It is as classified, floral fruity gourmand. You get that fruit salad/powder floral vibe with the sweetness of the praline. This went well with Alarto and Amorito as they had the gourmand vibe. Always got compliments from Men when I wore this, they found it sexy. The way to the heart is through the stomach Ha Ha!

This is a more complex fragrace with berry notes, compared to many others that contain them. I notice that the berries are not listed on this page, but they are definitely there. Chymara is sweet and foody, but with less vanilla, and more fruitiness. Berries smell “red”, ripe, wet, fresh and juicy like the real deal. The drydown is ambery, musky, warm, and sweet. I can’t smell any pineapple and I’m thankful for that. But I do get an impression of wild flowers mingling with the berries and amber. Overall, a beautiful berry fragrance for those who want something a bit more than pure berries.

Discontinued? Oh, no! I finally tried this, too late. It’s a smooth, rounded scent where all the notes blend perfectly without eclipsing each other into a almost body-lotion smooth, with a hint of face powder. Really reminds me of getting made up for a formal night out, while at the same time it’s casual enough to wear to work.

Another one of my favorites, and of course, discontinued, I remember going to The Body Shop and was looking for more, the cashier was so nice, I told her about not finding anymore and she said wait we have a few in the back of the shop, she got the manager and they sold me their last 3 bottles, it was kinda sad eventhough I nabbed a great deal that day, so many years ago now….

I was never a great fan of The Body Shop scents apart from White Musk but gave this a smell along with the others in the set and was istantly drawn to it. Granted I was around 13 at the time and I thought it was a very grown up scent.
I still like the scent it’s a warm scent that I will wear when I don’t feel like doing anything but I only spray it on my wrists or lightly in my hair as it can be quite heady!
It’s a shame it’s not around anymore as even though it’s not a die for scent I will miss it when it’s gone!

After looking at its notes, I find it is quite strange for me to not like it. Fruity, that’s all I can say (which I love very much). Maybe the musk in the base notes which is a big no for my nose. All I can smell when I first sniff right from the bottle is something musky. Or maybe I was a bit dizzy back then? lol

Chymara was one of the better fragrances of this line of products.
I found it to be quite feminine but different from the regular modern “for women” perfumes that pop up every couple of weeks.
Lasting power and sillage were below average, I agree with that, but as this perfume cost £ 4 only, it was affordable to refresh the scent.
I am not able to single out any of the notes as the scent was linear and did not develop into unexpected depths.
I got some fruity and floral notes that were really nice, soft but not sweet.
I guess I would buy another bottle if I could.

Pineapple really dominates The Body Shop CHYMARA, leaving me feeling really sweet and sticky–and thirsty. Or is it that the temperature just hit 99F, “Feels like 102F” (according to weather.com)? It’s days like these which put my anti-airconditioning policy to the test…
Okay, so under the circumstances I cannot fairly evaluate this edt. To make matters worse, I also think that pineapple frags are not really my thing, since they always make me feel sticky–even in the winter!
Although I’m unable to say anything meaningful, having lapsed into a relative state of incoherence, complete with slurred speech, I’d advise even lovers of very sweet fruity florals to try CHYMARA before they buy. Or has it been discontinued? If so, I could say that I know why, but I won’t. Though I did.
Time for a cold, rosemary mint bath!!!!

i don;t get gourmand, nor fruits or flowers, musk & mandarine orange combination is what stands out on me, and i so wanted to get the praline and the fruits, i wouldn’t say that it is like a toilet freshener (not even close) but it sure reminds me a lot of axe 🙂

I agree it’s hit and miss with all perfumes from the body shop.
I only like two White Musk and Vanilla

I think it kind of smells like toilet freshener, but maybe I need to tried it once more. Or maybe it’s better mixed with Zestini…
