I didn’t know how much I loved the scent of violet until I smelled this fragrance. Like the original Lolita, this scent has a warm and spicy heart of anise and musk. The combination of these notes leave the dry down sweet yet powerful. The addition of Violet to this scent could have made it almost too much, and that was my biggest fear before I sniffed it. I’m a long time wearer of the original and I couldn’t imagine changing it, even in a small way. The violet adds a surprising but yummy note that I think could best be described as a sweet green. when I smell this perfume it seems almost regal, like maybe a queen could have worn it, but still somehow I can wear it too!. I would recommend this scent to anyone who knows they like violet, or naturally gravitates towards unique gourmand scents. This was a lovely concoction and I wish it wasn’t a limited addition!

I knew this outstanding fragrance with the anniversary edition of 2007 , this version of lolita is obviously centrated in the violete notes. Incredible femenine long lasting and warm. The nose behind this masterpiece is Annick Menardo who is the same woman who created the first version of Lolita Lempicka in 1997, and she is also the nose of some other masterpieces like Bulgary Black, Hypnose, Armani Attitude, etc..
