The reviews for Bulletproof by Tokyo Milk made me desperate to try it; however, the reality was a little disappointing. The overwhelming note to my nose is sour milk with a coconut twang. After a while on skin a light smoke accord develops, but it isn’t pleasant… If you want to try and recreate this smell before sampling or buying, take a glass of heavily expired milk, add a drop of coconut oil and heat it on the stove in that one pot you have that always burns even if you stir it constantly. Definitely approach with caution, even if the notes call to you.

I must admit that I did not like this fragrance at first. I bought it blind, based on the notes and the name. On paper this made me want to get rid of it. I am glad I didn’t. This smoked tea has a nice aroma with the coconut milk balancing out the bitterness of the smoky tea. The crushed cedar carries a potpourri type vibe which plays well here. I can’t tell you much about the ebony woods, but I guess it gives this scent a darker character. I took a leap of faith and wore this today and loved it so much on my skin it made me write this review. Thoroughly enjoying this now and adding it to my favorites. It’s a little pricey retail but I think you can find this at Sephora to sample. Try before you buy. This is not for everybody. If somebody said it is an old lady smell, I would disagree but understand.

A cup of lapsang souchong on a rainy day overlooking gently steaming green hills.
The overwhelming note I get here is smoked tea – specifically Lapsang Souchong which tastes like drinking a cup of smoke. The coconut in this is quiet, IMO. There is an underlying tang. Another reviewer mentioned metal but I think it might be the sharpness of ebony wood.
I would recommend this to anyone who’s hesitant to dip their toe into the world of smoky fragrances because it’s not over the top, and as with all TokyoMilk fragrances, the sillage is not overwhelming. There’s something very comforting about this smoke, it’s not in-your-face. Slightly spicy and woody. Not my favorite smoke fragrance but not bad either.

I wanted to love this as much as everyone else, but this one failed miserably on me. I didn’t get lovely smokey tea or anything like that. On my skin it smelled of synthetic, over-sweet coconut scent and the smoke from burning plastic. A nasty mess on me. I’d recommended trying before buying.

I so love this fragrance! I originally got it along with five others in a Tokyo milk dark collection. While the others were a bit overwhelming for me, I fell in love with this one! I love a scent that is strong but has depth. I wear Chanel Madamioselle as my signature fragrance, rotating in Calvin Klein Euphoria, Penhaligon’s Vaara, and India Hicks Island Night. This was the perfect addition to the rotation. It’s start out with deeply creamy incense notes, and quickly dries down to a beautiful coconut and cedar. It has just a bit of a green edge, and a only a hint of sweetness. I wear it in the winter when my husband and I go to our favorite cozy restaurant with the tiny bar next to the roaring fire, and also in the summer evenings when we go to our favorite outdoor bars to dance and enjoy the ocean breeze. This frangrance seems to deepen a bit with a little sweat, but in a dreamy sort of way. Unless you wear scents like this on a regular basis, you will probably find it a bit cloying. It has a huge personality and I think it would not be a good match for most.

UnearthlyApothecary’s review nailed the scent references for Bulletproof. I tried Nirvana Bourbon early in my fragrance travels. Bulletproof achieves what Nirvana Bourbon failed at—smoke done properly.
I love unisex fragrances, but my initial impression was that this is too masculine for my taste. The masculinity toned down quickly into development on my skin, but was much slower on clothing. In terms of longevity, skin & hair: 4 hours. Clothing: at least 8 hours depending on the fabric.
I bought a mini, and i’m considering a FB.. Sometimes it smells like Lapsang suochong and dry coconut in an ebony box. Sometimes it smells like cosmetics on fire, like a powdery perfumed smoke. Sometimes I also get a heavy hit of incense smoke, maybe a little cigarette smoke in there. It’s simultaneously appealing and repellent. Bulletproof would wear well with a leather motorcycle jacket and a DGAF attitude.
I ultimately blended this with Prada Candy. They work well together, each perfume smoothes the extremity of the other.

I’ll start off by saying that the packaging for this perfume, for both the bottle and the roller-ball container, is lovely and fits well with the scent within.
The fragrance begins with the wood and incense notes and finishes with the tea. The coconut is subtle but can be smelled throughout the entirety of the fragrance.
The perfume is bold and unique, but the scent doesn’t project very far from your person. It’s an intimate fragrance, and a hauntingly beautiful one at that. Should anyone in your life be close enough to you to smell this fragrance, I doubt they’ll forget it.

Another weird and wonderful scent from Tokyo Milk. This line takes notes that are unusual and combines them into something compelling/repelling at the same time.
This fragrance starts with a strong smoke note and a hint of unsweet incense. Neither is listed, but those notes dominate the opening. Next, the coconut appears, and it isn’t a sweet, creamy coconut flesh, but more of the dry, woody shell. Tea and cedar complete the mix.
There’s something here that reminds me of bonfires at the beach – smoke, freshness coming off the ocean, coconut from the remains of the day’s sunscreen. It’s certainly not a beachy scent, but it is evocative of those memories.

After dry down very much like Tom Ford’s Sahara Noir. It is an amazing fragrance and lasts 12+ hours. Must have if you love Sahara Noir or incense in general

To make a long story short: I smell like an incense stick being used to stir coconut milk into a steaming mug of tea, and I’m not even mad about it.
To make a short story long: When I test fragrances for the first time, I usually spray my wrist first, knowing full well that it will develop wildly different from when I do my usual sprays: one to the throat, one to the midriff. My very first spray of Bulletproof – after stripping off its cellophane and clumsily tearing the box in my excitement – started exactly like Penhaligon’s Elixir. That’s the only other incense fragrance I own, and my girlfriend hates it on me. I was still excited. Bulletproof had this initial underlying creaminess that set it apart from Penhaligon’s “church incense.” I couldn’t stop sniffing my wrist. It was gorgeous, and I knew it would be different in my full wearing, but I couldn’t help falling in love.
I’m glad I did my full wearing right away. On my wrist, Bulletproof is straight-up woodsmoke, campfire, everything described here… that dries down to a safe coconut vanilla scent. Which is good, great, and different from anything I own. But as a full wearing developing throughout the day… oh my.
    Oh. My.
I read this described as “dark, mysterious” maybe even aloof? I see that. I definitely see that. However, this dark, mysterious entity has a bright, bubbly friend who can always get him to crack a smile, and that’s how I see the coconut interacting with the incense accord. Coconut is broody incense’s quirky friend. And I love it.
This thing just has that “oomf” I see people sometimes cite as lacking in a fragrance. I’m much too addicted to the blind buy to settle into a signature, but if I had one, this would be it.

I absolutely adore this perfume, and love many others from the Tokyomilk line. Margot Elena does a fantastic job at creating unique smelling scents.
I didn’t at all expect the hypnotic coconut smoked tea scent based on the gun art of the bottle. I love it!
Woods blend perfectly with a smoked coconut tea and linger for hours. This perfume has great longevity and I don’t find too many other fragrances like it. I suppose it reminds me a bit of Tom Ford Oud Wood, but with a lot of coconut. It makes me feel mysterious and sexy, one of my favorite perfumes.

This smells like an October night after a bonfire while you wander around in a dark forest smelling the sweet Autumn leaves in the cool arid breeze. It’s enchanting in a way that makes you nostalgic for a time and place you can’t quite seem to remember.

Gorgeous Winter fragrance. Its very woody and deep. Its delicious and sexy. I think this works for both men and women. It does lean a bit to the masculine but I like that. Almost like a Chai Tea Latte but even better….LOVE this one!

  15. :

I love this smell! the woods here kinda remind me of Nirvana Bourbon but the coconut/tea sweetness is reminiscent of Bvlgari Black, I even get a touch of leather although this scent has no leather. As usual with Tokyo Milk I am very impressed by the packaging and composition but heartbroken at the cruddy silage/longevity.

  16. :

The thing about the Tokyo Milk dark series is..you can’t judge the scent by smelling from the bottle. They also seem to have 3 different stages after they are sprayed.
I’ve recently fell in love with this brand and serious. It’s very unique and lovely by its own right. It’s different and exotic.
This starts off strong and intense but settles in gently blending all notes together. On the bottle it’s described as having notes of
    -smoked tea
    – coconut milk
    – crushed cedar
    – Ebony woods
I’m making my judgment specifically on the dry down. It’s a scent of spicy smoked tea a little ceder a little coconut milk blended well together. I believe this is truly unisex. It’s neither to masculine nor feminine while being both. I love the modern black bottles with the theme photo print. Any time of the day friendly. I believe it’s any season friendly however leans more towards fall/winter for women. While any season for men.

I deleted my previous review. Bulletproof don’t need any tweaking. It’s perfect. I do think it’s better in summer than winter. Sort of a welcoming shadow on a too sunny day. The sweetness mixed with the cedar and ebony woods reminds me of some sort of cool and dusty place with a hint of smoke. Like a bar in a basement maybe.

thankfully I only ordered an expensive sample of this..It is really masculine to start with.. think Joop for men.. Im trying to find what so many like about this but the opening has put me off severely and nope I can’t.. I dont recommend buying without trying.

This is what I WANT incense notes to smell like on me: dark and mysterious with out being too thick and cloying.
The sweetness from the coconut and the tea note save it from being too heavy, I think. Unique and light, I can even wear this one to work.

  21. :

I would like to personally thank the saleswoman at the local boutique for ensuring me that this smells better out of the bottle than in because this was a huge surprise. Dark and borderline synthetic when first spraying it on, but that note quickly fades to a mature, dark smokiness from the tea. As the day goes on, the coconut becomes the main note of the perfume with a nice, woodsy background. I prefer gourmand scents and this is very much outside of my scent comfort zone, but I’m so, SO glad I was convinced to try something new. It’s a staple in my routine now.

I have no explanation for this but, to me, Bulletproof smells like London. Yes, that city in England. And I love it. Both Bulletproof and that city in England. Can I be homesick for a place I’ve only visited? Apparently I can, because I am. Bulletproof reminds me of walking through the streets of Camden Town.
It opens with a fairly strident blast of ebony and cedar. As it mellows, the smoked tea comes out with just enough coconut to smooth things down. I’m not a huge fan of coconut anything and I was worried at first that this would smell like cheap sun tan lotion. It most certainly does not. I really don’t even identify it as coconut, just smooth.
The scent finally settles down at about an hour to a smokey tea and cedar. Absolutely delicious. It is definitely an unusual scent, some people may find it a bit masculine because there’s nothing sweet or floral going on. This suits me just fine. I haven’t been wearing it much the last few months because it has been warm and humid but now that the weather has turned cool and crisp, this scent is absolutely perfect. Close your eyes and think of England? I believe I will.

Smells masculine with the smokiness but has a fruit scent in it also that makes it sweet. It’s mysterious to me and I can’t tell if I like it or not. Really does baffle me in that way.

  24. :

This is a smoky incense sort of fragrance. Heavy on wood and smoke, I only wish it lasted longer.
There’s this headshop I used to go to that sold an exotic array of imported treasures in addition to the entire upstairs gated off for ‘smoking accessories’.
When you’d buy clothing from there, the unique aroma of the place would have permeated the fabric thoroughly, infusing it with a melange of a million sticks of incense burned over the years. It sounds awful, but my friends and I used joke that we’d wear a perfume of that scent any day..it was heady and exotic, like a temple in far off lands.
This is it. I took one sniff and I am standing there again, the dreamcatchers, the hoodies, the cases of pewter dragons, incense swirling around me.

Not as dark as I would have hoped after reading several reviews. I am also surprised that many see this as a cold weather frag instead of hot weather. Maybe because the notes have a different vibe on a male’s skin? Who knows, but I get a light smoky, creamy vibe from this. More tropical than dark and very soft on the skin. It’s way more feminine than masculine IMO. Longevity is around 5-6 hours with soft sillage for me.

I love this stuff. It has a delightful smokey scent to it, but complex enough to be interesting. I find it addicting and love to wear it when I am wearing mysterious style looks.
I have a hard time with most scents as they all turn horrible on my skin. Amazingly, this stuff goes well with my skin. Go figure. It has to be weird to work on me.
IT is best for cooler weather, not hot weather as a rule.

I love this one! The opening was a bit harsh being heavily smoky and bitter from the tea. However, the middle and especially the drydown are gorgeous and delicious. The middle has some lovely sweet woods going on. The base is sweet, warm coconut, vanilla and leather. It’s yummy!

I like this perfume, just as I like most everything from TokyoMilk. It’s certainly one of the most unusual fragrances I’ve ever owned. It is equally sweet and smoky, like an ashtray at a bordello. Unfortunately, I have no idea where I’d wear this. It’s too heavy for work, and people would probably think I started smoking. At the same time, like everything else from TokyoMilk, this fades quickly until you’re left with no scent at all. TokyoMilk has no staying power. So far, I’ve only worn this one at home or on the weekends. It’s something I enjoy smelling on myself, but it’s just a little too unique to wear on a daily basis. I don’t know if I’ll buy another bottle.
EDIT: Yes, I’m going to buy another bottle. I’ve experimented with it a bit more, and I think it’s going to make a fantastic fall/winter scent for me. It’s nice on my skin; and even though it’s strong and unusual, I think I can pull it off. It doesn’t hurt that the man in my life loves how it smells on me, too. I wore this to bed one night, and he kept sniffing me. This is a winner, despite its weak staying power.

Creamy dark coconut wood scent, with a touch of vanilla. The wood is at the forefront for me. Warm and spicy. Great lasting power, and sillage.

Tokyo milk is a very interesting range, very hard to get in the UK which is very unfortunate, as we Brits have quite an eclectic taste so i feel its very odd Tokyo have not sought to make this brand more reachable??? best sauce is actually ebay which means blind buying, which i did for Bullet proof, not as great priced for us as shipping costs put the 47ml bottles at around 50 dollars and if you get stung for tax its a whopping 70 dollars, anyhoo, love the bottle design, dont really get any coconut, its definately in the same family as Tom fords Tobacco vanille which i also own and can only wear every full moon (feels like this!!!) as its very very strong, this is much milder, very smokey, hint of sweetness, has that same initial blast of “clove” that tobacco vanille has which i hate, once that has past this settles into a cosy scent , not my hubbys favourite scent on me, big let down is the staying power, with its notes this SHOULD wear better! lasts around 3 hours on my skin and around 5 hours on clothes, smells better on skin than clothing, if this stayed around longer it would be epic, yes i will repurchase but its atad disappointing it doesnt last longer however i am intriged to try more of this dark ranger….getting hold of them, thats the tricky part..x

LOVE THIS ONE. I bought a little box with minis from Tokyo milk and I must say, they all smell good and they all are very unique, although this one its the one that caught my attention. It starts smokey, like burnt woods and when it settles down it gets sweeter, but its a different kind of sweet, its like naturally sweet skin if it makes sense, very badass feeling from it. the Sillage on this one its very good, with the roller ball I get the sillage of a spray, its awesome and it lasts for a long time on my skin. I would say its the perfect scent for cold gloomy winter days or nights. Not sure if I would wear this on warmer days though, I think it would get suffocating.

  32. :

    3 out of 5

Very smokey wood scent that smells like it could be unisex due to the heavy woodyness but the creamy coconut sent is so sweet that it brings it to this strange place of feminine masculinity. very unique scent that just smells like “don’t fuck with me”. It’s a badass smell for a woman in a totally new way. outdoorsy but uber creative and seductive. The name is perfect because I like to wear this when I want the work to know, “NOT TO-DAY!” Or “I am a woman who can build shit”. It sweet and tough in a smoldering way.

  33. :

    4 out of 5

I describe this as my perfume that makes me smell like a sexy campfire. I bought it because it was different from I anything else I had, the price point was very reasonable, and because I LIKE smelling like a sexy campfire. I can’t say I smell much green or coconut on me, though.
I find it lasts for a few hours and fades to a skin scent. One caveat: I like it, but it is not my fiance’s favorite on me. Probably because of the unisex factor; he tends to prefer more overtly feminine scents.

  34. :

    3 out of 5

I like this. It’s kind of weird and a bit sweeter than I expected but it’s totally unique. It’s got a synthetic element to it but it’s one of the few fragrances where I find it to be a positive because it’s unusual and somehow works so I’m down with that.
Although marketed as unisex I think it’s kind of sweet for a man and is more feminine but body chemistry is a mysterious thing so if you’re a man and you dig it then don’t listen to me.
I get tea, a synthetic smoky note that does give a hint of asphalt, sweetened coconut milk, and wood to ground it. Tokyo milk gives deceptively simple note compositions but the notes themselves are created by using other notes that don’t get explained. I want to say maybe a bit of smoked cinnamon or something like it is in there somewhere.
I never wear this but I like to keep my mini of this one in my collection. I’m a collector. It makes sense.

I have tested this on my skin and on clothing. This is such an amazing fragrance. The opening is really strong and smokey, and It was frightning to my friends when I first sprayed it on. I was intrigued immediately because I love woody scents. The scent settled down within half and hour and then it became woody and sweet on my skin. I then sprayed it on my cotton sweater and that’s when this gorgeous perfume exploded! The sweet, warm scent that reminds me of a hot cup of Chai Tea but more creamy then spicy kept wafting up to my nose. Four days later the perfume still sits on my sweater catching every breeze and scenting it for everyone to enjoy. My friends who were taken aback from the first spray are in awe of this wonderful unique perfume. I LOVE YOU BULLETPROOF! I will spray you on my scarf and keep you close to me.

  36. :

    4 out of 5

A little bit of a strange milky musk in the opening which is soon tamed and tethered to the ground with quite deep woody tones. Considering this series is called dark and the striking names and images on the bottles, The two I’ve tried have been very soft affairs.
I like this juxtaposition of the creamy tonka or vanilla/ coconut smell with the density of ebony and cedar. The combination actually conspires to make a good perfume.
The way this dries down is lovely, really mellow and actually is reminiscent of the smell in a friends house as a child. Strange how your olfactory system can trigger random memories you would have never known were there or thought of other wise.
Certainly a likable fragrance and also reminds me of a couple of scents from the house of ODIN.
What my reviews boil down to are ‘Would I wear this fragrance?’ and the answer will have to be a resounding ‘yes…I would.’ Nothing else in my wardrobe like this so it might even make it onto the want list. Longevity is average and stays very cozy and close to the skin but that suits this scent.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

I get zero green notes, tea, or coconut in this perfume. It’s mostly a rich tobacco (despite being absent from the notes list) with tonka bean and ebony wood. Deep, smoldering, and complex enough for the price. $36 for a full bottle, and the rollerball is a rip off for $22. Just buy the bottle or get a free sample. This is now at Sephora and on sale twice a year if you’re a beauty insider, and they give samples in stores.

“Ethereal deep earthy vibe” from below is spot on. When I smell this I feel like I’m walking in a waking dream through a black forest, there is something hauntingly beautiful about these woods, but you want to get lost in it. This smell takes me way back to my beloved woods as a child.
Reminds me of the Sierras in the deep of Winter. I love cedar and ebony and this is a woods lovers dream. Very androgynous and dynamic. It has a sharp synthetic edge to it, but not in a bad way. In a sexy pleather moto jacket style. Indeed this is similar to Bvlgari Black but more woods and a bit of sweetness/creaminess?
Hard to describe, but very well done. Another winner from the Tokyomilk Dark line.

  39. :

    4 out of 5

i got this as a result of the comparisons to bvlgari black, which is probably my favorite scent. I can see some similarities but ultimately they are pretty different.
bulletproof is much more feminine. first sniff all i got was suntan lotion coconut. not a creamy coconut though. the play between the dryish coconut and woods is the closest analogue to the powdery vanilla sandalwood in black.
something about the coconut bugs me. i have to apply a little more than i would like to have the wood/tea overtake the coconut.
black is a lot sharper in the opening. there is a very slight metallic hint in bulletproof, but i wish it was developed enough to parallel the rubber in black maybe. as it is, it reminds me of the metallic undertone to scented sunscreen.
i’m not crazy about this to be honest. it smells kind of disorganized compared to black. i might wear this very sparingly over the summer, or perhaps layered under black to reinforce it since bulletproof projects more and lasts a bit longer.

I think I’ve found new favorite.
Starts off mellow sweet. Then turns into a mechanics garage.
    Mixes well with Bvlgari Black.
Mixes well with Van Cleef Midnight in Paris
Agree, this is an “enchanting deep earthy vibe”
    Aschiffm has the description nailed.
    This is rather delicious.
Could do with some amping up in the Sillage department.

I feel like Tura Santana in Faster Pussycat Kill! Kill! would smell like this.
It’s intriguing, sexy. Like Bvlgari Black in that it has a sweet rubber/smoke type smell, not the same, but somehow related in the fact you need to have the personality to like this. Intense but not in your face and loud sort of way. Intense in the way a cat or a quiet and very confident person looks at you intensely sort of way.
I’m curious how it would smell on a guy. And it falls under “unisex” but for me, for my personality this is a scent that makes me feel feminine and powerful.
Like maybe I’ve been chopping wood for most of the day (minus the sweat) and came inside to make myself tea to relax and put a soothing balm on my hands.
Even that description doesn’t quite do it justice. It’s not for everyone, especially if you prefer floral scents.
    Love this.

  42. :

Coconut in deep smoky sultry woods is what I’ve been looking for recently. I’m still trying to find a replacement for my beloved MAC MV3 that got discontinued. This isn’t a dupe, replica or spot on but something along these notes remind me of it. The smoky tea leaves is also interesting. I wish they added vanilla and leather, it probably would even intensify this gem. Longevity I find you must keep reapplying or go on a heavy hand for it to last. TokyoMilk projects nice avant gard fragrances but they do need to work on Longevity/Sillages despite the line being Eau de parfum.

hairpin roads /steamy tarmac / fresh forest zest /soft leather gloves / light up a cigarette / burning clove & tea /cool down of rubber tyres / hint of coconut
some days it wears cold linear & arrogant / other days its comfortable warm and reassuring, its on the edge of a surrealistic film noir ,wish it would expand more and longer.
layered on a liberal base of bvlgari black/ smooth leather bliss

Freshly applied this had a very strong peaty whisky smell to me – I have a very love/hate feeling about this, as I hate peaty whisky myself but I think it makes up for a very interesting personal fragrance and it is most definitely like nothing else I know.
As it opens up the smokiness settles down and most importantly the harsh alcohol smell goes away, so it begins to smell more like wood smoke. The finish is in my opinion the most feminine part but not in a “whoa this is clearly for ladies” way, just compared to how it introduces itself (which I feel is pretty masculine).
Bottom line: very unique, not for everybody, generally get complimented on it by the more eccentric group of my friends (burlesque dancers, drag queens, artists). Not very expensive though, so you can give it a go and save it for special occasions (the later in the night the better, haha)

  46. :

    4 out of 5

I found this fragrance to be a bit odd at first but over time I’ve come to more than just appreciate it’s quaintness.
Bulletproof is sweet, warm and creamy, slightly metallic and smoky. I think the ebony wood and green tea adds the smoky and metallic facet while the coconut adds the warm, creamy undertone.
The experience is like sipping a steamy cup of green tea while munching on some coconut scones in a poorly lit room, reflecting a faded prestige reminiscent of an era when it used to be regaled in the finery of the time. Now, everything has dulled, is sad and what was once splendorous has now been abandoned. But the smell, rising like mist from your cup, wafting slowly and softly, reminds you that you were once great and that maybe someday you will be again.
Longevity is great on my skin.
    Sillage is also good.
Wears best at night. If the dark knight wore a scent this would be it.
    It’s mature, 30+
Some may think that because of the sweetness it’s feminine, but I find it completely neutral.
    I really like it.

First thing that comes to mind is wood and smoky tea leaves, this contemporary scent has a strong pleasant personality, I think is a deal: not too common for the price, love the name too, slightly leans to masculine but easily unisex,

I thought this looked intriguing, and someone next to me immediately said I smelled like a barbecue. Still think it’s cool, but maybe too much. Definitely want to try again; scents might have been too mingled last time I tried it.

an interesting opening, then it calms down to an animalic vanilla-amber scent, which i assume is the smoked tea. not really my scene, but certainly quite interesting…

A pretty scent, but very very weak which I find to be true of most Tokyo Milk scents which makes me very sad because they produce lovely things

I really appreciate Tokyo Milk making something else other then “pink” fragrances. Bulletproof is very interesting earthy, “dark” scent – something niche brands do a lot.
Smoked tea, coconut milk, cedar and ebony should be right from my alley, cause I love those notes, but some how this smells super synthetic and rubbery on me. Maybe it’s just my chemistry. Or maybe I shouldn’t be too picky for $36?

Notes: Smoked Tea, Coconut Milk, Crushed Cedar, Ebony Woods
Very woodsy, I don’t really smell the coconut milk. I think the cedar is overpowering it. Not a bad scent, just a bit too woodsy for me. Wouldn’t recommend for a blind buy.

I am a huge tea fanatic, so when I read ‘smoked tea’ in the notes, I knew exactly which tea they were talking about – lapsang souchong. These tea leaves are dried/smoked over wood fires, and, depending on the brand, either have a bonfire or rich cigar aroma to them. (And the tea is rich and strong and wonderful, but I digress.)
Bulletproof, on me, is waves of rich smokey scent, with undertones of metal, despite there being no metallic notes listed. I suppose it is the coconut, cedar, and ebony wood combining in some clever way.
I recently wore this layered with Boucheron Trouble to see the second Captain America movie: I felt the combo perfectly fit Black Widow.

Thank you to whoever put that this reminded them of the obscure scent the Antikythera Mechanism from BPAL, because it helped me nail down that this feels like the beautiful lovechild of Antikythera Mechanism and Bvlgari Black. Black is just a little too manly for me to wear, personally, but Bulletproof seems like it will bridge the gap and make it just soft enough for me to wear. I’m quite enchanted with the rubbery leather and smoke smells that seem to present themselves, along with the woodiness and coconut.

Sweet clove-like/ dries to soft/ masculine man or chic woman
    “Come closer.” said Bulletproof.
This one was a sniff n’ buy for the person I was shopping around with. I guess this is apart of the “Dark” line, anyway I heard about these and smelled several, I liked the graphic on the bottle(s) haha.
I like this line and the prices, they seem to be doing something right I hear about them often. Try this one out if you like dry woodsy fragrances.

This smoky scent is a winner. A very manly smell, yet it feels kind of feminine. I want to say unisex, but it’s more like as if it brings out the male part of a woman out and vic
