Lovely version of Casmir! Unfortunately I didn’t realize it’s an edt,so very very light, I Think I will swap this out. Anyone interested? Pm me.

Wow, I am completely in love with this fragrance. I love the warm creamy vanilla in Casmir. It was my signature fragrance for years when it came out.
I was always curious about the flankers but never tried them until now because I loved the original so much, I was afraid I’d be disappointed in the flankers. This is a soft, warm, cozy vanilla. The opoponax and tonka give it a slight earthiness and the ylang-ylang/peach/amber make it glow. It’s similar to Pure eVe and Malle’s L’Eau d’Hiver in it’s warm musky sweetness, but somehow slightly warmer and earthier.

When I smell this I think of a smooth velvety caramel. You know what I mean, a little sweet and warm and soft and it melts in your mouth. I suppose it is the Tonka bean mixed with Opoponax. I love that style of fragrance. The resins and lovely ancient smells. You know if some of the harsher bolder stronger resinous fragrances are too much for you then this is perfect! I am just so in love with this fragrance!!!

I tested it only once in Germany 9 years ago and my vague memories are really wonderful – a softer and less obvious version of Casmir, not so much like Vanilla Fields which btw I adore, but this one is simply an intriguing variation of Casmir. I would love to be able to test it again and possibly get a bottle.

Opening notes immediately reminded me of Organza Indecence, although doesn’t have quite the same richness as it wears. I feel this is more for a mature woman rather then a younger one.

Sounds lovely would love to have tried it.

I love the original and wondering about this one since the descriptions of Casmir are very similar, but I’m assuming this one has a floral note that stands out.
