Description
The jewelry houses launching perfumes already became a common thing, its bottles offten being shaped as jewelry. This time the bottle, just like the one of the female edition, reminds of a pendant; regarding that the fragrance is male one, the bottle is dark and shaped like a cube. The fragrance has the simple elegance; it is sophisticated and noble. It unites warmth and freshness, floral and woody notes, emphasized by deep sweetness of musk. Grapefruit and tea dominate the top. The heart is filled with aromatic notes of jasmine twigs, harmonized with mildness of vetiver and other woody notes. The final trail radiates with sandalwood, grey amber and several kinds of musk. The nose behind this fragrance is Raphael Haury.

very good and clean aroma, although there is a slight unisex hue.

One of the best fragrances ever! Its bottle is sublime as is the juice therein! Sophisticated clean and so beautiful. Starts of clean with a warm leathery smell in the drydown. If ever I could only have one fragrance ever this would be it. My dessert Island fragrance, I don’t care if no one is around to smell it, it makes me feel good and I just keep smelling my wrists. Why on earth they discontinued it is a one of those mysterious that would baffle Hercule Poirot. Unless it was the bankers who were in charge of the fragrance dept!

Now…, this is how a real scent for a man is ‘formulated!’
to bring clean and warmth together, I think is brilliant.
This bottle and scent is ‘true’ ‘understated elegance!
Love it!

Great perfume, pleasant to wear, moderately sweet. Classy. I wish I could find (and rediscover) it again one day.

I tried this a a year ago and it warped twice. The initial spray was a familiar floral musk that I recognized as Bvlgari black. Then, something strange happened. The many floral, musky notes disappeared and it turned into the sweet, masculinity of JPG Le Male. The fruits and woods has risen to the surface for 5 minutes of fame before te encore drydown, where all performers come out for a bow.
I essentially realized there was no point in me buying it as I already has both Bvlgari black and Le male sitting at home waiting for me to use them up, so the obvious solution was to mix them together. This didn’t turn out AS good, but its still good.
All in all, Chaumet homme is a good stuff.

Classic and sophisticated, best for a grand event in Paris, if possible!

This eau de toilette brings together warm and cold aromatics. I like the Chaumet Homme opening – fresh notes of grapefruit, fig and bergamot. Then it opens up with the essence of maté leaves (a South American shrub), jasmine and vetiver. As if inlaid with musks, this fragrance is embraced by sandalwood and macis and matured with ambergris. The glass, metal and gum original flacon is decidedly modernist.
