vetiver, creating a cat-pee smell that simply never makes Coriandre desirable.
    Please test before buying. :/

Coriandre ,my love . Not the only one ,thanks God perfumes are not jealous.
Old formula extrait is v strong, not for everyone.
The new one is soft spoken and a tad sweeter and wonderfull and could get along with anyone.
The edt (no idea how old,but not the latest) was v strong also and years back when I got it ,it seemed to me overly masculin.Need to recheck on this.Definitely not for everyone.Maybe layered with a sweeter fume.
Like most of our darlings ,formulas and ingredients have changed for the worse in time (why do we keep saying humanity is evolving and is making progress ? )

By the name of it, i thought this perfume would be so strong and full of spice scent or coriander all over, it kinda discouraged me to try to sniff it or even buy it when I first saw it. But, after reading reviews on it, I was kind of curious and next visit to the store, spritzz it and it doesn’t smell offensive at all, it smell so lovely so I end up buying it. Now I’m obsess with it.
A very beautiful nice airy spice scent. Nothing overwhelming,or hurting my nose (just dont put your nose right after spraying it), which I project everytime I try to smell spice scent in perfumes, but this one,its a very elegant mix of spice and floral with fresh aura of it. Makes me wanna keep sniffing my nose to my wrist where I sprayed it.
Lucky me, it stays on my skin long enough, so spending hot days in a tropical country would keep me fresh and smell so nice with just a few spray, and spray it again in the afternoon and last the humid night in a different angle of exoticity deep yet somehow comforting scent. Love love love it!!

CORIANDRE has been one of my favorites for many years and I’ve gone through several bottles. It hasn’t been changed all that much, for which I’m grateful. I’m also grateful that it’s always been popular enough to remain on the market, but not so popular as to be immediately recognizable and/or associated with any particular era. On the other hand, it gets noticed.
This is a very unusual, complex, green and herbal fragrance with hints of florals underneath. After some hours, it’s even just a bit powdery. The name describes the fragrance and the dominant notes are of coriander seed, however there’s nothing food-like about it. It’s not sweet or fruity and there’s no vanilla. I find that it works well for me year-’round and for just about any occasion. Sillage is moderate. Longevity is pretty good as long as I first apply a little unscented moisturizer. If my skin is dry, this fragrance doesn’t last on me. The scent also lingers well on clothing.

Thanks to @mufulia who has kindly gifted me a vintage 1970s mini of Coriandre, which happens to be the oldest juice in my collection now.
Coriandre was long on my wishlist and I’ve never tried a reformulation, so my review will reflect how a vintage juice smells on its own without any reference to the current formula.
The moment I smelt and applied a dab of Coriandre on the back of my hand, it kicked me down with its strength (pure parfum) and extra powerful character.
Distinctively 1970s and a vessel for time travel for that, Coriandre proved to be the exact thing I’d expected to smell.
The strongest green perfume I’ve ever smelled, it has extremely a dusty aroma which I find similar to Lancome’s reformulated Magie Noire, but way stronger in this respect.
Coriandre is also the witchiest perfume I’ve ever smelled, and “witch” is a good thing for me 🙂
An ancient forest comes to mind, full of oakmoss, the moist brown soil, the dewy smell in the air, lots of dried leaves on the ground moist with the morning dew, the tree barks… The remnants of a fire from the night, about to die down but still giving a smoky aroma to the atmosphere…
Add to that the smell of old books, parchment papers exactly, leather seats, and heavy velvet curtains (in green or burgundy) intact since a century.
The sunlight is dim in both scenes…
Yes, so that’s how my vintage mini smells.

I found a vintage bottle of Coriandre for a song. I remember seeing it 20 years ago on closeout and thought this must be a “cheapie”. Once again my preconceived notion is shattered!
This is very GREEN in every way. It ranks with the finest chypres of the 20th century. The name used to scare me as coriander the herb is not my favorite. This perfume is another story altogether. It is very subtle and friendly. It does not fill a room or brutalize your friends.
Its notes are so well blended and you might say shy. I get a little aldehyde and then its out to the late May garden for a perfect warm weather walk. The is lots of green moss and an occasional flower here and there. Then of course the coriander/cilantro note that seduces and charms you. It is genius! It lasts all day, gently revealing its notes if you sniff it often.
This is the 1970s in a bottle. Laid back and honest. It acts more like an Eau as it is very warm weather friendly. Its one of the most easygoing fragrances I have ever worn. Millenials who are tired of sickening sugary fruitcholis should try this. This is a gateway fragrance that leads to a refined appreciation of scent.

Vintage EDT: My bottle does not look like those shown here. The glass is clear not frosted, the cap is just green not marblized, and the juice inside is a darker tan not mellow yellow. I only have a little left so I am on the hunt for an older bottle.
Coriandre by Jean Couturier is an exquisite perfume with musky rose, coriander, oakmoss and vetiver. It is the expression of one who is worldly, mature, complex, deep, soulful and wonderful.

Coriandre is a fragrance dedicated to the fine aroma of rose, a rose that feels particularly dusty, Coriandre is especially delicate and subtle, the effect of musk brings the cloud that surrounds it, it is beautiful like the petals of this flower, but this is only superficial, under all this other things they find more details of this rose Couturier offers hide.
The effect of aldehydes and cilantro cover this rose personality and character make it powerfully attractive smell and the effect of woods such as patchouli give a somewhat masculine, earthy character, coming to us to show to the roots of this plant, but not in an aggressive way, but in a gentle way, very sensual thanks to the effect of the civet, as it would undress before us in a sexy and daring way.
There is a retro tinge drying that envelops everything, Coriandre here becomes very attractive and refined, like a better version made of l’ombre dans L’eau Diptyque.

(for Konga5000, below) Not trying to be a smarty-pants but this fragrance contains coriander seeds, not cilantro….which are very different scents.

Born in ’72 and love Frenchy green scents like Crystalle and Eau Du Sud. This fragrance is what I love about those two. Seriously how did I never come across this one? It’s a love at first sniff for me, amazing! I can seriously consider this as a signature because it is so easy and clean. Something you can definitely wear to work and just smell like a little bar of French soap and yet so sophisticated and not overwhelming-sophisticated…Agh! Cant get over what a precious jewel I discovered, so excited and happy!!

My mom got this as a present about 20 years ago. As a teen I loved to sneak into her room and sniff the perfume from the bottle in the green malachite box. It lasted for days. Many years later, occasionally, I could catch the aftertaste of the aroma from some strangers and it immediately reminded me of my childhood but I could not find it in any of the stores and could not recollect the name to ask for – all I remember was this green malachite box and aroma. Couple of days ago I was browsing allbeauty.com and caught the glimpse of the coveted box – I immediately ordered it….It turned out to be such a huge disappointment 🙁 I don’t know, maybe, it was reformulated or I got a fake but it really smelled cheap and loud to me. 10 minutes later I smelt a glimpse of what it was used to be and then it was gone. The longevity is not existent too – after 2 hours the smell completely worn off. Now, I think I will be in search of some modern version of the same…

I LOVE the smell of Cilantro and was incredibly surprised that there was a frag using it as it’s central scent!
SMELLS WONDERFUL and FRESH and CRISP and HERBAL……….AND GREEN………then in a few moments……..totally gone.
ZERO longevity. Lasts slightly longer on clothes if you spray A LOT !
Still a good “pick me up” refresher and nice price too.
I will try layering it with other frags to see if any miracles happen.
This does NOT smell like freshly chopped cilantro whatsoever. Sorry about that…………….

To Algernon : Pity you didn’t like this perfume. I love it after having bought it blind in San Francisco a couple of months ago. Mind you, I’m not sure if it’s the original scent or a later formulation, but it suits me very well.
It’s a while since you posted so I’m not sure if you still have you
