The opening smells like a men’s sporty fragrance that I just can’t put my finger on. If any guy with an extensive knowledge of men’s citrusy sporty fragrances smell this please comment on what men’s fragrance this reminds you of. The DNA of Classique starts to emerge after several minutes. I like it. Its fresh but not too fresh. Its a good fresh scent for those powdery fragrance lovers out there.

This is my first classique summer,so I can’t compare it to other summer flankers but in comparison to original classique, there is for sure a common gene between them,if I tested this without knowing it’s name and brand, for sure I’d guess this is a JPG classique flanker, but a lighter, summary, less vanillic, more citrusy sister
It opens with a lemony citrus blast, then citruses calm down a bit and give space to classique’s familiar heart and base, powdery florals(mostly orange blossom& iris)powdery vanilla and musk
This is definitely a clean, fresh summer scent, but is even wearable in early fall..it’s also more wearable and less love/hate in comparison to original classique I guess
Classique summer 2015 is a sheer like for me,I like it’s warm, powdery veil and it’s bright, fresh opening but I don’t love it as I love classique,I also love to have classique bottles in my collection,so a keeper but if I had sampled it first,I wouldn’t buy it
BTW this is not sweet for me
Longevity and sillage aren’t as good as original,it barely lasts four hours on my skin.has a moderate sillage which calms down to a skin scent
If I want to describe it in a sentence I’d say a blend of powdery non-sweet vanilla, soap, lemon and light florals
❤❤❤

Despite all the crap released by this brand nowadays, from time to time Gaultier surprises with some decent variations of their classic scents. This one is elegant, very feminine, yet light and contemporary with a classic feel at the same time. This one really suits elegant women in the summer time.

This is a soft, feminine and subtly sweet scent. It is quite a “safe” scent, nothing extraordinary, but it is so pretty that I can look past that. This morning, I sprayed it on liberally and my co-worker, who is not a big fan of perfume, commented, “Mmm…what smells good? It’s a bit sweet!” On my skin, The top notes are fresh and a bit spicy, while the dry down is a lovely blend of floral and sweet. I’m assuming the sweetness comes from the vanilla, which is detectable from the opening. The scent stays fairly close to the skin, but as skin warms up the sweetness seems to become more prominent and sillage improves. Longevity isn’t great, but I don’t mind re-applying. Overall, a great go-to scent for the office or any day when I’m feeling a bit girly.

Lolita Lempicka Coral Flower amber base and citrus meets Classique with a dash of Alien Sunessence.
Lovely for summer, especially in the evenings. It’s mostly a skin scent, however I got compliments on this scent when I couldn’t detect it on myself anymore, I’m guessing it leaves a lovely, warm cloud of fragrance.
A well done fragrance for summer, I find it to be very charming and ’round’, nothing sharp about this one, soft, powdery-sweet edges all over.

Hi rainbow.owl2: I find them all practically the same. The differences are so subtle (if any). This year’s smells more floral than last year’s (which was citrus-y). I’m not sure if that is of much help.

has anyone tried it yet? I would be very interested in knowing how it compares to the ones issued in previous years…
thanks!
