“Butterflies” is the perfect name for this fragrance, going by the way it behaves on my skin. It lands there lightly and briefly, before flitting off into the ether. The name is also apt to describe the beauty of the composition, as well… it is soft, airy, velvety, and warm… but, I do not get anything boozy or spicy that others have perceived. On my skin, Butterflies smells like wispy pink petals, flaky vanilla pastry, and fairy kisses. It could have been the absolute perfect fragrance for me, really… could have been my signature, if only my skin didn’t eat it up right away. Five minutes after spraying, I have to bury my nose in my wrist to detect anything at all. Shame, because it is so gloriously, achingly delicious.

Just sprayed this and all I’m mainly getting is…caramel. Caramel? Really?? Hmm…not at all what I was expecting which definitely makes this one more suited to autumn than these warm spring days.
However, it IS nice and I can detect the cedar peeking through and it’s likely the nutmeg that gives me the caramel impression.
Nyssa is 100% correct in her summary. It really does smell like a Bailey’s dessert with LOTS of Bailey’s to give you that boozy feeling.
It’s nice but I’m tucking it away for cooler weather.

I am wearing this one now and have worn it a few times and each time I wear it I get this same sense but could not put it into words.
Now, I know what it is, I am going to paint the picture as clearly as I can.
Imagine it is late October, first frost, nights are darker and you have more of the cravings that are actually not that good for you but you do not care.
You find a recipe in a magazine that is already preparing you for Christmas Banquets… A recipe called X-Rated Chocolate Cake – X-Rated because it has some kind of kirsch or Baileys. Something that enhances the cocoa element of the cake.
You grate the nutmeg and the pungency hits you straight away (by the way I am not a fan of the spice Nutmeg in cakes) the vanilla essence is added before the cocoa – but when the cocoa is stirred in that is ALL YOU SMELL of the cake batter until the alcoholic element is added.
This fragrance is like that – the smell of Bailey’s and spicy Chocolate Cake batter as you ladle it into the tin. The oven blasts out the smell even more so.
    This perfume is that!!

It starts with enormous blast of alcohol. When it settles i get tiny bit of caramel like sweetness with something sour and metallic pinching my nose. I think it might be hibiscus, it’s always disturbing for me. In general it’s quite pleasant perfume but didn’t really speak to me.

Blindly ordered this one as the notes sound good and the bottle looks sooooo pretty! The bottle lurked me in as I have never even heard of Coleen Rooney…
I just received this and it smells absolutely delicious!
It goes on kinda heavy and rich smelling like… chocolate???
Yes!! It definitely smells like chocolate! My fiance agrees, so it’s not just my silly nose 😉
It actually reminded me of some fragrance I owned before… and the one that comes to mind is La Perla J’aime la Nuit.
That one has amber and orchid which to me also evoke the scent of chocolate. Now, there’s no orchid in Butterflies, but it might be the combination of amber, rose and hibiscus.
I have only experienced hibiscus in Bvlgari Omnia Coral and it definitely has a unique scent.
Butterflies smells dark, sweet, chocolaty, boozy, warm, sexy and sensual! Dispite it’s price tag it does not smell cheap at all!
    Great find, I’m very happy!
    Longevity and sillage are moderate.
