Description

Cafe Parfums presented Cafe Green in 2008. It invites for journeys while evoking aromas of distant regions, nature, cleanliness and landscapes. Positive energy of aromas leads us into a world of pear zest, mandarin and bergamot in a top, rose, jasmine and green tea leaves in middle notes. Base notes cuddle with musk and cedar. Green colour of flacon and its curves represent greenery combined with a feminine siluette. Human figure is connected with nature by means of this fragrance, which is also the theme of advertising campaign by the house of Cafe Parfums.

Getting this perfume in the mail today, was a pleasant surprise! I am very glad I ordered it. This cheapie smells like summer sunshine to me. Yes! It is summer sunshine in a watery green bottle. This summer sunshine is Iced green tea, with a lime wedge in it also. I can also smell a touch of freshly mowed wet grass.
Initially you get a pleasant mist of the limey sunshine and iced tea, with the slightly wet green grass.
Lastly it morphs into a pretty, and modest summer fragrance. The silage is much
better than I expected. I do not have any fragrance similar to this perfume in my
collection. I am very happy with my purchase and would buy it again!
I think I will keep my bottle in my refrigerator, and use it cold to help me feel cool, as well as smell nice this summer.
I am considering the Cafe Puro for my next purchase.

IT’s not a well-known green tea, it’s a green coffee or something else whatever. HAving finished my Elizabeth Arden, I bought this one last spring. The first impression was “it’s the same green tea” but farther it transfomed in something sweet, powdery, heavy, if it’s the tea, it’s warm with bergamot and lots of sugar and lemon. Not freshed at all, it gave me a bad headache, my eyes turned red and I was getting sleepy. I’m so dissapointed. I bought 50 ml , it’s too much, I can’t use it, I bought another “Green Tea”- it’s completely different thing.
“Green tea” must have some shades of herbs(they give freshness and dilute sweetness), the “Green coffee” doesn’t and is too powdery. Very similar to “O-zone” Tacchini, which I didn’t like either.

Glad to report that the main note that defines Arden’s Green tea for me is absent here (because of its loud presence I didn’t buy a mini of Mintea by Masaki Matsushima one summer day). Well, the scent is neutrally nice, sits close to the skin, with coffee drink plus lemon cheers. The warmer is around, the more lemony it becomes. Not too light and not bad.

At the first time, I hated this. Now, I like it a lot. A fruited tea in top turns into a fresh-floral bouquet with hints of cedar and a shy musk. It’s more pleasant in middle and bases but nice in top too. The fragrance really remembers me of spring, garden and fruits. Quite delightful and low priced perfume.

This special aroma is floral, sweet, and takes you to places to know…
Is like an invitation to take some time to relax… But accompanied by a nice song…

I find it a lot similar to the Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden. I didn’t apply this fragrance to the skin, but when you spray it in the air, the aroma is very pleasant.

I find this unpleasantly green. Growing up my family had a compost pile right next to our vegetable garden. When I spent time in the garden, enjoying the verdent scent of tomato vines and earth I would sometimes get a whiff of the compost pile scent on the breeze. If you’ve never smelled a compost pile, it’s generally a mix of half rotten veggies, fruit, and a strong earthy musk. I don’t find it exactly appealing, and it’s nothing I would want to wear in a perfume. Sadly, this perfume embodies that scent perfectly.
