AgentDeath – :
Cologne Noble was released in 2014 and aims to convey a breath of Mandarin orange and green spices. The concept embraces something about our ancestors, the classic and elegant, yet discreet.
Its composition brings notes of Mandarin orange, on top; cardamom from Guatemala, coriander and nutmeg, in the heart; moss from Slovenia, Iris and musk, in the base. Still, it has those common chemical compounds, such as Geraniol, Limonene and Citral, which enhance floral and citrus aspects in perfumes.
On the skin, the result is noble, as its name says. It reminds you of other classic citric fragrances like Boucheron pour Homme, Acqua di Parma Colonia Assoluto, among others.
When touches the skin, Cologne Noble brings more than a simple mandarin, since this one tends to be juicy and fruity. There is a mixture of citrus nuances that give a bitter and fresher aroma. I feel a delightful nuance of bergamot, which was not listed, but might be in the accord. It lingers for almost the whole evolution, merging with the aromatic cardamom and the dry facets of the coriander.
After a long time, a mossy base begins to appear. It doesn’t become very “old school”, just because of the iris that, along with the musk, gives lightness and softness to the fragrance. It is worth saying that there is almost no development in this perfume, because everything happens subtly.
Cologne Noble is considered unisex, but I’d say it’s more like a sharable masculine scent. It has excellent projection and medium durability. It lasted about 6 hours on my skin, which is very positive for a niche fragrance made with natural ingredients.
It is a citric-aromatic of natural aspect and great projection, of the kind that conveys elegance. I really liked it!
