It had been a very long time since I’d worn CANDIED CITRON and I barely remembered what it smelled like. I put some on today and was immediately reminded of citrus peel (lemon or lime – not orange) squeezed into a high-octane drink. I checked the notes and was amused to see that what I’d smelled was exactly what was pictured.
I’d forgotten about the nice dry-down as I don’t care for the initial phase, which I find too sharp, somewhat bitter and almost medicinal due to the wafts of alcohol. After 15 or 20 minutes, the medicinal aspect dissipates and what is left is a sweeter (but not overly sweet), mellow, dark-rum scent with undertones of the citrus peel, which now smells distinctly like lime. As the fragrance develops, the rum note deepens further and I can pick up just a tiny hint of the wood. At this point, there are no further changes for the duration. Sillage is on the soft side of moderate and longevity is quite good.

Delicious and refreshing! it is sweet but the citrus still is bright and clean, not too cloying. Reminds me of a jolly rancher, Fun scent for casual wear. Lasts really well for a citrus scent as well and the sweetness really tames the usual bitterness of citrus.

Candied Citron is a yummy, beautiful, special scent in my opinion! I found it after using Dew Blossom. I fell in love with it immediately and have to have it.
I get all types of compliments whenever I wear it too.
The blend is so pretty, warm, powdery..
I wish Love & Toast would offer this scent in ALL of their product line, though, I do not see it in the Body Butter, Bathwash, etc. and I say it NEEDS to be expanded…

Though I like this well enough in small amounts, any more than a tiny amount is way too much.
