Not the best. This is a weak, sweet coconuty vanilla. Hardly there. Not worth the price when there are better ones out there.
Nairi – :

Does this smell like Le Couvent Cologne of the Missions? yes.
It has that same boozy vanilla vibe. Caribbean Original Vanilla however, does not last as long, and sits even closer to the skin. It is very light wearing. I would also say Caribbean Original Vanilla is just a teensy tiny itty bit sweeter – more vanilla and less booze/resinous than the Cologne of the Missions.
It is a nice vanilla, easy to wear, not candy sweet or overly foody, doesn’t read too cheapo synthetic like some (Coty Vanilla Fields I am talking about you).
adding — that I found the end dry down a really nice dreamy vanilla that was just delightful! All the boozy goes completely away and its morphs into a heavenly even sweeter vanilla.

On first sniff, my fave vanilla ever, and I love the bottle and tale on the box. rtquadros is right, it’s very similar to Missions, but sweeter, and I don’t get tobacco out of it.
I’ll have to report back on whether it stays better than Mission or not.
Edit: ultimately the Missions smells better and a whole lot more expensive. The fact that this comes with a matching lotion is amazing though, so many incredible vanillas do not, but the tobacco (yeah, I finally smelled it) is stronger in the lotion than in the perfume. I enjoy it, but like Missions more.

Ok, I’m not so much a fan of everything Perlier, because I find their smells rather artificial and simple. This vanilla is no exception, but I like it more than most vanillas around these days.
Not totally a candy factory, almost there, very sweet, but I like it.
I bought the roll-on and wear it for my vanilla cravings. A little heavy and monochorde yet enjoyable.
EDIT: I had it in roll-on concentrated oil. It fell on the floor and broke. So I went and bought a new one, but I chose the EdT, which is much cheaper for 100ml. Anyway I should have stuck to roll-on, because the EdT smells very alcoholic in the opening, then a more bland vanilla, then a slightly burned sugar, like Candy Prada (not that powerhouse!) and more gloomy.

Very similar to Eau des Missions Le Couvent des Minimes, but more sweet.
