I received this as a free 50ml bottle with an order from Yves Rocher.
Having checked the YR website, I think the notes on Fragrantica are wrong. This is the most recent non-limited edition of the EDP on here;YR website lists the notes as follows:
Top notes: bergamot, violet leaves
Heart notes: rose, jasmine, wild lily of the valley
Base note: patchouli
I’ve had this on for a couple of hours now; I am very sensitive to oakmoss and can’t smell it AT ALL – normally it grabs me firmly by the throat if present in large amounts, even in relatively small, truth be told.
This is a fresh green summery fragrance. Predominant notes are LOTV and jasmine, with violet leaves lending the greenness and the bergamot adding freshness to it. I can detect rose, although it is very soft and (in my opinion) patchouli is practically non-existent.
Fragrantica’s notes don’t include rose (which I am sure I CAN smell) but do include oak moss – which I definitely can’t smell. I’ve checked the listed notes of all the other Comme une Evidence fragrances listed and none of them match up to the notes currently listed on the YR website. Having said that, it appears YR re-release this perfume virtually every year under much the same name but with different notes, which is complete madness! Some of the releases have nothing in common with others, so they can’t even be accurately described as flankers. Sometimes the perfume contains the same notes, but has a different bottle design, all of which is very misleading and unfair to their loyal customers.
This version (if that is what I’ve got!) is really quite pretty, reminding me of Nina Ricci’s Premier Jour – not that it smells that similar, it just has the same sort of feel to it.
Soft to moderate sillage and a safe office scent. Not sure of longevity yet, but 100ml is half price (£25.50) on the YR website at present, so reapplying shouldn’t be too much of an issue. I definitely would NOT pay full price for it, but this is a keeper for me; I won’t re-purchase, though.
EDIT 30 September 2016: I’ve just bought Elizabeth Arden, Splendor EDP. There is a distinct similarity to this (or at least to the version I have). I’ve sprayed CUE on my left wrist and Splendor on my right and they share similar notes immediately after drydown – Lily of the valley is very distinctive in both; of the two, I prefer Elizabeth Arden.

I am sadly not a big fan of this. I tried comme une evidence years ago and did not like it, but chose it for my freebie again this year when ordering from yves rocher.
I had not noticed the rose note before and hoped it would be different.
Rose or no rose it smells the same to me when makes me think fragrantica just forgot to add that note.
I can’t explain why I don’t like it, looking at the notes I would. There is something just incredibly flat about the scent. The base notes that don’t smell good quality smash down the delicate pretty floral notes. It smells like white noise in a way, nothing really sticking out.
I also got a free shower gel which I like a lot better, it smells more like rose. I honestly would have been ok with a simple, not long lasting floral cologne over this “parfum.”
But hey, it was free. I hope my mom likes it, and if not there is always someone who’d appreciate it.

bought a gift set of it on 50% off from Yves Rocher. i use it mostly for work and i find it to be a long-lasting scent. this is so fresh and floral at first and later becomes so creamy and musky on my skin and feels like a luxurious body lotion. i really love it and find it to be good for hot and humid work days.

Summer times, I’m mixing it with Comme Une Evidence Green for Men Yves Rocher for men and the result is refreshing. Go on, try it ladies, you might find it pleasant like me! 🙂

Don’t care for this one. I got it for free, but unfortunately I don’t really like it that much. It doesn’t disgust me in any way, it’s actually a quite nice scent. However, it smells so boring to me and a bit too mature to suit a woman my age (I’m 22). Also the scent strikes me as rosy and floral all the way, I’m a sucker for patchouli but in Comme une Uvidence I find it a bit too eldery-women-like.

This is beautiful. It is simple, delicate and very womanly. The lily of the valley leads the way but in a very gentle way that lets the jasmine come through. It does not smell anything like your typical lily/jasmine that we are used to in Jessica McClintock for example. This is a very pretty non-offensive perfume with excellent longevity and sillage. Happy Perfuming! ♥
