Not impressive in terms of longevity/sillage but lovely scent all the same.

Looking for a new fragrance for my upcoming wedding, I sent for several samples from Floris. This was the first I tried. It sounded attractive, but it didn’t last on me and, after the initial freshness, it smells sour, which I don’t like. It reminds me of the sort of day perfumes older ladies wore in the 70s.
Definitely not me, I prefer something warmer.
Soulle Ambre tomorrow…

A beautiful, cool and uplifting fragrance. I definitely get the lime pop and then the vanilla, musk, jasmine and osmanthus on the opening. There is a moment when it reminds me of T Mugler Miroir Vanites which I already have and love. There is creaminess from the musk with a touch of sweetness from the vanilla. Gradually the osmanthus fades and you are left with lime, jasmine, musk and a touch of sweet vanilla.
I would say it was very unisex.
I’m perplexed that anyone sees a similarity with the NR. This lovely has plenty of lime to make it unlike another scent.
It lasts a few hours but stays close to the skin for most of the time.
