Description
Davidoff launches its annual summer limited editions of the always popular Cool Water fragrances in a collection called Cool Water Exotic Summer for 2016. Since the original Cool Water from 1988 and Cool Water Woman from 1996, Davidoff finds inspiration in oceans and annually launches new, limited edition aromatic-aquatic fragrances. The new collection was preceded by Cool Water Summer Seas in 2015, Cool Water Coral Reef in 2014 and Cool Water Into The Ocean in 2013.
Cool Water Sea Rose Exotic Summer for women is announced as an enchanting scent of intriguing contrast between bright and sultry tones. It opens with fresh mandarin, leading to the rich heart of roses. Refined woody notes of cashmere in the base provide depth to the composition. Available as 125 ml Eau de Toilette.
The distinguishing bottles of the collection are decorated with discreet palm tree prints, while their boxes show pictures of sea lagoons.

I just bought this yesterday and I am impressed with strength and longevity of this, you definitely smell rose in this but I don’t smell the citrus part but saying that I really like this fragrance,I’m not a fan of the original cool water for women since I find it slightly masculine but this is like the more girly sister of cool water,it smells lovely and you need to spray this more carefully due to its surprising strength but overall it’s a lovely well made feminine rose fragrance and I recommend this if you don’t like the original cool water fragrance.

Still on sale for $20 at Shoppers Drug Marts, I finally picked this up after ignoring it for several weeks, as I do like a good rose scent and I was hoping for some sea water accord.
Personally, and my allergies of late could account for this, but I see this as just a really summery rose soliflore. It’s not too rich, nor too thin. I didn’t pick up on the mandarin at all – this was ROSE from the start. I sense a little of the woody cashmere base – it’s discreet, but enough to keep the rose from being shrill.
This is really nice! And it survived a shower, five hours after application. I suspect this would be a very good one for layering, too.
ETA: This has quickly become my favorite rose perfume. And I do sense the marine quality. It’s long-lasting and delightful for summer!

Orangy musky rose…drydown is very similar to that of Chloe..

To begin with, this is the Davidoff way to wear Chloe by Chloe. Yes, that distinctive rose with the saltiness exaggerated. “Sea-Rose”? Good name pick.
But it then turned to something different, a sea-weedy whiff of Mugler’s Womanity perhaps? Sea stuff again, but thanks, no. Overall, not my cup of tea and zero originality.

I found this for 19.99 at my shoppers drug mart so I snatched it up. I had loved the original many years ago so I thought why not! I gotta say this smells very close to Dior Addict 2! It’s so pretty. Sure its been done many times but I never get tired of having a few different varieties of similar smelling girly scents! Great find for a great deal!

This is a strong fragrance!! Don’t spray with abandon as you would with the original Cool Water. The rose is very strong in this one, with a background of the original Cool Water and a strong cashmere wood scent. I love it! It smells exactly like Roses by Chloe.
