So, I am first here, which is scary becsause I am not very good at this but will try – please read other reviews too 🙂 First blast musky incense with green cardemom. Then I notice something flowery but have no idea what it is. If it’s a rose, it’s not a big lush one, but sort of just the outlines of one. (I am not big on roses though and I don’t like them in perfumes). The suede is creamy and musky, this is a well balanced, easy to wear, uncomplicated, I’d say almost minimalist SEXY scent leaning to the feminine. Casual evening/clubbing or day if you spray lightly. Autumn/winter. Pretty good sillage & longevity. In time the rose pepper takes over on me, it gets VERY warm and less interesting but still cozy. More wet than dry. Steaming, maybe? The pepper tickles my nose throughout, I can imagine some might find it annoying. It reminds me a bit of Rituals Elixir d`Orient because of the pepper, but without (or at least much less of) the vanilla – also, the Rituals is more sweet, creamy and even more prominent with the rose pepper. Cement Rose is cleaner, more fresh, I am pretty sure there’s bergamot although not mentioned. And about the name, I haven’t a clue if there’s supposed to be cement/plaster in here. I don’t find it mineral or metallic or chalky. The honey is there but neither too sweet nor very animalic. About the woods, I would have guessed a very dry and dusty cedar/sandalwood but because of the insence vibe i get, maybe that’s the mentioned ebony? It’s really easy to like this, it feels modern. Youthful & edgy.
