Goes on amazing, almost like old Chantilly and spicy but then gets more chypre and woody then on the total dry down a couple of hours later it goes back to sweet spicy almost like Coca Cola

Spicy (!!!), woody, resinous and animalic. This really does have it all. I find the opening to be quite masculine actually… and comforting. The cinnamon is nice throughout. And the carnation + patchouli combo is one of my favorites. Lovely spicy dry down…. becomes very feminine. And I’ll brag on the longevity. Put some on last night and 16 hours later I can still catch a whiff close to the skin. A must try if you like this kind of fragrance!

Sorry that I missed this one back in the 80’s. It sounds like something I would have really liked. I love both aldehydes and and galbanum!!
