But she’s not really like this. She is seeking for kind of love that only can flourish when liberated from all social expectations. You can say that this beautiful heroine is a true tragic figure, suspended in time and place. Only when she dances, she shows a genuine expression of herself.

Nikolay told me once that in his opinion there has been a softening in fragrance making out there, but not so in his work. His used notes are strict and regular in order to create the sense of hierarchy between the strong notes and weak notes. With a dashing virtuosity Nikolay pushes the boundaries and creates a shifting texture with strong spirit in his creations, he almost punishes each of used notes with unthinkable connections. This particular type of hierarchy is his unique language.

There is this particular sweet odor of freshly harvested grapes mixed with rich spicy notes. As is often the case by Nimerè Parfums, this perfume develops its own dynamics. There is no classical development, but the used notes whirl around and present themselves according to their own strength. I get a picture of Carmen biting her lip and letting it bleed. The entire Nikolay’s creation is an attempt to present “The Taming of the Shrew „in a bottle of fragrance. “Carmen” dries down unbelievably opulent. Those who have not been seduced by now, here, at the very least, all will be charmed.
