Lovely. Coeur de Noisette Sinfonia di Note is really delicious! Beautiful coconut, then the most gorgeous hazelnut/chocolate cream! Yum! Fabulous. There’s a beguiling touch of spicy smokiness, and it’s very beautifully supported by lovely amber and woods. It’s really gorgeous. Gosh, I keep sniffing – actually deeply inhaling to be more precise! – myself it’s so delectable and moorish! Exquisite!

I smell no coconut, sadly.
It opens spicy and warm. And on me at least it stays spicy and warm, cinnamon certainly. Maybe some pepper. There is some nutty scent but it’s light and really just support structure for… the spices. 😉 Warm, and spicy a great perfume for a cold rainy grey day. I find myself warming to this (sorry, pun intended.)

I agree with Chicago Tony, however, if you have ever chewed Big Red gum and like it, then you will enjoy this scent.

This should be labeled as a Spicy Oriental as the spice notes play center stage from beginning to ending. The cinnamon is very obnoxious and drains out the other notes on my skin which is such a shame as I was expecting some coconut and hazelnut and amber but I did not. I see that some got samples from Luckyscent but as of now they don’t carry the line. I have never smelled any others from the house but I am guessing that they perhaps flopped?

I’m also having the Big Red chewing gum experience like kris919. I’m amazed there is no cinnamon listed in the notes.

Opening: I don’t know if it’s technically in there, but there’s a strong potent red-hot candy cinnamon note that’s tearing my nostrils up. That being said, a lot of times I seem to get huge hits of the basenotes before anything else shows up..my skin is weird like that . Middle: it settles down to a Big Red chewing gum phase which isn’t much different than the opening just sweeter and less spicy. The cinnamon gum middle keeps getting sweeter and lasts a couple of hours. So far I don’t recognize any coconut , hazelnut, fruit, or floral. And I never will …I do like this (believe it or not) but this is just liquid Big Red gum on me until it fades completely in 3 hours, end of story. Would I buy an fb? if I found it somewhere for cheap, probably yes. projection is moderate.

It’s all about amber. First spray is sweet coconut and its gone after 10 mins then its amber all the way. I get a faint nutty smell in the dry down at that stage it’s a skin scent and I have to sniff hard to get it reckon on me longevity start to finish is 2.5 hours. Sillage is good when amber is there. It’s a disappointment for me I love amber but I have other perfumes that do that job better, I thought this was going to be about hazelnuts and its not, blind buy (again ) try before you buy if your looking for a nutty scent, for amber it’s the job

Starts off smelling like dirty socks left to rot in a wet cardboard box (coconut?). But don’t despair, after a few minutes you can detect the hazelnut (Nutella – yum!). The drydown reminds me of German spiced biscuits eaten at Christmas, called Pfeffernusse or Lebkuchen. Similar to gingerbread with cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. I don’t detect anything fruity here.

I have used up my samples from Lucky Scent and I think this is a great fragrance. It is unique. The hazelnut note is creamy and is the first note you smell, then comes the coconut which does smell like vanilla sugar. I like this fragrance very much. At the end of the day I can still smell it on my neck and my collar. It’s not overpowering and rides close to the skin. If people get close to you they will smell it. There’s a touch of a tea spice, and reminds me a little of dulce de leche. This company knows what they’re doing. A+! I need to get a bottle of this refreshing juice.

Just delicious! First impressions – Christmas baking… nuts, lots of!!!, vanilla (ok, there isn’t any vanilla here apparently, so maybe it’s the coconut. Or maybe it is both :-)), spices, candied citrus peel, maybe even hint of the tree that has scented the whole house…and of course sugar! Powdered – or icing – sugar, that sort so fine, that is floating in the air… Wonderful and in spite of my description, on my skin it’s not completely foody fragrance…but hey, it’s so nice, that even if it was… – no, I wouldn’t mind smelling like a Christmas cookie, but it doesn’t stay that way anyway. Only a few minutes later as it develops, it is suddenly almost fresh, almost summery as it continues on a woody/nutty note with a hint of flowers and sweetness that somehow seems to be “candied” type of sweetness, very natural. Very, very nice. I would start seriously think about purchasing this, but the lovely scent last only very briefly on me. Half an hour later I struggle to smell it at all.

The coconut at first is so sweet and sugary it smells a bit too much, too fake. This quickly dies down to a soft creamy hazelnut with a hint of spices, it smells like honeyed nuts. I don’t really get flowers, altough I can already smell the amber in the base and I’ve only been wearing for 5 minutes. I do agree about the smokiness the reviewer below mentions, I think it’s from the amber, or maybe the hazelnut wood is giving the smokiness. It’s nice. I am glad the top notes don’t last long as I nearly had to scrub this off. Still not FBW for me though.

If I ever had to choose one single fragrance I would like to save for future generations, I really think I might go for that one.
I have not tried other creations from this perfume house, Coeur de Noisette is so unique and delicious, that I really think I will see about odering some samples soon.
Coeur de Noisette is, as the name says, all about hazelnuts. Specially at this time of year, with snow and fog outside (as a matter of fact, the visibility outside as I write is some 2 metres at most), it is probably one of the best fragrances to wear. Incredibly cozy, warm, sweet, but sweet in a quite interesting way- very, very elegant, intense, dark. It is not overpowering, but it is strong enough.
So, let’s get to the point, shall we. CdN starts off with sweet coconut before it gets to the most delicious hazelnut phase. It actually smells a bit like hot chocolate with hazelnut infusion, but has got some smoky character to it. Then you get a kick of spices, just gorgeous, I simply cannot get enough. I inhale, inhale, and want more. It fells like opening a box of luxurious chocolates. As you unwrap the box, the smell of goods gets more and mroe intense. In the same way, the amber and woods increase on the smokiness and sweetness.
The whole fragrance has also this slightly powdery touch to it- a bit similar to that of Bois Farine by L’Artisan Parfumeur, except that is is sweetier and nuttier. An exquisite elegant gourmand fragrance I would say!
