Now I absolutely can’t stand it and I wanna swap my bottle! PM me if interested.

I bought this perfume after a quick sniff in the catalog and deciding it was a fitting sweet scent for the cold season. To me this is hardly a fresh, citrusy scent, but rather a warm, happy-sweet floral perfect for day wear in winter. Surprising enough though there is a certain coolness to it, as another reviewer has pointed, which tones down the sweetness a bit.
From all the listed notes I get mostly the rich, sweet and elegant scent of garden roses, mixed with vanilla and some peach. The drydown is indeed musky.

I received my bottle today, not bad at all, but I definitely prefer the original Celebre. I can smell predominantly lemon and musk and I don’t like the combination of these two much. I agree with boheme_maras” review – Celebre Ice closely resembles J”adore.
Update: Very synthetic drydown.
Try to layer this with Femme by Rochas nad you’ll get a great frag.

Spray celebre in you hand give it time and then smell it. Tada you can easily smell Christian Dior j’adore.

It was the blue and aqua type fragrance but i preferred the original better

This is like spring,in a way. It’s softly green, with a wall of dry subtlety. There is a slight coolness, hence the “ice” in the name.
This is something for the middle-age and up. I don’t see a younger crowd wearing this.
The bottle is so pretty. Mine is frosted with snowflakes. I am glad to have this in my collection.

Now this is interesting as its a re-launch of perfume they did maybe 10/15 years ago. . . . So i wonder if they will be bringing out some more old favorites 🙂
I will be buying this as it was good back in the day , I used to use it on hot summer days , it’s really refreshing and cooling as the name would suggest.
( I hope they bring back Jour De Casbah !!)
