Interesting as this perfume smells almost exactly like another perfume I’ve tried, but I can’t for the life of me think of what that other perfume was called, or even where I tried it or when!!??!!
I get a rather spicy cinnamon scent on first application. It’s a thick-syrupy cinnamon gourmand scent.
A little later on the myrrh and copal emerge…but the cinnamon has decided to take-and keep to-the front seat. The honeysuckle is the one to take the back seat-it’s just sitting in the background, behind the copal and myrrh.
To me it brings to mind a bazaar (in a hot country), where spices from all over the world are sold come to mind…only thing being this bazaar has an over stock of cinnamon.
It would suit folks who love cinnamon scents-as its pretty much the dominant force behind this scent, and it stays on my skin for a looooong time. On the other hand it may just be down to my skin chemistry.
On me it is POTENT smelling and almost too cloying.
It’s a mysterious scent…but unfortunately, the consistent domination of the cinnamon doesn’t help much!
ETA: A few hours later, cinnamon is still rather dominant, but now the myrrh is a little more noticeable. There is also a slight vanilla like smell. But gone are the copal and honeysuckle!

LAB’S DESCRIPTION
“The fiery, volatile scent of cinnamon, thickened by myrrh, honeysuckle, and copal.”
This scent is actually spelled “Chimera” on the lab’s site just incase you were looking for it. 🙂
The cinnamon in this is so light it’s barely detectable but it’s blended with the other notes so well that it’s gorgeous!. This oil is fantastic!! It’s a sweet and slightly foody scent that reminds me of Snake Oil without the spice. I never would have picked this out for myself but SO glad I have now smelled it as it’ could easily knock another oil off of my top 10 GC’s!
The throw of this oil is really good, I think the fact that my imp is aged quite a bit helps.
To describe the smell I would say it’s like a warm light brown smell that’s musky and foody. The kind of smell that you want to keep sniffing all the time. Sexy!
Want to slather!
