Well, today I have tested the trio of zara fragrances from the molecules collection.
Before say anything about it, I want to say that is very curious how Zara alocate its collections, clothes and complements, as well as its fragrances, even in diferent shops in the same city. They adapt and sell only the portion of the season collection focused in the kind of people with an especific profile. This situation makes difficult to find some products oferted in web who imperative needed to be tested before buy as in this case their fragrances.
In the zara shop near my home I found two weeks ago or so only c4shmer4n. I visited 5 shops more in different ubications and shopping centers and don’t found any of the three fragrances, but today I went to a shopping center just outside the city and there was the complete collection waiting to be tested, so I did. The test was made in my skin, not on blotter. Here are my impresions:
C4shmer4n is the best of the trio if we talk about longevity and sillage.
I think its very unisex fragrance and althought personally I dislike its odour, I must admit that it has the best performance of the three. I think that despite it belongs to a molecule collection, it has nothing in common with excentric molecules fragrances, I mean, the fragrance is a mixture of the synthetic component with more ingredients to make it more complex, but in this case, c4shmer4n is a mixture of that and other musks. It reminds me a lot to grey amber, so I would have called it 4mbrox instead.
4mbrox fragrance is like a diluted version of Ambre Noble (from their Tag Collection) with its characteristic amber accord but without the woodsy complements of norlimbanol. It has a high longevity but with very faint sillage. Its high and very first notes makes a characteristic sweet ambrox accord but quickly it turns into the ambre noble note.
Finally, Cor4nol is the third fragrance belonging to the trio with the best smell in my humble opinion. Its a pity that also has poor longevity and a very faint sillage, so the price ratio for only 50 ml is high.
The notes listed in the fragrantica page description are so accurate. The fragrance develops to a precise cardamom note surrounded by the cedar-coranol accord. This aromachemical hasn’t the iso-e-super characteristics, so the fragrance lacks of the luminosity and woodsy accord that it would provide, but love the spicy cardamom smell, so this is my favorite despite its low performance.
Regards!

Fragrantica got the name wrong. It’s C0R4N0L, not COR4NOL. Fair enough, it’s a confusing name. 🙂
