rue21 Carbon Elements is a nice change from the norm. It is a flanker of Carbon but they share in name only. Carbon is a spicy woody scent that seems to be discontinued. Carbon Elements is an aromatic spicy which is heavy in green and floral notes. In a way it is a florally even powdery and less complicated aquatic Davidoff Cool Water or a less foresty Coty Aspen. It really is semi-unique, especially for a cheap exclusive store designer fragrance.
Carbon Elements is heavy on the Jasmine from the mid, it seeps into the green semi-citrus open. The jasmine combines with a similar white floral African Orange Flower with an unoticable nutmeg. The base is musk and barely there sandalwood. This combination works. The issue is performance wise, we are looking at a 30 minute to one hour moderate projection before becoming a skin scent with four to five hours of longevity.
Carbon Elements is good for teenagers but it is different than normal teenage scents that are just freshies or trendy-club ready scents. For the value like most rue21 scents (1.7oz for $9.99) this is a steal. Carbon Elements is a spring/summer day scent ready for class, work, or also active.
Carbon Elements I rate a 7.2. It’s a nice scent with decent performance but bang for your buck. It’s a nice scent to wear as a dumb grab for high schooler or college student. That or someone like me who is young at heart.

Smells very nice, but nothing interesting or groundbreaking.
To me…all the notes blend together to make a sort of…nice expensive smelling soap.
Nothing amazing, but yes…deff worth the $10. This will work great as a gym fragrance since it smells very clean and only lasts about 2 hours….so for that use, it’s perfect. But not much more than that.
The first hour it projects decently about 2-3 feet out…and the second hour it sits close to skin.
Not a bad buy if you’re looking for a good smelling cheapie.
7/10

The second best guys fragrance, in my opinion. The jasmine, musk, and bergamot all work so well together. It smells like a typical teen (12-15) boy would. Makes me think of long nights playing Call of Duty and eating Doritos with your best friend. Very good for the $10, though.

A fresh, synthetic fruity-citrus & wood scent of little interest. Cheap and to the point.

I just bought this bad boy, and let me tell you just a few things
1-If you don’t like this scent, I feel bad for what ever you’ve been smelling.
2-This lasts for hours! I mean from dawn till dusk hours. Although you may not be able to tell, trust me, others will
3——-IT’S $10. okay what are you waiting for…Go!!!!!!
