Burvuvu is divine! I think I need to get a back up bottle.
Personally I find it to be quite a romantic scent for special occasions or for any day you want to feel a romantic vibe.
It’s completely unisex in my opinion, a perfect balance of strong masculine woody and sweet honey red rose floral.
The image that comes to mind when I smell Burvuvu is of a scentimental old leather book or journal with a single red rose pressed inside of it, with stories of forbidden love.

I haven’t been this blown away by a new scent in what seems like an eon. Earthy and fertile throughout, the sudden surprise is in the middle stages of development, when a honey-drenched rose peeks through, past the mushrooms and spice, like a solitary flower blooming from under the damp loam of a forest floor to sparkle in the sun, cradled by the growth that surrounds it. Finally, a smooth plank of freshly-cut cedar comes into focus to finish off the arrangement. This fragrance is at once meditative and joyful, classical and quirky. I can’t get enough. John Biebel has done it again!

I am thankful to have my hands on this!
On my skin it is a very green and herbal cedar that is a bit medicinal. The basil, castoreum, and geranium are strong. It does have some similarities with some designer colognes out there but it smells more realistic and natural.
As it settles the rose merges with the cedar to create a super rich woody scent. I am really loving this part. In fact now that I know it is coming I start smelling it earlier and earlier and it really is remarkable how with all of those rose oud scents out there you never see it’s smoother and sappier cedar rose cousin

I tried this fragrance in the stage of its creation and it was amazing! Don’t know how the end result smells but I remember I absolutely loved it. Was very very sexy
