Bought this as a blind buy, and I could have done without it. One of those cheapies that you’ll regret. Smells good for 10 minutes then disappears without a trace. 4/10

First, I could never hate this scent. It is like taking a bite of fresh cut tangerine on a beautiful spring day. I smell juice and rind of citrus. Very Fresh smell.
On my skin it is a skin scent in one hour and disappears by the second hour. But I like it a lot. It is priced low online and so you can respray all day. You would be hard pressed to overspray this.
It is like “Happy” by Pharrell. It is not eternal high art, but it is very nice and fun for sure.

I liked this alot, last 8 hours on clothes. I got rid of it because one day my girlfriend said you smell clean and i replied why thank you then she said yeh which laundry detergent are you using ive smelt it before? Then i frowned and said its my fragrance.. We laughed and i sold it lol! Still a great scent tho

Synthetic to the max… but still pleasant. This smell is indeed just tangerine, frosting, and cold water. There is nothing juicy about this tangerine. This juice is very cooling and leaves very nice wafts. Good office scent, very inoffensive, very mild projection but long-lasting (12+ in air-conditioned room, more like 6-10 in heat).
EDIT: Perhaps I was a bit harsh my first time reviewing this, and although I’m not completely satisfied with it… I’ve come to appreciate it more. This does a lot of things few fragrances do, especially for the price point. First of all, it’s a long-lasting summer scent, which is a feat in itself. However, this takes it a step farther to be a long-lasting ORANGE fragrance. It almost qualifies as gourmand as you can detect the sugar and frosting notes quite well, although the tangerine isn’t as tasty as you’d hope. Semi-gourmand, summer, orange, men’s fragrances like this don’t normally exist, so this has a lot of unique qualities going for it. It’s also extremely cheap (got it for $12), so that’s another selling point. This perfume has earned more of my respect, but I am personally still not happy with it. I’m sure others, especially those on a budget, may be able to enjoy this more than I.

I thought this would smell sweet, but manly.
Going from the list of notes…man let’s just say stay away from this.
If you think this would be different from other frags…
You’re in for a rude awaking.
    But it smells very generic…
    It last 4 to 6 hours…
    Sillage 1 foot away…
Um, would I buy this again for a friend or family member …
SureIt only $18.00 for a 3.4 OZ bottle.
    But for myself…
    I know I won’t finish this bottle …

I would make this review long, but it is not needed. Orange and whipped cream. The other notes are there, but not like these two. It is a close setting date/office scent ALL YR. You can overspay for days. It is a skin scent that gives very pleasant whafts when you walk passed or a breeze catches you.
It lasts good while in a 2 ft radius 6 hours. Maybe more, so pleasing olfactory
    can kick in quickly.
7/10 for what it is & price. Score for smelling really good, being extremely office safe, good close date setting scent, & serviceable all year except outside with super cold temps.
Overspray & hit the clothes all layers to improve sillage.

    First initial wearing:
Fragrance comparison — So I’ve only worn this once but to my nose this smells like a mix between Sean Johns I am King mixed with Bleeker Street.
For those that haven’t tried either of those frags this opens up with a very tart tangerine note that’s very bright but at the same time kind of sweet. After about 5 minutes the citruses die down and there’s a creamy note that smoothed this out making this more smooth but there’s still a slight sharpness due to the tangerine. The drydown to this smells pretty much the same but the woods really come out in the drydown and to my nose this smells like a suede or leather note ( even though either is listed)
Unlike some of the other reviews I didn’t get the milk, cupcake,or any of the other notes that were listed and I mainly got strong citrus, woods and maybe a little bit of sugar. From the notes I was expecting this to creamier and more gourmandish. But hey for the price I can’t complain as this is a good scent for the price !!!
Performance on this is above average… It lasted me 6 hours with above average projection for 2 hours and actually did well with the heat and not becoming cloying.
Overall rating — 7 out of 10 ! Solid scent for a great price but it’s not a hidden gem unfortunately. BUT in time this may grow on me.

I tried this a few months ago and really liked it and considered getting it in the future. I just put this on the “back burner” of my mind until I re-tried this fragrance and now I’m sold on it and want to buy a bottle. I really love it.! It’s sort of a citrus fragrance but also more so, a gourmand type of fragrance given all the sweet delicious notes it has in it. This smells like orange sherbet, dreamsicles/popsicles or any other type of orange dessert. This type of orange fragrance is unlike any other that I’ve tried. The prices right now are real good and especially since it’s EDP which in general makes a fragrance more expensive. This is one I recommend trying before you buy, if you like citrus or especially sweet gourmand scents.

Carte Blanche is a unique fragrance. I’d tried researching it online; the only in-depth review was from a thread on Basenotes forum in January 2012. So I ended up blind buying it.
The fragrance is a creamy citrus fragrance with the typical clean, aquatic men’s scent.
I can literally smell the frosting in this fragrance, and the frosting note lasts all the way until basenotes/drydown. The first hour is creamy (the frosting note) and citrus-y. The frosting and citrus DO NOT combine to make a Dreamsicle scent. The frosting is definitely a sugary vanilla frosting. And the citruses are definitely there on their own (I smell tangerine, orange, and lemon). The aquatic accord, sugary frosting, and citrus ride a wave until a woody drydown.
The colognes lasts about 3-5 hours on my skin and depending on the temperature.
I don’t know… I was so hyped by this cologne, and it just didn’t live up to my expectations. It’d be great for a Saturday or Sunday brunch or luncheon. Some might find it a little sweet, but it would be a nice addition to a work rotation.

I love this juice. The top opens with a creamy citrus dreamsicle smell. This lasts briefly, and transitions to something more marine. It’s salty and watery at this point, and a creamy sweetness lingers behind. Then, it becomes slightly fruity. There are green notes that make the smell metallic. Not screechingly so, but in a pleasant soft way. The base is still green, still a little salty and sweet. To me this can be worn all year. It’s more of a day time scent, but has the strength to be worn at night. The strength seems more like an edt more than an edp. For the price it’s fabulous.
Edit: This smells very close to Sean John’s I am King. I believe Carte Blanche leans slightly more gourmand, where as I am king leans more woody. I layer both for added staying power.

Bought it blind and like it. Will give a better review soon. However, it seems on my skin I am getting a great deal of vetiver about a couple hours in, but is given more character by the marine, fruity, citrus and gourmand notes. It is as if Bleecker Street and Eau De New York had a child they gave away at birth. Not as strong as either of the two but definitely shares in the family traits. Overall for a designer retail price this would be nice. For the going rate of >$25 this is a definite steal. This is 100% unisex. A bit fuity/salty/gourmand/vetiverish (I know not a word LOL). The sillage and projection are moderate, stays better on clothes but not bad on the skin. I get whiffs of it every so often.
Overall a solid 3.75/5 and is going to be in heavy roatation for me.

By far one of the best colognes that I have ever smelled. The top notes totally throw you off (in a good way) with the strong citrus scent, then the transition into a smooth clean masculine smell that lingers.
    10/10

Looking at the bottle I would never expect this kind of smell. But boy is this some uplifting juice! I feel like a walking fruit salad, though canned… The balance between salt, sweet & zesty is absolutely sublime. The aquatic notes comes through during dry down and does it’s business on a hot day. This is far away from your usual citrus wc cleaner cologne!

Looking at the notes, I expected to smell a pastry dessert. But that’s not the case with this one! This is a very nice citrus fragrance that can be worn for casual use and night time. Even though this has aquatic notes, it doesn’t smell too salty. This is a very smooth, longer lasting version of Success by Donald Trump. Smells nice on women too.

I’ve had this on all day. It has it’s own signiture scent. Once you smell it you will never forget it. The tangerine, orange opening really is wonderful. The rest is a sweet woody cedar dry down that is unique all to it’s own because not much floral or any musk. I really put a lot on twelve hours ago and it stayed strong all day. I still have no problem smelling it. It say’s Natural Spray on the box and I think it is. Sale price tag was $69.99 for 3.4 oz. so $15.00 plus $5.00 S/H was a good deal. I also have EC Autograph and like it very much but can’t test it out for a review till tomorrow after this one fades away.
