Coral by Michael Kors has very striking packaging. You can almost spot this bright orange and gold bottle from a mile away. The bottle evokes a sense of exoticism and fun, which was what I was hoping Coral would smell like.
Coral is a very inoffensive fruity floral on my skin with sweet sugary floral notes and a rich, syrupy amber base. Sadly, like most fruity florals in today’s market, Coral has that all-too-familiar shampoo vibe. I have nothing against smelling clean and fruity, however, one does tire of the same scent over and over again.
I was hoping that the white floral accords would be more pronounced in Coral. Unfortunately the orange blossom and jasmine notes are quite watered down and sweet, as opposed to lush and full-bodied.
In addition to its generic composition, Coral also lacked staying power on my skin. As a fragrance intended for Spring and Summer wear, Coral would struggle to project under warm, outdoor conditions. I would recommend purchasing a smaller sized bottle so that you can easily chuck it into a handbag for re-application throughout the day.
Most young women will enjoy this inoffensive fruity floral, and some may find it wears longer on their skin too. If you’re curious to test this fragrance I would act fast, as it appears that Michael Kors is discontinuing Coral to make way for new releases.

Beautiful, juicy, sweet, and fruity fresh like Starburst candy when it is first sprayed, then it lasts like an hour on me…too bad!! Love the bottle!!!
sycleFeme – :
This is nice. I get a bright orange blossom and a creamy tuberose. The jasmine tea note is interesting. I typically fund tea notes a little too clean and sterile. This is definately a jasmine tea but it just adds to the freshness. I’m going to have to aquire some more of this and explore further.

Had not had this on my radar but @justcallmed makes it sound so delicious, on my want list it goes!! Thank you!

Picked this up for my sister for her birthday.
To me, I don’t smell a lot of a white flower here; this is pure mouth watering sugary sweetness that makes you think of sunshine, waves, sunglasses, summer time. It starts out like a Starburst to me; candy sweet and joyful, rounding out to a little more fruit, pulpy green and tiny amount of musk and stays right at a sappy, almost sticky (not a bad thing should you like a sweet/fruit smell) concoction. I like how this is sweet well done, not a generic candy coated one dimensional body spray; this is like a walk through a candy store in the summer with the sunshine warming your neck while you enjoy a bag of skittles and maybe a creamsicle and walk past a garden of soft smelling fresh blooming flowers.

My favorite summer scent! It just smells like… happiness to me and makes me want to go the beach. I could smell traces of it all day, and I love putting a couple little spritzes on my sheets.

I received a bottle of this as a gift, and I have to admit that despite it being worlds different than the fragrances I normally gravitate towards (smoky, spicy, oriental) it is really very lovely.
Coral is like a bottle full of bright juicy fruits with enough florals to keep it from feeling like you’re dousing yourself with fresh squeezed citrus. A beautiful summer fragrance, very breezy and easy to wear but still quite glamorous.

I saw Coral and Turquoise on sale. I decided to buy Turquoise. Wrong idea.
One week passed and I decided to buy Coral.
Yes, it’s fruity and it’s sweet. But it’s so good!
A tropical escape with luscious ripe fruits, seductive white flowers.
Just don’t judge it by the opening. Perhaps for some people it may be too girly/fun type of scent but give it a few minutes and it becomes a must summer fragrance.
I’m a guy and I wish I could pull this off but anyway, if you find it don’t miss your chance!
maria.illusion – :
Citrusy, slightly spicy, fruity-floral in the same vein as the much cheaper Liz Claiborne Mambo. Would be good for summer. I didn’t purchase though as I already own Mambo which is close enough not to need this.

My coworker wears this.
Day after day I thought to myself
*she smells amazing*, so I finally asked her what perfume she uses.
‘Michael Kors Coral’ she said, ‘it was a limited edition. Would you like to borrow it?’
So I did! I am wearing it now, giving it a test drive. 😉
It is actually unlike anything I normally wear/go for. (Typically a gourmand girl)
However it reminds me of a particular splash I used to wear in Jr. High called Mambo by Liz Claiborne… But much more refined.
To me Coral smells absolutely juicy, without being sugary sweet. It’s a tropical and luscious garden.
Grapefruit, lemon, mandarin, pink pepper, black currant, sweet raspberries. = Juicy and delicious.
Tuberose, jasmine tea, orange blossom = Sophisticated florals, a slight sharpness.
Sandalwood, cedar, musk and ambroxan. = Rounded out with a gorgeous warmth. (I don’t detect the sandalwood, and I’m glad about that, because to me sandalwood is a little dirty smelling. The base just smells warm.)
This perfume is easy to wear, inoffensive, and all around pleasant. I am enjoying it very much and will be purchasing it for summer.

It’s a white floral alright, but with a sharp right hook of bitter tangerine. The bitter citrus is the only thing left on me in the drydown, and doesn’t mix well with my body chem. I stick to wearing this in the winter, and not on my torso. I wouldn’t have bought the large bottle but I thought it was LE. (It’s not.)
kolchak – :
Does not hold a candle to Bvlgari Coral. Its okay, but it reminds me of something I can’t quite put my finger on. Something maybe my mom used to wear. But as I was getting opinions, the consensus was that it smells like an older lady when it mixes with my chemistry. You can smell none of the berry notes. Only a slight citrus, but mostly an ambery floral. I was not offended, but I won’t be re-wearing. Someone is getting a Coral Kors for their birthday soon……..

I think this is my second review…I got this a few months ago when I got it I thought I really loved it enough to buy a regular bottle but it always comes back to me and tuberose do not get along. Its a lovely scent but just not ” me”. I think the Michael Kors blue bottle Turquoise or Wanderlust are the best ones for me.

lady million ve cacharel scarlett ‘in ikisinin karışımı bu parfüm. çok espirisi yok gibi, ama fena da değil hani, en azıından sexy sunset’ten daha kalıcı …

I purchased this one earlier in the week and have been enjoying wearing it. CORAL is a fresh, orange-grove type of fragrance with underlying notes of woodiness and musk. The tuberose isn’t overdone here and just adds a bit of earthiness. Many reviewers have voted for a dominant jasmine note, however, it’s the neroli that is the most noticeable for me. This fragrance isn’t overly sweet and has a clean aspect to it without being sharp, astringent or soapy. I’m not familiar with the original edition of this fragrance, so am unable to compare the two.
The sillage starts out on the strong side, however, it quiets down considerably within about an hour. Overall, the longevity is excellent on me. This might not be a stellar fragrance, but it’s an extremely wearable one that can be dressed up, down or sideways. I tend to think of citrus-based fragrances as summery, but CORAL has enough body to stand up to the chilly autumnal weather going on here now.
When I bought this, I was shopping with a friend whose taste is often different than mine, but she liked this one too. So, on the basis of a very small and statistically insignificant sample, I’ll suggest that CORAL would be a safe blind buy or gift.

Just tried this today and am loving it.
Its more of a tropical and anamalic version
of the original michael kors. Which is what i have always wanted.
I get tuberose, orange blossom and sweet citrus the most and underneath there is the warmth of the ambroxan and sandalwood.
neapoli – :
It’s a strong white floral scent. The most dominant note is bitter tuberose. It’s not my favorite, as I hoped when I saw, it’s citrusy and white floral perfume, but it’s still quite fine.
Nice, just nothing original.
The coral color is very cute though, it catches an eye.
ninib43 – :
Coral is pleasant, inoffensive, and great for summer. I really only get a splash of grapefruit and some white floral. May be my skin chemistry, but no deep base notes. I plan to layer it over something deeper to round it out more.
AminiaMem – :
I liked the light orange opening but then as it warmed it just turned into a very generic musk.. 🙁
1старый1 – :
Pleasant, but also a bit bitter at the end on my skin. Surely it is a good summery scent, worth trying. For me it’s just too harsh.
Exhammaanigma – :
This is very, very similar to Michael Kors Sexy Rio de Janeiro! It’s a juicy, raspberry floral – an all-around feel-good summer scent. It also reminds me of Michael Kors Very Hollywood.
alexei2878225 – :
Plus>>> I liked this. But for a 2016 Summer fragrance, not a signature-my heart will stay with this-kind of fragrance.
It is orange-juicy yet elegant. Not childish-fruity. Very bright, very comfortable, very mouthwatering. A splash of sweet orange during a hot summer day, perfect. I am not sure if I would wear it in the evening, this is just so sunny. And actually it is all about the Opening.
Minus>>> I didn’t get the tuberose and I wasn’t impressed at all by the development. It quickly dried down to a synthetic nothingness. And it is so expensive (more than 50 euros per 30ml!). Sorry.
jambnabieta – :
The overpowering floral nature of the original has been toned down with the addition of juicy raspberry. I think it’s a pleasing addition, it almost smells rosy. It smells fresh and tropical, like tropical punch served in a garden. It’s not original, but it does smell nice.
дядька-2 – :
I love the opening! I detect the raspberry, it is delicious, unfortunately the floral notes take over real fast, and then the scent becomes very typical of Kors. I love it, but I wish the top notes had lingered though out more…longevity is ok, but not great…I bought a 30 ml and I will happily wear it! It is very pretty, feminine, it reminds me a bit of Very Hollywood, although Coral is quite unique. I don’t get all the notes listed either…it is hard not to like Coral! I feel it can be worn all season as it isn’t a fruity sweet scent per se, it is lovely and stylish, and light ..but you need to like floral scents to enjoy it
Very nice!!
borkundolbowl – :
I love it! Lasted for hours on my skin, and had a soft arm’s length sillage with two sprays. It’s a sweet one, with grapefruit and raspberry ruling the overall scent. The release definitely feels off, this is for sure a late spring and summer fragrance. But it’s great, so different from all the other MK scents out there, which all smell too similar for me (either tuberose or jasmine). I’ve got Michael by MK and that’s enough, and I’m also so happy to see an improvement on the bottle design! It has a real cap, and a separate atomizer, which is awesome news considering how faulty the Michael bottle is with the spray getting stuck in the non-removable cap. I will definitely own this come spring, and I know it says it’s limited edition, but I hope it stays around for a long time!
