I’ve been trying several of the Al Rehab scents. My students tell me I smell like ice cream and pancake syrup. Although this is not a sensual perfume on me, it’s a safe school perfume.

It’s so yummy!! Like drinking chocolate or chocolate a la taza. Plus vanilla.
The first whiff smells cheap, but don’t be put off. Just wear it a second time. Then it smells delicious!!
Do you want to snuggle into bed thinking “I smell so yummy right now!”? Do you want to walk around making ppl think you’ve just spilt Max Brenner hazelnut hot chocolate powder all over you? Do you want to keep questioning whether you’re actually hungry or not?
Then this roll on is for you, my friend!
I tried to layer this with other perfumes with mixed success. The scent it layers best with is Lush Australian Bush (which smells like gum trees and lemon myrtle) which is actually a room spray. (Lush the candle company, not lush the cosmetics one)
Have you ever eaten lemon myrtle chocolate? It’s delicious, yeah?

You’ll be hard pressed to find better value for your money in the entire fragrance world.
The initial few hours are dominated by sweet vanilla reminiscent of some high-end vanilla dominated fragrances (reminds me of Tobacco Vanille to be entirely honest). Coco-puffs arrive after this and carry the scent as it fades, albeit very slowly.
Longevity – The perfume oil variant will NOT leave the substrate sans a good wash. 12+ hours, easy.
Projection – Will fill a room if not applied with caution. Where I’m from, people don’t openly compliment each other on fragrances very often, but this one almost always gets me noticed in a positive way.

A wonderful, simple gourmand. Wear this on an evening you need comfort. People will ask what smells like chocolate cereal and graham crackers. This layers beautifully with cocoa butter lotions.

I don’t get any vanilla or musk, just chocolate. I do get a kind of plastic smell when first applied, but it disappears quickly. I don’t really know where i could wear this.

It smells like a chocolate-scented My Little Pony. And not in a good way.

Ive held off reviewing this because for the longest time I couldn’t figure out where I know the scent from and I finally figured it out… It smells like Vanilla Glade candles from the early 2000s. My aunt would always have one burning in her kitchen to make people think she had been baking. It also smells powdery like cocopuffs or chocolatey pebbles. It sillage is huge for an oil!!! It really is.

Chocomusk is chocolate heaven. It’s a very vanillic chocolately cookie smell, almost verging on Cocoa Pebbles cereal (not a bad thing!) I have the oil which seems pretty concentrated. I tried the trick of mixing it with lotion to rub it all over my body and it lasted from morning til night! I’d love to check out the spray version now, as Al Rehab is (as far as pricing goes) cheap as chips! But quality is A+ Great layering scent to amp up any frag with chocolate notes. Total love!

I ripped open the jiffy bag when Choco Musk landed this morning, confident that this was the beginning of something beautiful… and YES!
Maybe I’m just a musky kind of girl (ha!) but on my skin I get intense vanilla musk with barely any chocolate. a very sexy sweet and woody vanilla musk. And it’s not naturalistic vanilla, more powder-marshmallow vanilla. The little chocolate I get is Galaxy- milky sugary vanilla chocolate, and it’s so subtle, like a silky ribbon running through the potent musky vanilla.
If you let two scoops of vanilla and one scoop of chocolate ice cream melt, then rubbed it into your warm skin, that would provide the top and middle notes of this luscious oil.
From the persistent humming base of musk, I get that dry-woody refined almost-white musk feel. Like Kuumba Made Vanilla Musk but much stronger. I’ll be bulk buying this beauty.
Choco Musk doesn’t project much on me, but has a strength and persistence close to the skin, like a force-field of indulgent sweetness. I rename her Marshmallow Musk, and crown her my favourite Al Rehab!

    This is SO good!
I was getting ready to leave my house because I had some errands and shopping to do. Just before leaving I rubbed Choco Musk oil in the palm of my hand, added some unscented lotion and rubbed it all over my arms, neck and legs then left to go to the store.
As I opened the door to entered the store the wind blew in behind me. I walk past the woman behind the counter by the door and loudly heard “My GOD, you smell AMAZING! You smell like a fresh out of the oven sugar cookie!” Several people and her coworker were all looking my way now. She looked at her coworker and said “Come here and smell her…my GOD!” The coworker told the loud woman at the counter that she smelled me when I walked through the door and that I smelled amazing. She then ask what I was wearing. After the embarrassing red left my face from having the whole small little stores full attention, I told them thank you and that it was called Al-Rehab Choco Musk oil.
I love this roll on oil and will be getting the spray soon. Just not sure if I will be wearing it in THAT particular store again.LOL! I do not smell anything cheap in this at all, it is straight up delicious gourmand!
I wish this was eatable because I sure would have a bowl full of it.
EDIT: I just received the 1.6 oz spray of this and it is just as delicious. There’s lots of it! I don’t have to roll it on, I can now spray until my little hearts content!

Say what you will about this absolutely edible smelling oil; but as a gourmande lover I think it’s perfect! I put this on and walk into a store and heads turn and I get told I smell incredible.I also get asked what I’m wearing.I enjoy smelling like dessert,so this is a hit.On my skin it’s a pillowy soft cloud of vanilla and chocolate, tempered by a light musk that doesn’t take center stage but instead makes a lingering appearance at the end.I can detect this after 24 hours so it definitely works with my chemistry.Great price, sillage and portability in the oil form.

    Delicious ingredients.
100% recommended for men and women.
    One of their house gems.

Smells like a bowl of Cocoa Puffs and musk! Very gourmand yet still skin-like. Needs some time to sink in and blend with the skin, but it’s very nice once it does.

This smells exactly like hot chocolate to me. I can’t detect the musk note at all. It’s pretty good on its own but I prefer to layer it with other products with vanilla-type scents.

I’m slightly confused reading the reviews on this one. To me this smells like a very cheap chemical chocolate plastic. It reminds me of childhood with cheap plasticky things that were so say chocolate, like scented pens, bubbles, those plastic food items like a little cooked chicken, kids makeup. I smelled this a lot in my childhood and it takes me right back to the 90s cheap plastic toys, toys r us and drugstores.

A whiff of this gave me a distinct flashback to when I was living in Toronto last summer and would frequent Ed’s Real Scoop in Leslieville, a really great homegrown ice cream store. I’m standing in a packed line in the store, the warm and sticky with sweat, with the store filled with the sweet aroma of the waffle cones being made fresh.
Fresh waffle cones–this is what I get right away. The chocolate isn’t as noticeable as I thought–in fact, it was tricky for me to locate it until about 4 hours in, when the caramel/cotton candy/vanilla calmed down a bit. Bear in mind, this vanilla/caramel/cotton candy is incredible–a gourmand in a very real sense of the term, it smells EXACTLY like waffle cones being made in my opinion. I’m a bit surprised, since I was preparing myself for the worst case scenario of a sticky musky tootsie roll. I would have thought this is ‘Soft’, since I’ve heard that has the dominant vanilla/cottoncandy notes. But I get the hint of spice in Choco Musk. The musk shows up, but after a couple hours in, wrapped up with the chocolate.
I would have liked more chocolate in my opinion, but I’m really happy with this as it is. It’s more of a ‘real’ baked good scent than my Outremer Vanille, which has surprised me quite a bit. That is, the Outremer does smell less spiced and sweet, but it’s still a great scent.
I picked up my Choco Musk for ~5$ and I think this is an incredible deal. Perfume roll-on oils aren’t my favorite application method, but it does stay on for hours and hours and will make you crave waffle cones (A con if you’re trying to kick sugar like me haha).

I blind bought several Al-Rehabs based on reviews here and only like two of them so far — Choco Musk and Soft.
Choco Musk is delicious, light, and very milk chocolatey! It does smell like a sweet chocolate cake mix or sweet drinking cocoa powder. I rolled plenty on both my wrists and rubbed them together as I found it fairly weak otherwise. I’m personally happy that I do not detect any musk! I also detect a hint of gentle vanilla.
I tried layering it with Soft but it got hidden as Soft is so potent.
Basically, this is wonderful and I can’t stop smelling my wrists.
I wish Al-Rehab made other scents like this. I’d love a natural coconut one, or apricot vanilla. Based on what I’ve seen with Soft, it is possible, but they don’t seem to offer it.
I also bought Hawaii, Elena, Grapes, Nebras, Green Tea, Fruit, Fantastic and threw them all in the trash as I found them vile and very strong, chemical-smelling and artificial.

My signature scent. I buy 6 packs of roll on oil at a time.
I love vanilla and this is definitely vanilla based.
It just smells of melted milk chocolate, no bitterness about it, a sweet vanilla concoction but in a lovely way. It is quite an adult scent despite the description and I always am complimented. Total strangers sniff the air and ask what that wonderful scent is!!!
If you love vanilla type perfumes, at the price you can try it very cheaply. I am sure you will love It!!!!
    ❤❤❤❤

I want to eat my own arm right now. I smell like a freshly whipped bowl of chocolate cake batter. This is delicious, it is almost a crime how gourmand this is, I’m not sure whether I’m hungry for food or fragrance at this point. And with how affordable this is? Forget the no-buy, I’m picking this gem up.

This is a review for the oil. This oil puts to bed the debate as to whether perfume oils project or not. Try this and you will know that they indeed do, and very well! A mouth watering gourmand at a silly price. The main note I get from this is vanilla, followed by chocolate and musk. It’s a very warm fragrance so that must be the amber. Performance on this is excellent. I get 12+ hours longevity with 3+ hours of projection. Sillage is strong. At the price of a few euro you can afford to blind buy and you won’t be disappointed if you are a gourmand lover!
*Don’t be afraid to put this on your clothes to increase performance!*

Chocolate, vanilla, sweet, cacao, cocoa butter, cookies, cake, cupcakes, pancakes, pastries….this is what Choco Musk smells like.
Incredible, and yet does not smell “juvenile” at all. It is warm, rich, comforting and every single time I wear this I get asked what I am wearing or people will randomly come up and tell me how incredible I smell. I use the roll on oil.
Inexpensive, lasts for hours and hours but does not project huge. I cannot imagine anyone not liking or loving this! Highly recommended!
Sometimes I will put this on before my Mugler Angel, and this really amps up the Chocolate in Angel, that is now much less after reformulations!

i love this i love it so much! i’ve been looking for a perfume that smells exactly like this for so long and i’ve only been let down until now. starts out like a nice milky cup of hot chocolate, then it becomes a beautiful chocolate marshmallow dream. it’s very strong too and lasts quite a while on me! i love this stuff more than anything, so cheap too. if you want a lovely milk chocolate scent topped with marshmallow, this is for you!

This is a beautiful Chocolate-y scent. It is an excellent oil to layer with other gourmand scents. I find that it has really good longevity (six hours before turning into a skin scent) I highly recommend this because it is budget friendly and definitely worth a try. FYI – I have layered it successfully with –
Avon Extraordinary, Sarah Jessica Parker Covet, and Aquolina Chocolovers

If I have to sum this fragrance up… I would call it “Bodega in a Bottle.” Now I’m sure one would ask themselves, “Why would I want to smell like the cereal and pastry aisle at my local convenience store?” Rest assure that this fragrance captures this allure in the most positive of aspects and so much more. There is something very inviting about this scent that just cannot be explained. Those around you who are fond of creamy cocoa butter-esque aromas will be delighted to be in your personal space.
I purchased the roll on and the spray and both smell very similar. I do not detect much difference, if any, between the two. Even though the roll-on is an oil the spray performs equally as nice in parfum form. I mean beastly projection, no exaggeration. I’d advise owning both due to versatility.
On another note (no pun intended), this fragrance truly compliments other creamy gourmands. I’ve layered this with frags such as Play Intense and Rochas Man (thank me later!) and the aroma is that of a coffee house bomb. Simply unique and amazing!
Like many I was skeptical of this fragrance, but wow… it has exceeded my expectations. Nothing this pleasant and effective should be had at this value. This one is a winner and this is coming from a person whose praises are not easily garnered!

Finally able to have this fragrance.
Starts a bit too soft, but the smell becomes stronger (in a good way) after 30 minutes. For me, it smells like a hot chocolate you drink when relaxing.
If you want to have an affordable chocolate fragrance, this is recommended.

    Meh…..
It is “kinda” chocolatey, and “kinda” musky…. very faint, very soft, very…meh. This is in no way on the level of Chocolate Greedy. By far the best clean chocolate is Fresh Orange Chocolate and everything else pales in comparison.

I wish this one was stronger, better longevity, better sillage. It is a chocolate lovers dream. It really makes me smile. Certainly smells good enough to eat. It is a lot of fun in a little roller ball bottle. It would be beautiful as a room scent as well.

Sometimes in life, all we want is more
More richness, more pleasure, more desire, more luxury, more chocolate. We need not justify this – it is undeniable. It is universal. It is human.
Sometimes, we want the gourmand that redefines gourmands. We want the chocolate fragrance that actually smells like chocolate. We want the richness, the smoothness. We want a creamy fragrance that is… exactly as creamy as it meant to be.
Choco Musk is exactly what it’s meant to be. Unapologetically loud, proud, beautifully, luxuriously, deliciously, decadently creamy vanilla heavenly dessert. Imagine the distilled essence of Nigella Lawson, bottled in a Saudi Arabian oil-based roll-on.
This is not a ‘petite’, slight, vague or ambiguous vanilla milk chocolate concoction. This is an unmistakable, undeniable vanilla milk chocolate. It radiates and lasts all day.
This fragrance is not for those who do not know what they want. Those who waver, are unsure, uncertain and indecisive should stay away.
This fragrance is for those who know exactly what they want. For those who want… more.

Wow- I was on the fence about whether or not to order Choco Musk, but I’m glad that I did. I love gourmands, but it was disheartening to read that this isn’t a “real” chocolate scent. Never fear! While it doesn’t smell like opening a chocolate bar, Choco musk is a soft, lovely, cuddly dream.
I agree with other reviewers on the assessment that it smells like hot cocoa mix with marshmallows. When I first put some on, I had a flashback to eating Lucky Charms cereal as a kid. There is a lot of marshmallow here. After about 10 minutes, it begins to dry down into soft vanilla. You don’t get a huge punch of chocolate from this, but it adds some depth to the vanilla.
Moderate sillage and lasts at least 5-6 hours- after 8 hours, mine was still detectable close to the skin.

My 2nd Al Rehab fail, but this time due to my preference. I don’t think I’m enjoying sweet like a food smell. Not my cup of tea.
At first the choco and musk tried to fight for the no.1 scent, afterwards they realize it takes two to tango…. Hence, they start to compliment each other.
Not loving it, not hating it, not liking it.

Finally tried this today – purchased the roll-on from one of my favourite sellers on eBay. I was so excited to finally try Choco-Musk after reading so many positive reviews, but it’s not for me.
I like the initial blast – you do indeed get a milk chocolate and cookie vibe, but on my skin it quickly settled into strong musk, and that kills it for me. I’m sorry to say, and I don’t mean to offend, it smells quite cheap to me. And it is a steal, at $3.69 for the roll-on. However, if you love the scent, the projection was actually quite strong, and it was all I could smell as I was driving. It’s also incredibly long lasting.
I must also agree with the comment below me that in no way does this compare to Chocolafe Greedy. No way; they are on totally different playing fields.

  37. :

    4 out of 5

Every time I read the reviews for this oil I feel like I’m participating in some sort of conformity experiment. No, this is not in any way, shape or form similar to Chocolate Greedy, nor is it a vanille-gourmand-chocolate bomb. This is a faint, watered-down, hardly there, weak scent with no projection whatsoever. Yes, it’s sweet in a remotely chocolate-y way, but there is a world of difference between this and Montale, or any mainstream designer gourmand for that matter. Yes, it’s cheap, but not worth even a couple of quid. I’ve had both the oil and the spray – the latter is even weaker and even more fleeting. I bought mine from a trusted ebay seller, which is how most people in the UK get it, so I doubt it’s a fake, but who knows. A hard pass.

Choco Musk : Im a huge dark chocolate cookie. I am delicious and dark. I am also gonna leave a sweet aftertaste that is gonna make you want more. I induce serious cravings if you let me. Youre gonna let me do that cause im easy and cheap and too good.

Roll-on oil here. Drydown: sweet milk chocolate, waffle, vanilla ice cream. A bit boozy, a bit like rum or cough medicine. Delicious.

Really a steal for the price, if sweet edible gourmands are your thing. Vanilla-heavy chocolate cookies, sweet and safe. I get no underlying spice.

  41. :

I didn’t like this at first. It wasn’t bad, just “I won’t dare to go out smelling like I spilled hot cocoa on me and didn’t bother to wash”.
But with the colder months I was craving for something comforting. Tried this again and was surprised it wasn’t sticky sweet anymore. I’ve sniffed over and over and I know it smells familiar. I realized that, to me, it smelled like VS Vanilla Lace. Not an exact copy, just that sweet, kind’a burnt vibe. Vanilla lace was my first love in fragrances, being all I could afford when I just started earning my own money. That said, I haven’t owned Vanilla Lace for years now, so I could very well be wrong, but props for the memoris this cult favorite brought back to me.
Edit: this little fella excels in layering. Layer it with a cheap body spray, or a bombastic perfume like Angel, and it makes them way bter

My package arrived today and I wasn’t planning to test this until later, but some of the fragrance must have leaked on my fingertips when dismantling the package and I found myself catching wafts of warm, fresh churros dusted in cinnamon sugar and dripping with melted high quality chocolate; absolutely delicious and extremely potent for the price.

I have around 20 or so perfumes and this is the only one my boyfriend has complemented me on ha, he said it smells delicious. It’s my cheapest perfume also! I have the oil version so it does last quite a while. I like to layer it with lveb for a sweet candy scent .

I’d dismissed Al-Rehab after testing Dalal and Soft and finding them too synthetically sweet and “unperfumelike” for my taste, but someone sent me a 3 ml rollerball of this Choco Musk as an extra in a swap, and who can resist chocolate? Not me, not even after having tested several other (and much more expensive) chocolate scents and being disappointed by most of them: they have a tendency to go very smoky on my skin, even tending towards barbecue sauce. So my expectations were pretty much zero, which was probably a good thing, since it meant I got more than I thought I would.
Sure, it’s pretty synthetic-smelling for most of it’s development: more like chocolate syrup than chocolate itself. And sure, it’s not a serious perfume at all; I don’t think I’d ever wear this out of the house. Also, I actually would have preferred it if it were even simpler; the slight spicyness that the other notes bring to the scent is no plus in my book. But! No smoke effect for me with this one, and it does smell nicely chocolatey overall.
So I do like Choco Musk, and contrary to my expectations, I’m going to keep it around for when the craving for chocolate hits, or maybe for layering. And maybe I won’t dismiss Al-Rehabs on sight anymore.

After several months without using my choco musk I’ve tried it today ( we are in winter here in the UK).
This time smelled so much stronger than ever before. Is like I have been surrounded by chocolate cookies which is not a bad thing.
Obviously I would normally layered with another fragrance but I’ve tried alone just to see if had any progress on the performance and yes, certainly have!
Much stronger choco cookie smell to it with better silage as well.
Just to add that I can still smelled on me 10 hours after applied.

I was looking for an alternative for the discontinued Sephora Chocolate body spray, and I found one! The price here is even better (Sephora cost 5€/5ml, Al-Rehab is 5€/18ml spray). It’s pretty straightforward chocolate+vanilla, I don’t get any rose or spice. It smells a bit chemical at first (like chocolate-flavoured aroma), but it becomes more natural after 30 min. The longevity is very good, 10+ hours. On clothes, it lasts until the next wash.
The only thing is I’d try the oil form next time. I don’t like the spray itself: it’s a sort of weird flat plastic thingy which sprays in a random direction. I also hope that the oil would smell richer and a bit more natural.
I’ll try layering it with something else, maybe a mono rose body spray to still get the promised chocolate+rose effect.
UPD. I tried layering it with Lush Rose Jam, but Lush is a bit overwhelming for it, it kills everything with its projection. 🙂 I also layered it with Yves Rocher Moment de Bonheur (rose+patchouli), and it turned out nice.

Yum. I love this stuff! I had it about a yr ago,and gave it to a friend!well,I ordered it again and boy is it ever scrumptious! Lots of longevity and sillage. Smells like sweet Cocoa Puffs and musky chocolate goodness.❤️❤️

This juice is delicious! It has a strong chocolate top note and dries down to a warm, spicy vanilla musk on my skin. It lasted between 6-8 hrs. If you have dished out the big bucks for a chocolate scented perfume, you have missed out! This stuff delivers for a fraction of the price of the big name frags. I got it on Amazon for $3.95! I plan to check out several more from this house. Save your hard earned money and buy this jewel! It was a blind buy for me, and I’m thrilled!

I wore this only one day to work and all were asking each other in Office that who is baking vanilla cake or who bought cake to Office. It smelled very heavenly vanilla, chocolatee. This roll on oil really does its job well.

I wear this every day from the roll on, which, I buy 6 bottles at a time!!!! On me it smells like gorgeous melted milk chocolate. It is definitely a vanilla based scent, musky, which, apart from heavy, spicy scents, I love. It stays all day and people in shops often ask what the beautiful chocolate smell is. Lol. It is a very “sweet” scent, spillage is moderate and longevity great.
There is no such thing as a good or bad perfume. Each scent smells slightly different on each individual and personal taste has a great deal to do with it.
I think I have only one associate who does not like this fragrance but, my taste is very different to hers so, each to their own!!!
Love it or hate it, it is becoming a classic and, at the price, even if you go off it…..you have not lost £100!!!!
    Definitely underrated.
I wear All Haramain Forever to bed and Samsara or Obsession to go out so you know my taste!!!!

not as amazing as these reviews make out ,it doesn’t last very long on me ,and i can only smell it if i sniff where i sprayed it ,not as powerful as soft by al-rehab , if i cant find a better choco fragrance i will repurchase but i’m still on the hunt.

September batch 2017, spray and rollon both smells super weak. Either bad batch or reformulated.

This is such a delicious, sweet and true chocolate scent for the first few hours and then it unfolds into a Mexican cocoa, sweet and spicy.
I layered this with Tokyo Milk Bittersweet until my bottle of that ran out and now I wear Choco Musk on it’s own.
This creamy cocoa beauty is wonderful and, as is the case with all Al-Rehab roll-on oils it is an absolute steal at under 4 dollars.

I was worried this would smell cheap, synthetic, overly foody and very musky, but it’s the most delicious creamy, rich milk chocolate scent. Very gourmand but extremely wearable on a cold day. I don’t get a lot of musk. It’s gorgeous. My new favourite. It seems like a fragrance that almost anyone will love.
Layers beautifully with Paco Rabanne Black XS pour Elle to really play up the chocolate note.

First of all, this is a review of the EDP spray, NOT the roll on.
Take the aroma from Nestle’s Lion Bar Cereal, mix it with a slight whiff of soggy Nestle Coco Pops, sprinkle some sexy. BAM! You have Al Rehab Choco Musk.
I have been wearing Thierry Mugler Pure Malt for some time now during Winter as my go to “Chocolate” scent when THIS has been sitting right infront of me the whole time.
My bottle of Pure Malt is going on sale immediately as this is way cheaper & in my opinion, more impressive.
P.S. Even if you don’t like this scent, it will look cool as f**k on your fragrance shelf.

At first I did not like this perfume as much as I like now. I think the season is to blame. Autumn and winter is the perfect season for this fragrance.
Everything that is said about this is true. Smells like cocoa cereals and hot milk. Delicious!!!

A friend of mine left a tissue sprayed with Choco Musk in my bookshelf. It took me a day or two to realize what smelled so damn good! Today, same lovely friend, gave me a bottle of it!
This must be one of the best choco-scents on the market, so sweet, rich and spicey. Almost boozy vanilla chocolate in front and cinnamon, spices and dry sandalwood in the background. Perfection.
This is my new comfort-scent, taking over first place from Aquolina Pink Sugar..

This smells divine! The best chocolate scent that I personally have ever smelled. So warm and comforting like a cup of hot chocolate. I will be buying a backup for sure. I love this for home after a hot shower to get comfy in bed I will wear this. I’m starting to really like foodie scents more than I thought at least and this is a gem! Chocolate, vanilla, spicy, warmth, just such a good fragrance. I’m so happy I found this on here because I’ve been wanting to add more gourmands to my fragrance arsenal. This is a great addition and for 5$ you really can’t beat it. I ordered more al rehabs because these little bad boys are great. Affordable and just a delightful scent.
