To this sum this fragrance, Frozen is more of a real citrus/herbal aromatic scent and not the citrus/aquatic note that you first smell from CW. Also this frag has a hint of that signature sweet powdery vib from the vintage version of CW.
The lavender and oakmoss are two notes that usually come across as being a barbar shop aroma, yet the same notes together with mint has given this juice a playfull/youthfull vib.
Both Amber and musk add to the warm/powdery tone of this juice.
Just a smig enough to pick-up any sandalwood and coriander.
Longevity and Silage are both moderate, excellent for the summer-early fall months.
Finally,
DAVIDOFF has pulled off several excellent well done Frag’s including Zino, DAVIDOFF men, Good Life, CW and CW Frozen. During the summer months it’s rare that I go more than 3 days and not wear any Davidoff fragrance. Frozen is a lost Gem which is a shame. If you want a more lighter version of CW..Frozen is it in my opinion. 7.5/10

This is a pretty good grapefruit with lime…very “fizzy” and effervescent in the top, with a little aqua and some rather unusual florals. I quickly learned that it stands out simply by not bothering me the way so many others in this family do. The cilantro also isn’t lost on me, and it starts to be a pretty obvious comparison to Live Jazz, but to me this manages not to be harsh and metallic like LJ. The underlying Cool Water components start to come out after a while, but all the sweetness is gone so it’s more like a deconstructed, purely floral/herbal version. It almost starts to remind me of Wellington or Blenheim Bouquet but without the kitchen herb element. A little weak in the end, but very pleasant and nicely rounded overall.

The best flanker of Cool Water and better than the original. Feels like ice when first applied and is brighter and fresher than the original. This is the one to get.

Nice frosted bottle and surprisingly inexpensive too. Much the same as the original & great Cool Water (ok, perhaps a tad brighter/fresher – although nobody but the most astute anorak will recognise that you’re wearing “a variation” of Cool Water), but irritatingly needs frequent topping up as it seems to last only half as long 🙁
Over the years, it’s been a sad mystery to me why Davidoff hasn’t been able to create some genuinely interesting flankers to its bread & butter Cool Water, much as Paco Rabanne has succeeded in doing so with its staple Ultraviolet for Men.

More enjoyable to me than the original. I like its iciness–it quietly breathes on my skin, and I’m all for that. I get more mint and musk than any of Frozen’s other (excellent) list of notes.
Pleasant and extremely wearable, especially in spring and summer.

I am going to say that coolwater is a CLASSIC and it is also played out by all these pinheads dumpin too much on to the point that scent drives people crazy….. like many of these popular overused mens colognes
This is a good version and lighter and slightly different but it is a sexy scent
