Description
Fragrant trio, which was named after gems, was presented in 2008, in cooperation with Estee Lauder and Sarantis Group from Greece, as well as with perfumers of famous hoses IFF, Firmenich and Givaudan. This was the first time that the house of Estee Lauder invested in mass-market. The perfumes were named Blue Opal, Ruby and Purple Diamond.
Ruby was created by perfumers of the house of IFF and it is dedicated to passionate, strong woman full of self-esteem. The fragrance includes aromas of melon, peach and bergamot in top. A heart introduces rose with freesia and raspberry, while a wave of sandalwood can be found in base. The perfume is available as 30 and 75 ml EDT and it aims at younger audience.

We were obsessed with this one back in our school days. Every girl wanted to smell or smelled like this. I was in love with the bottle and its little diamonds lol. Now I go back and smell it and it doesn’t say much to me anymore – a pure teen fragrance, the first love that looking back, it wasn’t as breath taking as you had thought. Still very unique but slightly plastic.

It isn’t my favorite, but since I just bought it for $7 and I see how hard it is to get, I’m not going to put it on ebay…

Nice berry opening, peach and sandalwood + vanilla.Even though this perfume might be a bit synthetic it’s the best from the C-thru collection. This is the perfect teenager perfume and it reminds me of my highschool years.

Fresh fruity melon and peach opening. Joined by juicy sweet and sour berry with watery rose. I smell a really light vanilla as well which later turns a bit plasticky. Overall it’s a very basic scent. It is cheerful, young, and not very strong. Good as a fragrance 101 or use as a fabric freshener. I don’t take it seriously.

Just bought it today 🙂
I had it some 6-7 years ago and now I have different feelings about it. For me being a teenager then it seemed to be very classy. Now wearing it I feel like I’m wearing teenager’s clothes, something quite inapropriate and rebellious.
Dont get me wrong, I am fully aware that this scent sreams fizzzly wizzly teenage, but this is something I crave for at the moment for this hot summer.

I wonder why the review says it’s a new fragrance- I have known it for ages.
I agree with Vertigo, it’s the nicect out of all C-Thru fragrances, I also like Pearl Garden.
It is a nice fragrance for summer, specially for a little lady that starts her adventure with perfume.

To me, Ruby smells less cheap than the others C-Thru and is the most interesting one; although I don’t like it too much anyway 😉
sweet, dazing, for a teenager and for an evening.
