With its square shape and solid design, this eminently masculine and elegant bottle imposes through its strength and presence, like all Charriol men’s fragrance bottles.
The color of the ROYAL GOLD bottle is gold, of course.
Gold as shiny as a gold ingot, omnipresent, covering the entire surface of the bottle and glamorously dressing up its sides with the famous Charriol trademark cable sculpted in the glass.
The middle of the bottle features a luxurious gold plate engraved like a coat of arms with the Charriol logo.

Black Orchid parfum and toilette combined. BO parfum is richer but doesnt project. Its a skin scent. BO toilette projects, but is lighter. This fragrance is rich and projects well. Yes a little too sweet at first but the dry down is right on point. The best Charriol men fragrance Ive experienced so far.

This was a blind buy. Almost smells like burnt rubber to me. Settles down after a while but to me it’s not overly pleasant. Paid about A$85 for 100ml. Maybe it will grow on me but had much better blind buys.

I love the opening of this fragrance. It’s sweet, spicy and almost gourmand. Without reading he note breakdown I smelled vanilla, cinnamon, almond. As the fragrance dries down it becomes sickly sweet and almost unwearable. This is good but there is better.. plus that bottle is just horrible. Impressive opening but not full bottle worthy.

I am interested to buy it but I have a question.
EDT Version comes with the name INTENSE, where as EDP only says Charriol Royal Gold but without “intense”.
Now the question is are they completely same with same notes but only EDT and EDP difference or they are actually two different perfumes/flankers. Thanks in advance.

Woa that is bold stuff.
Almost sickly feminine and heavy, but there is something alluring about it that convinces me to wear it on casual days in the winter.
Not for the faint of heart, and not to be worn if you want people to think you are manly.

Charriol Royal Gold Eau de Toilette Intense has a very good smell , you know ( Royal Smell ) the white tea & Tonka beans really what a banker should wear when he closing an important deals beside the bottle design is superb , longevity & projection are really great.
P.S. I have the EDP edition I’ll use it & write review by God’s Well.

I usually envisage myself owning ALL Charriol fragrances just to see them there. Boy are the bottles pieces of art. I sure will start the collection persue lol. On the other hand this did indeed rub me the right way, something I hadnt expected since every comment I read tends to tarnish their name as copy cats, I have never tried Black Orchid before so I can busk in thought that this is a damn good scent, either way am more than fine with a purchase some day. Just doesnt have to be now.

i tried this one …really liked it..at first sniff it smelled so close to tom ford “black orchid”,then it settles down to something woody, with a touch of cinnamon (i guess the cardamon smelled like cinnamon to me)!..silage is good up to 6-7 hours. it’s “black orchid” with extras.

True charriol style in every inch. I owned the charriol for men and the sport one. I don’t know what’s this gonna be like but I wonder, gold bottle like this? the stuff inside better be worth the packaging. I would imagine it would be something dark, heavy and packs a punch in one edt.
So far, nothing beats paco rabanne 1 million, that’s also come in a gold bar package.
Can’t wait to see it soon.
