Very nice and smooth composition, also very sweet, but not sickly so.
Cedretto is to be used when feeling, or longing to feel, cosy. It is warm and inviting, caressing the skin and senses. It puts me in a empathetic and talkative mood with its pillowy softness and comfortable projection. It lasts quite a bit, specially on fabric, and creates an aura of intimacy around it.
Good creation, something out of the ordinary in the gourmand camp!

Got it a few days ago. I already know some other frags created by Daniel Barros, and I think he has a caracteristic that always appear….he seems to mix notes in opposition. And the way he does it is very particular, as he seems to blend some notes with such perfection that you can feel the notes as they were one.. For instance, here in cedretto we have cedar, one of my favourite notes and I thing I had three or four bottles of Christian Lacroix Tumulte pour homme in my life, that was almost pure cedar. So here we have the sharpness and dryness of this note, but at the same time it is always surrounded by some sweetness, as the intention was to polish the wood and make it shine. I can also feel something bitter, certainly from the amaretto note. I was somehow affraid with this frag for the iris note, that is really a note that does note suit me at all. But, though I can feel its presence it is very delicate, very soft, and it really brings some kind of elegance to the creation. What i really enjoy in Daniel Barros is that he plays very well with the notes, and he seems to make the main notes walk hand to hand on the evolution of his frags. Cedretto is a very nice creation, more an intimate frag in my opinion but very long lasting on my skin.

Cedretto is an interesting creation within the Barista collection, especially for the multidimensional aspect that the perfume has in the skin. The composition revolves around gourmands nuances, powdery aspects, woody nuances and a note of almond liqueur that plays the Amaretto in composition. The way the almonds appear balanced allows you to smell the sweet, slightly bitter, full-bodied scent without it becoming cloying. At the opening you can also see an interesting roasted gourmand aroma, something darker and more conceptual. In the background, the more childish nuance of almonds is explored in combination with the soft, powdery aroma of the iris. As the perfume evolves in the skin a scent of vanilla and something half caramelized takes the center of the composition and is balanced with a woody base at the same time dry in aroma and soft in texture. It is a very original and daring creation, maximalistic in its textures and offering much to be explored. I recommend for fans of gourmands perfumes that are looking for something different.
