Im glad i found a bottle of this wonderful juice. To bad its discontinued, which means i will go easy with this one. A great mix of rather unusual notes which makes it stand out from other summerfrags. You dont ”need” this in your collection but if you find a bottle i will recommend you to pick it up.

Davidoff Cool Water Deep was my top fragrance back in college in 2004. Too bad it has been discontinued shortly after I fell in love. It is a very fresh aromatic scent, I’d say complex and not very fitting to the “Cool Water” line. It’s different, I think the best of the line – very modern but not as mature/masculine.
The fir resin, cactus, kiwi and wood notes can easily noticed in this one together with a musky base. A top fragrance that I can’t forget and another one in the club of discontinued masterpieces.
As far as I could remember, longevity was great with not-in-your-face projection, which was perfect for hot summer days.
Today I got Rasasi Oudh Al Misk, to try out and it was very cheap. And the most unexpected thing happened! Oudh Al Misk immediately remineded me of Cool Water Deep! How come!? I was so happy, to at least found something to remember the beloved Cool Water Deep. So if you guys have tried Oudh Al Misk by Rasasi, please share your views as well! There are no similar notes rather than the musk, but somehow just somehow I felt the same when I sprayed my first Cool Water Deep.
p.s. Rasasi Oudh Al Misk has nothing to do with Oud, no idea why that name was given, but it’s an aromatic fresh.

Having tried quite a few male fragrances made by Nathalie Lorson I am truly impressed with anything she attaches her name to. Cool Water Deep is no exception. It is a real shame that Davidoff discontinued this beauty.
I’ll state straight away that this is easily the most complimented fragrance I have ever worn, a lady in work thought that it was something by Hermes, it really has a touch of class. Another lady said she found it to be “fresh and clean”.
Scent wise it is a little unusual and hard to describe. Has strong woody notes but is really crisp, relaxing and has a green outdoors dimension. the Cactus and fir resin gives the impression that the scent is made to resist extreme temperatures and I do find it has a cooling quality.
Of note, I find Cool Water Deep to be especially long lasting, noticeable for 8 hours at least.
Thumbs Up!

A very sweet and fresh aroma yet still very much an inviting one that lingers with even after you’ve left its presence; I can see a cool, calm and collected man wearing this, a masculine fragrance with notes of apple, mandarin, cactus and labdanum, aromas that suit this fragrance for sure, although the cactus note was a surprise.
This was another 2 ml fragrance that I took on holiday with me and if I’m honest I didn’t spray that much, and upon reflection I wish I did as the aroma of Cool Water Deep is quite lovely. It’s a shame that it is discontinued. Longevity and silage is really good lasting anything from 6-8 hours, very comfortable to wear in the summer season.
Overall, any person who likes the outdoors will like Cool Water Deep. As it’s a very fresh fragrance that can be worn in the summer months by anyone who wants to smell clean while still feeling confident that they can accomplish anything.

Got this on a sample as a gift and I’m wearing it today…
First of all, the longevity is pretty good for being such a fresh scent, the same as in “lanvin pour homme sport”, both fragrances I can compare and I love the fresh and light structure but with a strong lasting power…
Being that said… this perfume is soo good guys! The most prominent notes on me are the cedar accord, fresh but persistant with the sharp/citrusy kiwi and juicy green apple, a crunchy apple…
Great for everyday use is very uplifting! Sadly discontinued, this is what I call a well made fresh scent, yeah it’s fresh and light but not similar or the same as others so it doesn’t fit on the “generic fresh list” hahahahaha…
regards from Chile 😉

An amazing cologne, however discontinued, that managed to raise the level of Cool Water line in terms of personal taste.
It is different, sexy and powerful since the beginning, for its notes of juniper berries, green apple, kiwi and cactus. YES, cactus, that plant from the desert that holds the highest temperatures and still, keep water inside of it. And that’s exactly how I’m feel when I’m wearing this scent: it doesn’t matter how hot could be outside, I feel myself fresh inside. And maybe, this is the reason of the name “deep”.
To complement this beauty, we have a “modest” heart of fir resin, cedar needles and sage. Then, comes the base and explodes with rich notes of labdanum, cypress, guaiac wood and elemi resin, which is outstanding.
The result is an intense, refreshing and woody aroma, in the same style as L’Eau D’Issey Intense (I said style, not similarity of smell). Projection and lasting power are great!

A lumberjack real man kind of scent. Very woodsy and sexy. A cedar, fir resin and sage bomb. Very VERY faintly softened by a hint of apple. But you have to have a good nose to smell that note. (or get really close to the man who’s wearing it 😉
Silage is: “I am in the woods doing manly stuff” – Longevity is: “all day long”.
Great for men who like to smell like they just came from a day in the great outdoors. Yummy!

I used this fragrance in 2007, the truth is that it smells great and is very masculine, fresh and sexy.

This smells like a man to me. So serious, so grown up, so deep. It’s quite elegant, but still strong. It makes a statement. I’m just not the biggest fan of the bottle. It’s alright, but to me it looks like a flask.
Russel-666 – :
Not that great to be honest. Not what I expected but it was cheap. Ok for daily use but nothing great. Just not worth the cool water label.
BOBA1984 – :
Well, Cool Water Deep puzzles me bearing its brother’s title. IMHO, they only share fresh and aquatic sensation but not the total impression of the original.
If “deep” means a deeper dimension of aquatic interpretation, this juice simply fails. I expected Cool Water Deep to be more on boldness, coldness, sea breeze or somewhere along these lines. I found none of these in the juice, which is irritating to me.
Instead, it is a very sweet juice with minimal longevity and sillage. IMO, sweetness is thanks to the incense note in the drydown.

I still prefer Cool Water over this one.

It’s a nice one, everything sweet and fresh here. Yet this one reminds me of something else, which escapes me at the moment, but it’s definitely not the original Cool Water. This heavy reminiscence however raies the question why it’s called “Cool Water” in the first place – couldn’t they have thought up a new name?

Blast of pine and orange!
After a while, the orange disappear and soft musk replaces it.I agree with ropname, the becomes sweeter. Piney note is always around.
but it doesnt last long on me.

One of the best fresh fragance as the freshness is indeed taken to the next level (top note). After the drydown the scent sweetens a bit & looses the “hit wave” of top notes, but still keeps the aquatic note all time. This makes it very pleasurable & comfortable to wear in a hot summer day. Also the lasting power is very good.
