I like the top notes very much but they don’t last long enough (3 minutes top) and then the whole concoction turned very woodsy/musky. I wish that the juicy notes stay longer and be more dominant. Kinda disappointed as I had high hope for this one, since I did not like the original Can Can at all (with the same problem).

I honestly feel that Paris Hilton doesn’t get enough recognition for her fragrances. She is an absolute genius, and she knows how to market herself very well. I own four of her fragrances and I really enjoy all of them.
I have a half ounce bottle of Can Can Burlesque and it’s really pretty. It’s sugary sweet but with a tart edge that is wonderfully pleasant. I think if you’re the type of person who loves easy to wear scents that are girly and fun, then Paris Hilton is the house to check out.

To me there are differences between Burlesque, and the original, you can definitely smell the musk in this, to me it’s not as sweet as the original, and you get that green note in this which is cassis, I feel like Burlesque is more powdery than the original due to the musk, and orchid mix. I like the smell of the original body lotion the most, it has this nice creamy smell.

I really thought I was going to love this fragrance. The original Can Can has been a favorite of mine for years. I know many people say the original Can Can is a heavy sickly sweet fruity syrup smell, but that’s what I love about it!
Burlesque smells similar to the original but it’s much lighter with a smaller sillage. I wouldn’t wear the original Can Can to work but I think you can get away with Burlesque in an office setting. I don’t dislike this fragrance but I will not be repurchasing it.

I was searching for my staple perfume. After spending $30 on the most expensive perfume I’ve ever owned (Bvlgari Rose Essentielle), I gave this one a go. I saw it at Marshall’s and picked it up. It smells like I’m floating on a cloud of pure bliss. Super sweet.The note that stands out the most is Raspberry which I LOVE. Keep in mind that it is very sweet. Not a young scent, but not mature either. Longevity is about 3+ hours. Not the best, but it doesn’t bother me that much. I would give it a shot.

This is just what I was looking for. The original is nice but there was always something in there that made it sickly sweet and I couldn’t bare it. This ‘Burlesque’ version rids the original of all it’s flaws and gives a slightly more fruity candy vibe and I LOVE it !!!
This literally just arrived in the mail. I sprayed it on my arm and it is heavenly. The raspberry note is one of the best I’ve ever smelt in a perfume. This raspberry is totally mouthwatering. I just want to nibble on my arm :p
Seriously anyone who brought the original should buy this whether you liked it or not. I didn’t and words can’t describe how much I love this scent.
The scent fills a room but not in a cloying way, it gently caresses everything in the room. I’m pretty sure it will last well too.

I prefer this fragrance to the firsts Can-Can which my body could not handle well. This is much sweeter even more girly and very pretty. At first I thought this would be spicier and sexier. The name of the perfume Burlesque makes you think of adult burlesque shows strippers and Dita Van Teese type of acts. This is not a sexy scent in that kind of way. This is just a really simple and sweet fruity floral. At the first spritz you will get citrus burst of clementine and fruits of nectarine, cassis and raspberries. The fruity deliciousness lingers for a while smelling really nice before it has a minor change and becomes floral with pink orchid and orange blossom. I love orchids and the orchid here is really very nice. The whole thing then dries down neatly into soft wood. It smells great but it can be noticeably cheap smelling like a simple body spray or body mist. However it does last a long time. It lasts longer than 3 hours I would estimate it’s about 4 hours at most. Great for casual wear in the day time spring and summer season great for wearing when out among girl friends to the movies restaurants lunch to the beach shopping or any leisurely activity that doesn’t require you to get all dressed up. Sweet and girly and loving every moment of it.

I’ve been wearing this to work, and when I go outside in general, for over a month so I’ve had ample time to get to know it.
It’s a rather linear perfume: starts with sweet sugary raspberry with a citrusy tartness (probably from the tangerine note; I initially thought it was lemon) and develops into a nice musky-sweet drydown. Candy-like but in a good way. My only issue is the sillage. While Can Can Burlesque does last, it quickly turns into a skin scent within less than hour (which I guess is good for work?) and I have to respray quite a lot.
All in all, a young safe perfume and not a bad buy at the price (I found a full size bottle discounted at a local online vendor for less than 20 dollars). I got the original as well, and it is very similar, but this one is sweeter.

I actually prefer Burlesque to the original.. it’s very beautiful and playful and friendly to wear anywhere and everywhere.
This lasts so much longer than the original!
If you are a fan of the first one or of sweet fragrances in general, you will love Can Can Burlesque.
I highly recommend this. It is reasonably priced, like the rest of Paris Hilton’s beautiful line of scents!

I blind bought this in the body mist version and am very happy with it. It is a colorful burst of fruity floral deliciousness! The bottle suits the juice well – flirty & feminine with a touch of sass. Immediately upon spraying it, I definitely detect the raspberry along with the tart brightness of the nectarine and clementine, and even a hint of the green cassis note. For me the top notes soften pretty quickly, while the heart notes of orchid and orange blossom warm up and combine with the mellowed fruit, creating an almost edible sweetness that lends Can Can Burlesque its enticing, candy-like vibe. However imo the floral notes and base of soft musk + blonde woods lend enough sophistication to keep it from smelling too syrupy.
Definitely for fans of sweet scents…I would put it in the same category as fragrances like Prada Candy (yeah, I went there), and B&BW Velvet Sugar, Pink Chiffon, Paris Amour. I may very well buy the edp because I enjoy this fragrance for its fun, easy wearability but wouldn’t mind better longevity & sillage than I get from the body spray.

People who smell it on me love it and tell me it smells like candy ! Ive had a lot of people compliment me on this perfume and the original can can.

Mmmm Raspberry Cotton Candy.
I think this is better than the original Can Can. It opens with a really sweet, syrupy raspberry. It’s bright, fun, girly and delicious. The original is warmer whilst this is fruitier. When this dries it’s less fruit and more woody but still with the distinct syrupy raspberry.
The silage and lasting power on this is great. I could still smell it on myself after a 8 hour shift. I think this would be great for Spring/Summer whilst the original is suited more for Autumn and Winter.
Another job well done for Miss Hilton.

Can Can Burlesque is a great fragrance in all ways. The box is a beautiful metallic hot pink colour that fades down to white at the bottom. This however did not come with a slip cover. I’m quite disappointed about the if I’m honest. I was hoping she had an advertisement of her being a burlesque dancer this time instead of a can can dancer. The bottle has the same fade as the box. Hot pink fading into a clear bottle at the bottom. The smell of this is very similar to the original but in my opinion this a more fruity woody scent. I loves it so much. Paris doesn’t have a bad scent in my opinion. This lasts about 6-7 hours on my skin. Keep up the amazing work Paris hun. This gets a 8.5/10 from me xo

I was so indifferent on buying this, because of what people said this smelling just like the original Can Can, but in my opinion they are only 75% the same. IMO Burlesque has more depth, than the original Can Can. Burlesque is more candy like, than the original. It’s more like cotton candy to me. The original has the Nectarine, black current, and amber smell which is a little more darker. Burlesque is a lighter version IMO. I know a lot of people say Burlesque isn’t original, but I’m glad she made Burlesque, because I prefer it over the original. Burlesque is one of my favorite perfumes by Paris Hilton. I don’t care what people think about me liking, more like loving Paris Hilton’s perfumes. I also think Burlesque is a lighter version of Dazzle. I really want Paris to make a night time perfume ( Even though I wear Dazzle in the evening as well as the day time ). My favorite perfumes by Paris. 1. Dazzle 2. St. Moritz 3. Heiress 4. Can Can Burlesque 5. Passport Paris. Overall I give Can Can Burlesque a 10/10.

I just got this today! I think I like this just a little better than the original Can Can. It’s less powdery on my skin and is has more fruity notes, which I enjoy. Like the original, it’s very sweet, but Burlesque seems to last longer.
The scent is pretty close to the original, with slight differences, but the good thing about that is that you can wear the original Can Can lotion with Can Can Burlesque so the scent will last longer. Burlesque is more fruity, while the original is very light. If you just put a bit of the lotion on your wrists and spray the perfume over it, the effect is good.
Also, the packaging and bottle are gorgeous. Better than the original, in my opinion.
I definitely recommend this perfume.

I was supposed to buy Meow by Katy Perry because I am a fan of gourmand scents (esp when layered with powdery or citrus scents, and this perfume lasts for as much as 7 hours! I even took a bath, and it was very impressive.
But when I went to our local SM Watsons store, it was already sold out (within a week!golly). So I searched for a new perfume.
Enter Can Can Burlesque by Paris Hilton. When I first sprayed it on, I WAS HOOKED. I know that pink champagne and VANILLA was really not on the notes list, but that was what I smelled, even like the MEOW perfume on the dry – down(anyone else?). With a kiss of raspberry, and clementine, it borders on being sweet, fruity, and gourmand.Only downside I noticed,(not really major, though)was that it only lasted for 4-5 hours on me.
Anyhoo, a lovely scent for casual days in school or a lunch date with a guy you really like. But don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t smell overly sweet like those annoying cologne highschool students usually wear. It’s luscious, and yummy, that I am oftentimes tempted to lick my own wrist.

I found this at Marshalls, and was super excited to find it. I’d been wanting this one. Can Can is one of my top five favorite perfumes. The bottle on this is even cuter than the original, and I love the dangly charm. The perfume however, smells almost identical to the original. I struggle to smell any difference at all. I guess I’m glad I got it, but I was expecting more of a twist on the original. This is like an identical twin, instead of fraternal twin to the original Can Can.

Found this at my local Marshalls store last night and got so excited and brought it straight up to the registers to buy it! Got a 50ml bottle for $14.99! 🙂 Not a bad deal for a fairly brand new perfume that hasn’t been launched yet!
I love the bottle more than the original Can Can (I own that one also) because it just seems more girly and fun and I absolutely love the feather charm!
Both of the fragrances are candy sweet smelling and very fun to wear, but I can honestly say that I love this one a little bit more than the original! It is a bit woodier and a bit more fruity smelling! For me, there is just something a little bit more pleasant on this one! I feel like I will be reaching for this one more often! Definitely worth a try and if you can find it at your local Marshalls/TJMaxx/Ross etc… Pick one up! 🙂

This is like smelling two scents at once. There is a wonderful sweetness,but with an unfortunate side of mildew and dried stale sweat. Why does this smell like mildew? This is supposed to smell like sweet fruit! This smells like a damp hand towel that’s been sitting on the towel rack too long between washings.
On the dry down,the mildew smell fades away,but I hate having to wait for the ‘dirty’ smell to go away.
I like the whole Burlesque concept,however, I think that if the entire bottle were hot pink,this would look awesome. All in all,I think this could have been done better.
