Bought this perfume for my fiancee for her birthday. It simply smells divine and sexy like a woman should smell. It has the class and sophistication that I associate with Chanel. Versatile and can be worn on any occasion. My favorite female perfume alongside Carolina Herrera Good Girl.

You don’t even have to like CM to adore this version. It should have been a new perfume instead of a flanker. It’s a compliment getter and nobody has realized so far it’s related to Coco Mademoiselle.

Sexier, longer lasting, no screechy opening and warmer. Perfection.

I love the original one so much. It smells beautiful even in humid hot weather. This intense one, there is nothing intense about it. In fact, it’s terrible. I don’t understand the hype behind this version. It’s not stronger than the Mademoiselle original. It’s not better. Its silage is worse than the original. I bought it solely based on reviews on here. I definitely regret buying it.

I’ve never been a Mademoiselle fan. I like Coco Mademoiselle, but that’s it – I find it really pleasant, very well blended and I appreciate the legend Mademoiselle has become. But there’s always been something in classic version of CM, that has irritated me. Something too sharp and too masculine.
Because all of that, I wasn’t actually exited, when this intense version of Mademoiselle was released. Now I know, that I should be very exited, because it turns out, that it was love at first sight (or actually I should say – at first sniff).
Coco Mademoiselle Intense is still Coco Mademoiselle, but without this irritating part. It’s nothing, but feminine – finally I can’t smell anything masculine or too sharp. It is very smooth, warm and elegant. More tonka bean and a pinch of labdanum, which is actually one of my favourite notes ever, make this scent super sophisticated and more cozy. It seems that I finally found my Mademoiselle. Tonka-patchouli heaven.
And by the way, it lasts FOREVER on my skin. Just like the Coco EDP does. Love it.

First off let me say that I have never really been a fan of Chanel fragrances shocking right? They usually are to stuffy and uppity for my boho beachy loving persona. However,I was needing a sophisticated fragrance for an upcoming event and I decided to take the chance and by this blind although I did read a few reviews on it as well.I just have one word for this fragrance STUNNING.It works amazing with my body chemistry. This is how a eau de parfume should perform.I put one squirt on my neck and one on my navel and you could smell this beauty all day and all night long. Its blended so beautiful but the rose patchouli vanilla Tonka and Amber with some light fruityness are the main notes I get.You could wear this all year if you wanted.I picture a bond girl wearing this fragrance as it’s the perfect mix of earthy slightly sweet and very elegant with a touch of darkness.I hope they do not reformulate this beauty or I will be devistated. The performance is amazing and my bottle was made in paris.I would even say it’s a more gourmand version of the original Coco Mademoiselle and in my opinion this is how the original should have smelled.Get your hands on a bottle of this it really is a stunning new release that’s an improvement on the original.

I am with Venusia that this one is like the original version of Mademoiselle with some Allure Sensuelle added. Actually, I owned the original Allure edt and THAT one is also a good comparison to this Mad Intense. The original Allure edt was stronger on the patchouli and for that matter on ALL the notes than it is today (even though I still love it). Anyway, I never bought the original Mad since everyone wore it even though I, like everyone else, loved it. Today its way too weak for me so of course I had to get this. The orange and the fruity notes in this are lovely- strong and real and the rose-jasmine combo is pure class. I smell the tonka more than the vanilla, but yes, the patchouli is the star, I´d say and the orange. This Intense is fresh oriental woody and yet pretty fruity. Bright and mysterious at the same time. A wonderful masterpiece of a perfume.

I love the comment of the user under mine. I would agree 90% with you. This could be the new (in the power of square) Miss Dior EDP 2017.
Well, you just have to wait a little bit. You won’t be impressed right after spraying but this is Chanel quality and Coco Mademoiselle EDP is such a complex perfume. It’s very similar to the original but Intense edition’s key word is tonka bean!
If I could choose one, this would be the Intense version because it’s quite more modern, not better compared to the original’s sillage, lasting power is the same but this is where you can compare them. The original finishes with a rosie-patchouli-powdery freshness and the intense one with a less fresh, more dark, tonka bean-patchouli-spiciness. Bravo to Chanel who stays close to their customers and a huge dislike to Dior for once again destroyed Miss Dior, sorry but I am an ‘orphan’ too ^_^

    2012 Miss Dior orphans, REJOICE!
This is not only a very good substitute for the 2012 version of Miss Dior, this is fortunately BETTER than Miss Dior. I never had had a Chanel fragrance, until I found out Dior had reformulated Miss Dior and turned it into a generic mess. Then I found out Coco Mademoiselle Intense was pretty much like the 2012 Miss Dior and got a 100ml bottle. I definitely do not regret it – if you loved Miss Dior for its elegant, feminine and polished patchouli, you’ll go crazy about Coco Mademoiselle Intense.
Here, the patchouli is even more powerful, almost as powerful as Shalimar’s patchouli, (but it’s more elegant and less oriental than Shalimar), it’s like “a patchouli you can take to the office”, feminine, very bright and chic, very much Chanel. The silage is AMAZING and it’s much more lasting on my skin that Miss Dior.
It also has some kind of freshness that Miss Dior didn’t have. In the end, it’s constructed in a better way than Miss Dior was. I praise Chanel for the smart commercial move. Since Dior is in a self-destructive journey, Chanel’s duty is to cease the opportunity to adopt Dior’s orphans. Well, Chanel got my heart with Coco Mademoiselle Intense EDP.

I reviewed this almost a month ago based on a sample I received, but I am reviewing it again because I’ve worn it almost nonstop since purchasing a full bottle and I have a better feel for the fragrance from start to finish now. To say I’m obsessed with CMI is an understatement. I cannot get enough! I want to smell like this for the rest of my life.
I love this fragrance from the first citrusy blast, to the rose and patchouli heart, down to the creamiest, dreamiest vanilla base I have EVER smelled in a perfume. I don’t know which phase is my favorite (probably the drydown. The vanilla is just divine). This fragrance takes you on a journey and I love every second of it. This is by far the most expensive perfume in my collection, and I know why it’s so steeply priced: it is quality from top to bottom. Nothing in this juice smells cheap or synthetic.
It comes alive in cooler weather. It has unbelievable longevity (I’m talking probably 12+ hours – I can often still smell it on my skin the next morning, and for days on clothing) and good sillage. The sillage is not overbearing, but I only use one spray – on one wrist, then touch wrists together, then touch wrists to my neck. I think this could be quite strong if oversprayed, but I love it lying close to my skin. I get constant, delicious wafts of myself throughout the day and I’m just in love. I think I’m a Chanel convert!

Tried this a few days ago and thought it was just lovely. I never really ‘connected ‘ with the original, but this I love. And we are heading into the coolness of autumn so it seems perfect for that. Had the sample spray on my arm when I went to pick my son up at church. As I was saying hi to one of the guys, he all of a sudden said ‘patchouli!’ I laughed and said ‘oh you can smell that huh?’ He said ‘I loovvee a good patchouli, and that smells amazing!’ And my husband could not stop smelling me and saying how good I smelled…so guess what I went and bought today? 😉

I loved the first version of Coco mademoiselle. Back then I was too young and couldn’t afford it. Later on the newer version didn’t match my taste anymore. These days I received this one as a gift from my husband. I love this! This is an improved Coco Mademoiselle (think first version) with hints of Allure Sensuelle edp in the drydown. Now I have two of my favourites in one! Beautiful!

I personally think this formula is an improvement and is a bit more sophisticated . It is not that intense or different that the original formula, but the spices stand out a little more and that makes the fragrance have more sillage to me.

Starts like Coco Mademoiselle EDP fresh aromatic citrusy and rose feminine The drydown becoms sweeter fruitier with a big patchouli base
Its the most vintage bohemian scent I,ve smelled It reminds me of boho chics from the 70,s also quite similar to the Original there,s nothing intense about it in my opinion I expected something sweeter and creamy But its more a different flanker a mysterious greener vintage version of the Original I love the original which is stylish and very feminine This is almost a unisex in the drydown
    Not for everyone

Since i have CCM,CCMI and CNDW so am going to share what i experience wearing all 3 of them. To me, CCMI at first i couldnt smell the different between CCMI and Club De Nuit Woman. Rumour has it that CNDW is a dupe for classic CCM, but to me, CNDW is actually the dupe for CCMI. Here’s what i thought… CCM has a harsh opening, citrusy and fresh fruity scents, while CNDW has softer and sweet floral fruity scent that makes CDNW similiar to CCMI. So how you define the differ between CNDW and CCMI??? CCMI imo, is deeper, dense, and less powdery than CDNW or CCM. If you need something fresh, cheer, citrusy and floral, chic, girly and energetic yet sweet and romantic wear CCM. If you need a calmer, warmer, sweeter and softer scent, wear CDNW. Last but not least, if you wan to look chic, bold, elegant yet romantic, CCMI is your best companion. I love them all..

For some reason I never gravitated towards the Coco line, Madamoiselle is lovely for sure but Ive always been a Chance, no 5, and Allure girl, although Noir is beautiful! Madam seemed a tad young or something for me! So never went there beyond a five ml, And it is so very popular!
I have recently received a 5ml vial to try out the new Intense and I am quite impressed! It is a comforting scent to me! I wouldn’t call it intense compared to its sister it just resonates at a deeper level! She has a softer voice to Madamoiselle! Eg; an Alto compared to a Saprano! Madamoiselle is certainly higher pitch! If you can compare sound to smell:/an alfaction and auditory interplay between the two! Is how I perceive and can explain the difference! It isn’t intense at all!
Not sure if I’ll go to the next level and purchase a larger bottle just yet! It is tempting though! This really is lovely! Sweet, citrusy, soft, moody, patchouli, rose, vanilla, fruits, Mmmm, Very feminine and definitely a crowd pleaser! Can’t imagine this offending anybody! This could be a go to for everyday use! As it seems perfect in every way<3
Ps :;I agree with the previous reviewer you have to like Patchouli!

I first smelled this in an issue of Cosmo several months back. The original Coco Mademoiselle was never really on my radar before, so I would never have went out of my way to test this version had it not been in the magazine. With a name like “Coco Mademoiselle Intense” I was expecting that this would be too strong or overbearing for my liking. I peeled back the glossy page in the advert anyway and that first whiff took me by complete surprise! It was warm and comforting and spicy and sweet – none of it overwhelming like I would’ve imagined. Shortly after, Chanel was offering free samples of this fragrance by mail via Facebook, so I signed up and got my sample (the cardboard pull-tab one). I used up that sample and considered myself sold.
All summer long, I stay on a fresh-floral kick. I alternate between mostly Chloe EDP, Chloe Love Story, or Chanel Gabrielle. Now that we’re nearing September, I’m starting to crave those creamy, warm, comforting scents. I decided to pull the trigger and purchased the 1.7 oz bottle of this juice. My favorite fall/winter frag is Miss Dior (2017), but I could see myself wearing this one for special occasions or date nights. I did wonder if they were too similar, though (notes of citrus, rose, patchouli), but went for it anyway. It’s Chanel after all.
CMI opens with a burst of citrus (I get mostly orange), then settles down very quickly into the warm tonka, patchouli, and vanilla scent. I honestly don’t get much floral in this at all. Beyond that initial citrus this is ALL about the base. Patchouli definitely dominates here, so if you don’t love patch, stay far away!
If you gravitate towards scents like La Vie Est Belle, Flowerbomb, Black Opium, etc, this is worth testing out. I also have LVEB that I’ve worn off and on for a few years, and I do believe I prefer this one. LVEB, though pretty, manages either to give me a headache or makes me self-conscious with its monster sillage. Despite the “intense” name, CMI feels more wearable, but still offers impressive performance. It lasts a good 8 hours on my skin. Beautiful, classy, sexy.

Darling Coco Mademoiselle went to a rehash of Woodstock 69 where she overdosed in vanilla-patch. She came back with a warm old-soul predisposition and less angular, more rounded features that denounce an over-indulgence in resins, sweet balsams and the more gluttonous pleasures in life. She received the script telling her she was supposed to be a Chanel, but mislaid it. She has taken it to her advantage though, and is looking much better than her two predecessors Gabrielle and L’Eau. In a world upside down, flankers are turning out more interesting than the new launches. It demonstrates an almost pharisaical approach to fragrance from the part of the perfume industry when they pay and capitalize more on the name and celebrity face du jour given to a new launch than the fragrance itself. Since the end of the XIX century it has never been less about innovation. A glossy, carefully contrived array of carbon copies, everything that looks and smells basically the same but what is old becomes new again thanks to blitzkrieg advertising. Excuse the collateral rant, this was actually meant to be a positive review.

I already had this perfumes 5 months ago. After they came crossed to Malaysia. Now, they just left about half of the bottle. First, I can found that the smell like Coco Chanel Mademoiselle, but actually they are not.
This perfume is more to Vanilla scent. I loved it! Because I am a big fan of vanilla!
No more tonka bean scent! Lol
Unfortunately, this fragrance was not long lasting on my clothes (even in cold weather). So, what I did, I always bring this perfume in my bag and spray them again to get back the aroma.
I am quite upset because the price were quite expensive (I bought them about RM650 inclusive GST for 100ml) but not long lasting and poor sillage. By the way, I loved the smell so much!

I’m not eloquent in perfume descriptions, but this is a keeper. I love Coco Mademoiselle, but this even more so. It’s lost it’s in your face floral notes, more patchouli. Darker and dirtier. Love it.

Coco Mademoiselle is one of the most overrated, over-worn, and headache-inducing fragrances that ever existed in modern times. With that said, I received a sample of the Intense version with an online order and it’s less offensive to me than the original. I’d still never wear it willingly, but this Intense version reminds me a bit of a Mugler fragrance, like if Angel, Alien and Womanity came together as one. Still not a fan, but like I said, better than the original Mademoiselle.

    @Meow78
Did you check where your bottle was made ? Chanel made in New York are considerably weaker.
Performance should NOT be an issue with this fragrance.

Very nice. A lot of tame patchouli but it dries down to a vanilla scent. Definitely has Chanel DNA inside it. IMO it works for any season. I get 10 hours out of this one. I don’t think it is as special as Coco or Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche, but it’s still lovely.

  24. :

Wow! I think I’m in love with this scent. This is such a wild ride of a scent. Initial spray is a huge blast of orange citrus and I almost immediately regretted spraying this on but it’s matched with the most delicious patchouli note I’ve smelled in awhile. It’s a serious one-two punch of citrus and also this amazing, earthy, rich patchouli note. Luckily the orange simmers and the patchouli lingers on. I love the patchouli so much, I’d love to see even more in here. Perhaps a Coco mademoiselle intense Extreme edition? 🙂 I get a small dose of the vanilla but I don’t detect a lot of rose or jasmine though they may be getting swept up in the vanilla sweetness. This scent is so yummy. Longevity is great on my skin. I can still detect this the next morning when I wake up.

I can’t remember if I reviewed this already – I’ve had this perfume for a few months now.
Having worn it several times and having first worn CM when it was released in 2003, I don’t think that this is the original formulation repackaged.
The original formulation was very citrussy at the start and was extremely powerful – almost too powerful actually, especially as it was so popular you could smell it everywhere.
This version has the CM DNA especially on the opening (although nowhere near as sharp and citrussy), however when it dries down it smells like a completely different perfume, at least from a distance. Several people have complimented me on it and asked me what it is. Only when they’ve sniffed my wrist have they been able to tell that it’s CM in some form.
If you took the watermelon and Allure element out of Allure Sensuelle and combined it with some of the elements of CM you might end up with CM Intense. Then again, you might not. However it was achieved I think CM Intense is a masterpiece in it’s own right. I hope it doesn’t get discontinued.

    #68
It’s really lovely. There’s just not a whole lot going on here that wasn’t already going on in Coco Mademoiselle pre-reformulation. Or even in the current formulation. The jasmine isnt wispy in this, though, I will say that. Its pleasant from start to finish.

  28. :

    3 out of 5

    Mmmmhmm,
This is not even close to the complexity of the original formulation from years ago!
It is of course better than the regular coco Mad they now sell in stores but I got a spicy almost musky element in the middle stage of the original formula, long passed, that I do not recognize in this nor the regular Coco Mad of today.
I do perceive however a very synthetic patchouli.
In other words it does NOT replace the original from back in the day for me.
However, if one never smelled the original formula one might love this being ignorant of the complex-nature this used to have.

I used to wear Coco Mad edt, about 10 years ago. This is missing the freshness from citrus, but the patchouli is a clean one. There’s a lot of patchouli, with a silky layer of tonka/vanilla on top. It’s more creamy than powdery on me, but still very pretty and delicate. This is a “pull you closer to snuggle in it” scent, but it resonates with me. I think I’ve found my signature. (So hard to find not too strong, not too powdery, not too sweet or food-like, etc. This is beautifully blended and balanced.)
ETA: Not long-lasting on me, and no one else can smell it. (My fiance, who could faintly detect it, said it’s pretty, but not sexy at all. Like an inoffensive office scent that no one would notice.) The edt had way better performance, back in the day. Grrr.

Coco Mademoiselle’s clone. Cleaner, less complicated, with a higher dosage of chemical particles. A step towards replacing natural ingredients with cheap chemicals perhaps? To maximize income. Eh. It is pretty, beautiful as the original Coco Mademoiselle, but I can detect the lack of depth. It’s like the original slightly dirty Miss Dior Cherie and the later clones. Sorry but the son’s mission seems here at Chanel to castrate all the scents. Weird for someone who created the opulent Code etc.

Absolutely Divine, nice and mellow a bit sweet but it envelopes smoothly, the ambery accords with Patchouli, Labdanum and Tonka bean is what makes this Coco mademoiselle intense just right… Love this over the regular Coco mademoiselle, looking forward to an intense version of the Masterpiece COCO CHANEL 1984′ bring it on Chanel! Olivier Polge got this right!

  32. :

I honestly prefer this intense formula to the regular coco mademoiselle. It’s more rounded and mellower. To me it’s sexier and more sensual and less in your face. I can smell more amber in this composition. I have a 50ml bottle and I plan to buy a 100ml bottle soon.

  33. :

My sample for this finally came in the mail. I have to say, I think I do like this one a bit more than the original. It’s a bit more refined. I have half a bottle of CM still, so until it’s used I wouldn’t purchase and no guarantee that I will if and when that runs out. But of the two, I prefer the newer version. Not exactly intense, but it does go a bit deeper into the woods. I like it.

  34. :

    3 out of 5

I always found the original Coco Mademoiselle EDP loud, screechy and obnoxious.
Like that clueless girl trying too hard to be on-trend, popular, and cool, and who you can smell from half a block away.
I groaned when I heard that there would be an intense version of CM released, figuring it would be an amped-up version of what I already found annoying.
Yesterday, I got a free sample of CMI, and was stunned to find I actually liked it!!! It is smoother, rounder, more mellow, and somehow, more diplomatic.
It’s the difference between aggressive and assertive.
On the fence if I would buy a FB of CMI.
I LOVE my pre-reformulated Coco Noir, and I still think that Dior, with its Miss Dior line, does this type of rose-patch combo much better than Chanel.
Edit: Considering buying a small bottle.

Used to own Coco Mademoiselle and I remember I only used it up to half bottle then got bored of it, tried this CMIntense and yes it reminds me of CM, but sharper and as its’ name intense. nah for me.

When I first sprayed this I didn’t think it was something special. But then a little later I started to really like the wafts I was getting from it and I kept sniffing the back of my hand. For me it’s not really intense in terms of sillage and longevity. I never tried original Coco Mademoiselle. But I do understand now why many people find this very appealing. I think it’s very suitable for formal occasions as it smells classy and sophisticated to my nose. That doesn’t fit my personality at all, but I will wear it (from multiple samples I got) every now and then when I’m in the mood for a more ‘serious’scent.

Alright, for my second review, I have a confession to make… So when I tried this perfume, deciding between my flatmates CM and this CMI, it was the day after having minor surgery on my chest to remove a small cyst. Now, because my roomate had the CM version, I sprayed this CMI version liberally… including one spray on my bandages (instinctively I always spray between “the girls”. This was 6 days ago! I’ve worn Narciso Rodriguez Poudree and Tresor Le Nuit and I can STILL smell Coco Mademoiselle Intense throughout the day and specially when I change tops! My bandages come off in a day and I’ve already ordered my 100 ml bottle of CMI!

OMG! My roommate has Coco Mademoiselle and I’ve become obsessed with it! So, today I was about to buy the 100 ml when I stumbled upon the Intense version… I decided not to buy but instead I sprayed both arms, one in each and the Intense is winning! Such a creamy, long-lasting and elegant potion, next to Intense, the EDP version just smells really flowery and linear… I’ve just purchased Coco Mademoiselle Intense online and saved myself over $100!!!
PS: In-store the “Intense” was NZ$385 and on perfume NZ I just purchased for NZ$260!

  39. :

    5 out of 5

I’m not a huge Coco Mademoiselle and Coco Mademoiselle Intense fan. I truly like both scents but I often enjoy them more on other people! They are very sophisticated, feminine, classic, young and romantic. This intense version is a bit warmer and it melts deeper into your skin. I would prefer it during the colder months. On my skin chemistry, it also lasts a lot longer. It’s nice!

  40. :

Mademoiselle Coco has in a mood she has never before experienced. The prominent citrus, rose, and white flowers of her carefree days have transformed into deeper spices and an unapologetic powdery ambiance. Beauty is an asset to life, but it has to be a beauty that is understood, and relatable. The Coco Mlle days of Eve 6, Collective Soul, Marcy Playground, Foo Fighters, Goo Goo Dolls…the days of being Blink 182 Our Own Worst Enemies…those times are gone for good. Their memories linger in the notes of patchouli and rose but they are now nostalgia.Coco is living in an angrier, meaner world, and she has set aside some of her sweetness for strength. She feels older; sometimes too old. Surprised that this is her, now, she has come to this. She is just as beautiful as before, but she is different. She has to be wiser, stronger, and reach out to more. Coco digs down to the desperation of our times, the fears, confusions, and gives us a kick-ass scent to help us tough it out.

  41. :

    5 out of 5

Well, “intense” is a new trend, but it does not always mean “upgrade”.
This version is sharper when I compare it to regular EDP wrist-to-wrist. I get more soap, more fruits that are a bit messy and not appropriate here, as for me.
Yes, it is noticeably stronger, I almost find it intoxicating, but still – a bit shallower. I like the fresh mint note, that is even more prominent in this version, patchouli is still clean and beautiful, so it’s fruit that ruins the whole thing for me.
So, it’s a like, but choosing between this version and regular EDP, I would go for latter.

  42. :

    4 out of 5

For me, Coco Intense is the inverse of my cherished vintage bottle- my love for Mademoiselle is usually in the smooth, creamy drydown but here I’ve fallen head over heels for that first burst of effervescent citrus. There’s a slight soapiness that creeps in within an hour or so but it does fade as the vanilla, patchouli and tonka take centre stage. Definitely worth a punt for fans of the original juice.

  43. :

Definitely all been said – smoother, creamier, without the sharpness of original Coco Mad, and more sex appeal.
I will not run right out to acquire this, but certainly will consider once my Coco Mad is finished.

I loved the original CM EDP from 2001. And was disappointed through the years that CM was changed, diluted and made fresher and sharper! I tried the new EDP Intense and really liked it! It reminds me of the original CM which is smoother. I’m also happy to read that others find that the Intense is like the original. Definitely going to have it!

  45. :

This is Mlle Coco without the head-ache. In the beginning fresh orange, but tonka bean and vanille are following soon. Patchouli remains dominant, but rounded up by these two. Very elegant and claasy kind of patchouli. Maybe too soft for patchouli-addicts.
I think this will be a classic in ages to come.

  46. :

What i love about CMI is that it removed the screechiness that CM opens with, but keeps the nice citrus notes. So on the opening it smells exactly like CM but without the loudness. What I cant stand about CMI is the dry down. on me all I get is powder, a very mature smelling powder that actually reminds me of an avon creme my grandmother use to wear. every now and then I will get hints of coco mademoiselle coming through, but its still stuck behind a thick layer of powder.
I only tested CMI because I wanted to see if I could replace Coco Mademoiselle. With CM I hate the opening and sometimes is nauseating, but I love the dry down. unfortunately intense is a strong no for me.

I don’t care too much for the opening nor the almost-pure patchouli drydown, but the semi-classic chypre middle is amazing!

There is a medicinal and earthy note in this one, I hate it 🙁 It opens with the good old CM notes (yeey, love it), then this medicinal, old man’s cologne note crawls in. It settles into a powdery and super sweet boring nothingness. I expected this perfume to have the original CM’s notes with a bit more sexy and a bit more strong patchouli (like in Kate Moss’ Kate, which I love). The reviews were right, the patchouli in this is minty and earthy. Not something I want to wear…It’s not womanly at all. I know teenage girls will be mad about this, because it’s sugary sweet in the drydown, but I’m very disappointed. I hope Coco Mademoiselle Night or Absolu will come out soon 😛

I was curious to try this one. I feel this Mademoiselle is more playful, in my opinion vanilla improved it a lot. I think it strongly reminds me 2000’s version. I’m glad to be this sexy flirty Mademoiselle back, because latest edition was way too much office appropriate cold and sharp.
I can’t get out of my head it reminds me something from Miss Dior (Cherie) line, maybe because of all these gourmand notes.

This is indeed an intense version of Coco Mademoiselle.
A very pleasing scent just as all perfumes from this line are.
I sense strong patchouli, there is even some bitter green undertone in it.
There’s also some citruses, white flowers, vanilla and tonka bean. All mixed together nicely.
The scent is sensual and warm.
I would prefer the original and the EDT version to it, but it’s a nice fragrance still.

The initial spray is really soapy like a floral hand soap, it’s not a bad smell I like it it’s very clean less citrus and more creamy than the original.

I first bought Coco Mademoiselle EDP when it came out in 2001. I thought it was a beautiful complex fragrance quite unique at a time and people constantly used to ask me what I was wearing. Chanels work so well with my body chemistry unlike some other fragrances that I love on others but simply can’t stand on myself.
Fast forward 17 years and Chanel Coco Mademoiselle is something you can smell on every 3rd woman wearing fragrance (and a few men). I know 8 people who wear it and have nothing to do with each other. In comparison I personally know no one who wears Coco Noir or Allure.
This new Intense version is a bit deeper, more creamy, less citrusy and I prefer it to the original but it has definitely the same DNA as CM EDP. Frankly I do not think to an average nose it smells that different unless you are comparing the samples side by side right after spraying them on when the top notes still shine. Intense is also a touch deeper once it settles as there is more vanilla in the base.
Again I prefer this new version which reminds me more of CM when it first came out many many years ago. Overall it is a lovely fragrance but if you are looking for something unique you need to look elsewhere.

Coco mademoiselle is one of my signature perfume, naturally I bought this one as well. Everything was perfect until the dry down, I’m not sure what it was, it’s kind of smoky/spicy to me which I did not quite like. I’m not giving up just yet, I will give it a few more try for sure. Yes, it is what it says.. intense! I’m impressed.
