Description
The new eponymous eau de parfum by Chloe is quite a departure from the once-popular tuberose composition of the same name. A light and fresh yet seductively strong and self-possessed scent, the new Chloe fragrance is in no way its predecessor’s timid younger sister.
Just like all Chloe’s bold, arty and free-spirited designs, the fragrance is feminine in a rather non-traditional, not all-out-girly way. Its accords expertly play against each other and they seduce the audience by being both elegant and daring at the same time.
The fragrance is very versatile, it is intended for everyday use and is more than suitable for becoming someone’s unique signature scent. Chloe edp was launched in 2008.
Chloe Eau de Parfum was created by Amandine Clerc-Marie and Michel Almairac.
Saahov – :
This is the most nostalgic perfume I know because of how much I wore it as a teenager. I remember how long it lingered on me and how strong it was, so longevity and sillage will not disappoint! Everybody told me I smelled good. I got more into perfumes and kind of distanced myself from Chloe. Now I brought my old signature back to my life and I love it even more. Chloe is truly beautiful, clean and sweet at the same time. In my opinion, this perfume can be worn anytime! Any season. You will smell like an angel with Chloe. ‘Sexy innocence’ is what this scent is to me.
tuklebik – :
Chloe is synonym of clean. It has something vintage in composition, reminds me old school talcum powder. Everyone mentions rose, but for me it’s potpourri of peony and magnolia petals. On sunny days it’s very refreshing. But I know people who get easily annoyed by powdery accords, just like Chanel 5, this is not everyone’s favourite.
saubera – :
I really enjoy clean and soapy scents. I also like rose perfumes. But i really cant stand Chloe EdP. To me this does not smell soapy or particulary rosey. Chloe is a rather heavy powdery scent. To my nose its very obnoxious. I guess that is the Chloe-DNA. It smells like the mixed roses with oranges and put cedarwood on top. I would not recommed to blind-buy it.
Well at least not if you dont like cedar in your perfumes.
rad921 – :
This is so fresh that it’s TOO fresh. It sticks in the back of the nose and throat like a strong smelling spray cleaner. It has nothing to temper the high pitched florals to make it more palatable. Not my cup of tea. Roses de Chloe is a better balanced option in my opinion (still not my favorite though.)
Petrosian – :
I do very much like this perfume, but i don’t love it. Beautiful rose smell that isn’t overpowering but has excellent sillage and longevity. It’s very, very clean smelling, yet also feminine which is a rare combination in my opinion. A very nice day perfume option. Could be better, but thats just my personal opinion. Very nice scent.
EgikTyman – :
Beautiful, elegant, soapy floral. Reminds me a lot of the drydown to Tory Burch. Pretty & Fresh!
Accegehib – :
Its good for everyday fragrance at work. Its a soapy scent. It also last a long time. Very feminine

dear women please wear this fragrance is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!
vovka_93 – :
This is such a clean, beautiful, classy perfume.
I don’t have it but I appreciate it so much, it’s just not really my style at the moment.
Also my bestfriend wore this everyday in highschool so in my brain this scent is forever connected to her. When I moved across the country, I’d spray this every time I went to Sephora to remember her more “vividly”.
Lokos – :
I’m about ten years behind the bandwagon on this fragrance, but boy is it lovely! It’s so bright and sparkling. I mainly smell fresh, dewy roses and peonies. This lasts quite a while too. I’m not sure I would have appreciated it when it first came out, but I love this now.
lqx356speagoessenda – :
Waooo what a beautiful fragrance wear it n feel so special ❤️
Serega16V – :
Chloe pink ribbon….. From what I can remember this is the one! Musky Old Rose scent which dries down to a delightful smoky rose. Sexy and lovely.
ujh772intitytek – :
Pleasant , but somewhat generic and over priced floral . The bottle is classy , but the original Lagerfeld Chloe has much more warmth and depth . This seems rather watered down in comparison. .
vigreb – :
sugary canned lychee. that’s all i got.
leva1994 – :
This review is based on a manufacturer sample of the EDP.
The description up top amuses me, calling the Lagerfeld version of Chloe this fragrance’s “timid older sister” and says this one is “non-traditional” and “daring.” I haven’t smelled the original Chloe to compare, but this one seems pretty timid to me.
It’s light, fresh, uncomplicated. I smell rose and, I think, freesia and LOTV? (I can’t really bring the scents of those flowers to mind but the descriptions I read seem to match the fresh, soapy, sharpness I’m observing.) I don’t get any litchi in the top notes and I can’t really detect any of the base notes either. Very linear–it has smelled exactly the same since I first sprayed it an hour ago. I think if I could smell the litchi, or the honey that a lot of reviewers mention, I would like this fragrance a lot more. All I get is a screechy clean floral scent that, when I sniff too directly, kind of hurts my nose. To me it smells like a floral scented cleaning product in a way that I don’t enjoy, but I can’t say that I hate it, either. Maybe it’s too generic and boring?
At the same time it does smell very classy, and I can see how the crisp, clean scent would appeal to a lot of people. It strikes me as youthful while also being polished and professional–a younger woman’s school/office scent? The bottle also perfectly reflects the classy vibe, which I appreciate.
Edit: another hour has passed and I’ve done some dirty household chores. Have washed my hands 5+ times and used hand sanitizer, and the Chloe is still there. Fainter, but still the same smell loud and clear. A lot of the reviews talk about longevity, but damn it’s really stuck on my skin!

I love this SO much that I had to write about it again! I have currently at least 150 nice perfumes in my collection. I love variety and am a fan of many different types of scents. THIS EDP Chloe (and Chloe New) is by far my all-time favorite of all. For years I never bought it because just smelling it on paper did not even spark my interest. It was not until I actually WORE it on my skin that the magic happened. I literally LOVE every detail and every beautiful clean rose soapy note. It smells so good on my skin that it is breathtaking. The strange part is that since I discovered how much I love the edp, I literally purchased every Chloe that is rather current and they are all LOVES to my nose and all work with my chemistry beautifully. Chloe EDT, roses, absolu, intense, fleur, leau, love, love story, love story eau sensuelle, see, ALL work for me. I wish I could go back in time a couple years and learn how great this line is from the start. I tend to only wear my different Chloe perfumes now and the rest just sit. I could have saved myself a TON of money. My second favorite (aside from edp) will have to be Chloe See. My LEAST favorite, which I am really sad about, is Nomade. I bought a Huge bottle of it and it smells like red peppers and pepper on my skin. Anyone interested in trading or buying big bottle of Nomade for less than fragrancenet.com please make an offer. It is literally the only Chloe i have not loved.
Pors – :
Pleasant and inoffensive, this perfume smells like a bouquet of flowers, fresh laundry, and a clean house. A good choice for the work place or in public so long as you don’t over spray it. It smells crisp and classy.

I was comparing between this one and the new Nomade …guess what this one win it’s so romantic and white perfume a
Relaxxx – :
This review is for the 2008 way de parfum. Blind buy, but the bottle was so pretty it should be a piece of my perfume wardrobe. With that bottle I expected a classic rose-ambery scent, soft, demure and comforting but it’s a powerhouse my skin turned into a screeching, cloying and artificial scent…waste of money on a headache inducing full size flacon! I couldn’t stand it, so it’s been laying on the back of a cabinet for years. But I’ve rediscover and begun to appreciate it’s features… I was living in a warmer climate when bought it, Spain summer temperatures can spoil some fragrances, and I think that was the case. But I’ve rescued rescued my tarnished bottle and started wearing again. It’s not and will never be one my favourites, but it’s perfect for work. It is not and intrusive, cloying scent, it is very clean, uncomplicated and comfortable. Sillage is very good and longevity is enormous, still potent after a long 12 hour shift in a busy hospital ward, one of the best longevity in a fragrance I’ve ever experienced. Rose, freesia and cedar are the only notes my nose can pick but it’s a very uncomplicated, linear composition, perfect if you like to keep a low profile, smell inoffensive and expensive. Definitely not a love, but its suitability for any occasion and the monstrous longevity so rare in these days, deserves my admiration. Well done Chloe!
partizanFM – :
Clean, fresh, and inoffensive. Reminds me of floral scent soap. I feel clean all the day! I smell note of lychee at the beginning, and the rest is all floral notes.
Typically young woman who use this.
Monah2 – :
A VERY sharp rose which smacks down every other note. Stay far far away if roses aren’t your thing; too one note and strident for me.
I cannot believe that 2 rose flankers exist for this- Seriously? How? Why?
Сергей225 – :
Very light and fresh fragrance! Smells like roses! Thousands of roses! If you like roses, this is for you! I say any age can rock this perfume!
Xeroxrbbhg – :
A very interesting parfum that has caught me off guard. I can’t quiet pin down final thoughts on Chloe; because it seems to have a life of it’s own!
All at once she is mountain spring water, almost harsh in her sharpness. This fades, and a mysterious underlay settles in; thick yet sweet filling the air. The longer it wears, the more it melds with one’s natural scent, changing profiles yet again.
End notes lean to Amber, distant water, with just hints of rose. This is a piece for the person who is comfortable in her skin; she takes the room quietly and confidently, she holds her own.
This parfum is both warm and subtle, dense yet light. A seemingly impossible combination, and Chloe pulls it off.
zyg288Unlogrere – :
Light and inoffensive. I ended up with a zillion samples, and have been wearing them on travel for work, when I don’t want to have too strong a presence.
lach – :
I have read somewhere that certain areas and cultures enjoy the scent of laundry detergent and soap. I don’t belong to it because I grew up in pretty much cold climate zone. These types of perfumes doesn’t work there.
I tried Chloe in summer too, it’s even funny how after ten minutes I ran to wash it off, it felt like I am inhaling washing powder from the pack or antiperspirant dust. I never enjoy it on other people either. I had two coworkers wearing it and both times I had nausea. Maybe they have overused it, because Chloe is sort of light-fresh-inoffensive? I don’t know. I could say it has strong rose and musk combination, nothing too complicated. But there’s something that triggers my nerves, my family can’t stand it either.
enriki999 – :
NEVER make this weaker! This is one of the few modern scents that stays and stays. Hey, anyone that finds it too strong could use the tiniest bit. Me, I prefer getting a lot for what I am paying for (and this aint cheap). This continues being a true beauty: Cold rose/peony/magnolia and litchi with the clearest and softest lily of the valley that makes the juice bright, but never sour. Its one of the brightest, clearest fragrances I know and it never goes out of style. I don’t think it is possible to wear this without having someone telling you how great you smell. Oh, and the litchi is like a more tropical strawberry- sweet, juice and perfectly balanced with the rose.
Aleksandr-Business – :
This perfume smells SO incredible…but omg is it strong. So strong that I can’t even wear on a normal basis. One tiny spritz is enough to engulf you in a tsunami of scent.
However, the smell IS to die for. Very clean and fresh…a great “after shower” scent. BUT ugh please make it a tiny bit weaker…
abrek-macahet – :
I own this perfume, received as a gift. I fell in love with the rose but it quickly fades out, disappointingly. This is a powerful perfume and a little goes a long way…6+ hours for me. This perfume will always be special to me; I wore it on my wedding day. Side note: I find the body lotion to be really, really nice. It’s warmer and less outspoken than the perfume, if you will.
andrey1407 – :
As my other half absolutely hates Chloe EdP and I was never a huge rose fan, I’ve never considered getting this fragnance for myself. However, I must say, this juice is super ‘sticky’ – once you pick up and smell the bottle, rest assured, you’ll feel it in your nose and all around you for quite while! In my view this perfume is very popular in the UK – since the sillage is very recognisable I tend to get whiffs of it on the streets every so often. Or is it *exactly* because the sillage is so recognisable?..
I thought I’d leave this observer’s review here, as it may be helpful to know how others percieve this fragrance. And just as a quick side note – if you like Chloe EdP, please don’t wear it on a plane!
ark03 – :
This scent makes me crave it, as in I feel like I want to eat it. I can’t explain it. It doesn’t smell like food or even delicious but something in it affects me and I love it.
Chacki – :
I owned a bottle of this perfume from 2016-2017 but had to pass it on as I began to hate the scent. It is very strong and a little too in your face, I initially loved the smell of it on my friend so I tried it on and decided I would buy it for myself. The rose scent is strong but it also has a tangy note, which is what I first liked about it. I find it to be much too strong to enjoy.
ENIN – :
Overated! Over Hyped! Disappointed! I regret blind buying it! To me this is not a perfume! It is a liquid soap for clothes in a rose scent or air freshner but put into a perfume bottle! If you like to smell similar to liquid soap for clothes in a rose scent then this will be your type!
Rzldcxtnq – :
Powdery flower power. I finally grasped all the hype about Chloe when I spent a few weeks in Paris. I met many ladies who wore this fragrance & it made me understand its “aura” better. Elegant, charming, rich but light, with undeniable esprit. A perfect fit for someone who loves life & adores femininity and elegance. Chloe is an embodiment of French lifestyle & life attitude – it´s sophisticated, vivacious & splendid.

I have recently (in the last year or so) started building a massive collection of beautiful fragrances basically looking for my signature scent. I love fresh and clean smells and I don’t know why I waited so long to try this one. SO glad I opted for the large bottle when I made this blind purchase.
It is truly the most beautiful and perfect smell of anything I have ever experienced in my life. It is an understatement to say that I am in love with it.
I love the mild soapy rose always persistent in the background and the longevity is better than all others. It projects sufficiently and is also subdued enough to wear to an office.
After doing much research on Chloe, and thank you all for your help, I decided to find Chloe L’eau and Chloe De Roses and purchase those as well. I will write those reviews soon. The L’eau was expensive and hard to find. All of my fragrance purchases are blind buys bc I live in a valley of a mountain in the middle of WV. No shopping. Literally no shopping here.
If it was not for you other members of this wonderful site, I believe I would have made some mistakes. Because of the thoughtful reviews and help on here, I have not bought one that I would consider unwearable. This one though is tops.
xprof85 – :
@Wascotransportation the original Chloe dates back to the 70’s when Karl Lagerfeld was creative director of House of Chloe. It was a tuberose composition and has since been discontinued although you can still find it on the internet.
Chloe New (square bottle) was launched in 2012 and is a rose floral fragrance. Smells nothing like the original Chloe.
On the upper left corner of this page, click on Chloe and it will take you to a page that lists all the perfumes launched by this house some of which have been discontinued. It is there you can click on the old Chloe to see its fragrance notes as compared to what you see here with Chloe new.
My advise though is to try it out on your skin first before purchasing. Hope this helps.

I worried that my sample of Chloé would be just like the collection of powdery “designer” fragrances I’ve sampled and discarded in the past: the disappointing Marc Jacobs: Decadence, YSL Mon Paris, “Dolce,” and “Flowerbomb”. It didn’t help that the little cardboard booklet the sample came in had “powdery floral” printed in block letters. But, I still tried it. And they lied. The perfumers lied. Why would you try to sell a perfume as powdery when it ISN’T POWDERY? There is not an ounce of powder in this scent, for which I am very grateful! However, I have trouble detecting many of the notes listed besides rose (maybe cedar and peony, too). All I did was spray my wrist, and it’s as if I showered in rose petals. It’s the purest rose scent I’ve ever smelled, and… almost aquatic! If you love roses, and don’t want to smell like your grandma’s bathroom freshener, then there’s no reason to pass this up.
EDIT: I wore this again recently (my sample’s dwindling – oh no!), and the rose still had that refreshing aquatic quality. Now that I know a little but more about parsing out perfume notes, I think what I was smelling when I initially wrote this was not peony so much as *freesia*, which has an olfactive profile similar to wisteria except not as cold.

One of my favourite perfume..
soft elegant floral and unique perfume.
I smeel litchi after i spray for two hours.
Very long lasting in my skin.
Repurchase? yes

I know i shouldn’t stereotype scents but I have always thought rose scents were old lady-ish. So I have to apologize to Chloe for not giving it a chance right away, a big regret on my part.
When i finally got around to trying it I was blown away by how fresh and delicate it was. The rose scent was there but it gave off a young lady vibe, like I was one of those genteel ladies in a Victorian novel taking a stroll in a lovely garden. This is a must have for every scent collector, and this lasts and lasts, worth every single scent.
Love love love for me!
prierrorp – :
My sister recommended me this perfume, so my husband bought it for me. When I tried it, I’m not really into this perfume but smells good. The fresh flora scent from rose, peony, and litchi are great and not heavy. I amazed with the longevity, more than 10 hours on my skin.I used it in the night, and in the morning I still can smell it. It’s light and long lasting perfume. When I used it, many people told me my perfume smells great and soft. I got a lot compliment about my perfume every time I wear it (true story).
Paradelph – :
I love how much litchi I get out of this! But I noticed a difference between spraying directly from the bottle vs the little sample spray. I prefer it from the sample bottle, so I decant it and apply that way. I get much more litchi (with the rose of course) and avoid the soapy/fabric softener vibe you get when spraying directly from the bottle.

This is the ONE perfume I keep coming back to after browsing around with other fragrances for my signature. I tried Princess by Vera Wang…La Vie Est Belle by Lancome…Fancy Love by Jessica Simpson…Flowerbomb by Viktor&Rolf…Heavenly by Victoria’s Secret…Clinique Happy Heart…this is the one that I keep going back to because when I smell it, I actually think of myself. I feel like it GETS me lol. I wore this to work a couple of years ago & my colleagues would ask what that smell was that filled the classroom with an extremely clean smell. The Rose mixed with the spicy note I think describes my personality well. I feel like if I chose a different perfume as my signature, I would be making a mistake.
Sebastian46 – :
I remember when I came to buy this perfume, the saleswoman told me something like: “Don’t buy this perfume. It’s really generic, very unoriginal, everyone is wearing it these days. We sold about 2000 bottles last month.”
Chloe is a pretty, inoffensive and very versatile perfume. It also, IMHO, has no personality, no backbone, no spunk. It is the kind of perfume you spray on yourself when you don’t know what you want to wear or who you want to be that particular day but at the same time, you want to smell nice. It is the kind of perfume you use when you want to disappear amongst thousands of other people. When you don’t want to be visible. Because you won’t be. Not with Chloe.
That being said, I like Chloe. I like to use it when I don’t want to draw too much attention to myself. Besides, whenever I want my roses to have more personality I can use my beloved Viva La Juicy Rose Juicy Couture.

This one is a nice fruity rose, but it reminds me too much of a rose scented candle…
Shalun87 – :
Rose/peony/cedar dry…..wonderfullness.!!
Finally got my nose on this for the first time. Pleasantly surprised. It is “rosy” but it’s a dry rose, with cedar/peony under the roses…add a little fruitiness, which I find also “dry”. Ok, yeah, it is a “soapy-ish” scent as well…just sayin’. But…there is that certain something that keeps it fresh-ish…clean…without going “total rose bar-of-soap”.
This one is good stuff !!!!!
Pretty decent sillage/projection too.

I get the most male compliments when I where this. Especially young men its like there compelled. My daughter and I ran across it in Marshalls in a gift set back in 2013. For my children Its become my signature fragrance. My 28 yrs old twin sons each got me the large gift sets for Christmas 2017. I was down half on a 1.7oz I begged my brother for 1 day at the mall while waiting for a Apple store appointment. I put on a show in the mall like I was 10 wanting him to by me a new barbie. I did everything but fall out on the floor. I said Please so many times on lookers almost cheered when he have me the cash and I ran into the Sephora. Did I mention I’m 54 and my brother is 56 LOL. No self respect when it comes to something that smells so amazing on me.

This week I purchased my 3rd bottle of Chloe.
I’m a sweet perfume lover, give me anything sweet smelling and I’ll say yes.
I’ve never been a floral lover to be honest, but this one right here, changed my whole outlook on florals, it was the first ever floral perfume I fell in LOVE with❤️
How can one smell so perfect ? It’s like a flower bed of heaven, it’s soapy, it’s a little sweet & it’s the cleanest thing I’ve ever smelt!!! It’s that GORGEOUS, I go easy with my sprays.
It’s sexy, it’s luxurious & I think that anyone can pull this off!
It’s confidence in a bottle, others WILL smell you.
Longevity is powerhouse on me.
I love it!!!❤️
sekurg75 – :
I have to say that I am not normally a big fan of clean floral perfumes, but this one is a particular exception. It is not boring clean. Not typical soapy. It has just the right balance of woodsy and floral that is simply magic on my skin. It has a resemblance to Glossier, but is different enough that I would still buy this one as well. Bravo Chloe, Bravo
krasov-wladimir12 – :
The classic the favorite and will never get bored of if. been wearing it in rotation for years (romantic dinner/evening out), bottle after bottle, it’s so romantic!
yabsa – :
The peony and cedar make this a winning combination for me! I bought a bottle of this way back in 2008, and I have to say the scent has been slightly reformulated as my 2017 smells a little different.
It smells like “clean”, and if I have taking a long hot bath and then put on my coziest jumper drowsed in fabric softener. It smells elegant, but not “business suit and red lipstick”-smart. It smells innocent but not girly. It is noticeable but not overpowering.
I wore this quite a lot when my boyfriend and I first started dating, but after a few months switched to J’adore EdT. I wore this one again the other day and when he walked past me he was suddenly taken back to our first couple of dates, and couldn’t figure out why! 😀
SO if you want a memorable perfume that has lots of sillage and lasts long, Chloé is your girl. I have recieved many compliments on it over the years.

It’s a very creamy floral mixture with a hint of citrus. Absolutely sensational, but the problem is that it got so hyped up, that it smells so generic now….

This is a masterpiece by house Chloe. I recently got this in Sydney Australia. It is a bottle of love when opened, all you witness is this divine fragrance with floral notes, roses and freshness.
I absolutely loved it on my skin . I applied as tester on my skin and decided not to buy until i actually see the longevity. It was really strange that how happy this scent made me feel with all those freshness and floral accords and it was the moment i realised i am about to discover my signature scent.
Keeping my excitement steady i headed to the nearest grocery store where i met my husband and he complemented saying that i smell beautiful <3. I was now 100 percent sure that this is coming to my collection just the next day
To my surprise i was able to smell the beauty even in my sleep as i had it on my wrist. Next day i immediately got it from the drugstore yay….
I wore this to work on Friday and when i went for coffee my friend, she complemented me for this and yes that made my day she said she absolutely loved it (It made my Day) and that was not just one complement. I got few compliment from few strangers on train happy and high with all the complement i headed back home just to realise that the perfume that I wore early morning at 7:00 stays till 5:00 in the evening. My Denim Jacket still has that sweet fragrance lingering over and to my amazement i went on a surprise dinner with my family that same night and was complemented for this.
Next day Morning when i woke up my husband complemented that i still smell chloemazing .
Chloe by Chloe is my signature perfume now. I love it so much
Chloe by Chloe has been in my wardrobe ever since and I absolutely love it
JAFFAR911 – :
Chloe is an unexpected love and breath of fresh air for me. I was on a month long classic oriental fragrance kick, all the old school heavies like BaV, Habanita, Tabu, etc.. I guess my nose tired of the weight of these fragrances, because on a whim I reached for my tarnished but still very pretty bottle of Chloe.. and now I think I’m going to be on a floral kick 🙂
My husband loves Chloe on me, coworkers compliment me when I wear it.. Chloe just “fits” I guess. I can wear this anywhere with ease. Velvety soft rose with a juicy burst of lychee and fluttering peony. Almost as smooth as a Chanel, this is a very well blended fragrance.. the notes do not battle each other for the top spot; they mingle and coexist peacefully.
I dismissed Chloe in the past as a generic, crowd-pleasing floral and wore it sparingly, but there was always something about it that made me happy when I wore it. No, it isn’t a fragrance that screams individuality or craves the spotlight. Yes it may blend into the background of Coco Mads, Black Opiums, Flowerbombs, LVEB etc.. but sometimes that’s a beautiful thing. There is a reason popular fragrances are popular. It can be so comforting to wear something that smells fresh and pretty all day 🙂
vgergel – :
I cannot count the amount of compliments I receive (from men and women) every time i wear this scent! It’s fresh, young rich lady, innocent and clean at a time!
морж – :
I am honestly SO sick of Chloe. It’s everywhere. In my opinion, only some people can pull this one off. I can’t, many people can’t, but some people make it a reasonable scent. Besides that, it’s somewhat offensive and just straight up overrated. Nobody asked me, but if someone were to, it’d be a no from me.
evboro – :
I’m a little indecisive on this one. It is very delicate, light, clean and elegant, but it takes a while to settle on the skin and get there.
At first, this is a strong litchi/peony scent with hints of freesia. At this point I’m not that fond of it. It reminds me of a body splash or shower gel. Don’t get me wrong, it is not a foul smell. But it is not what I’m personally looking for in a perfume. This lasts about 15 minutes before it reaches the next stage.
The next stage, which characterises the perfume for the rest of the wear time is lighter, softer and fresher. I’d even call it delicate and elegant. The dominant notes are rose and lily of the valley (on me, I’ve heard others get a stronger magnolia). The main association here is expensive shampoo and fresh out of the shower. You know that light hint of left over shower product-perfume that can stay on your skin after a shower. Personally I love this stage of the perfume.
This is definitely discrete and non-offensive. It would be suitable for wearing at the office, school or other contexts where a strong perfume might disturb others.
The main drawback I’d say is that it’s by no means unique. Go into a normal perfume department, and you’ll find 5-10 viable replacements for it. This doesn’t need to be a bad thing and can make this a safe choice, but its good being aware of this since it’s something I have realised disappoints many people.
muzzlon – :
I love this perfume in the winter, with the arrival of the first snowflakes and the first morning frost in the trees. Its flower arrangement resembles a blooming spring. It very distinctly opens notes of the most gentle freesia in a combination of a velvet and fragrant peony. And only you start to enjoy the spring flowers, as the magnolia starts to play with your mind in a duet with a fragrant lily of the valley. They dance in the frame of a haze of a powdery plume with wood of cedar and musk. It’s just a wonderful fragrance to meet her Majesty the winter. The teases the winter, reminding that after winter will come a blooming spring.
Mageddon – :
Such a pure, dainty, innocent rose fragrance.
disal – :
My goodness, what a modern classic! Clean, pretty, charming.
Beautiful, soft, powdery rose that has spawned many wannabes – but this still reigns triumphant. Once you smell Chloe, you will never confuse it for anything else! (Except for one of its many imitations, all of which Chloe trumps in longevity and power).
Anyone who wants to be a bit feminine can wear this. From the young girl just getting into fragrances, to the working woman passionate about fragrance but keeping it polite and inoffensive for work, to the elderly woman who is not in denial about her age but wants to preserve some of her youth with fragrance. There are no rules and no boundaries with Chloe EDP!
I will say that, as someone who has only recently gotten into niche fragrances and started to see the appeal of more complicated elixirs with skanky or dirty notes, this will be very dissatisfying to some. But this elegant classic will forever sell to the masses, and I’m – surprisingly – not mad about it. 🙂

I’m not a fan of flower scents but this is one of my favorite flowery fragrances.

Chloe Edp is very special for me as I’ve put on my wedding day 8 years ago. Soft, powdery, rosy fragrance.

Got a sample of this. And it just reminds me of fresh laundry. Cant`t help it. Nice but not nice as a fragrance.

The more I wear it, the more I don’t like it. I don’t understand why I liked it so much when I had a sample that I decided to buy it, I swear it smelled different. My issue with it is that it smells extremely cold and lifeless. It doesn’t smell like fresh roses, it’s so cold that it smells artificial at this point. It reminds me of a cold shower. I understand its beauty but it just doesn’t work with me. I still don’t hate it though and I will finish the bottle (thankfully I bought it on sale). I wear it only when I want to feel a bit more elegant, not so much attractive,
