The Aftershave Performance is quite good…
I don’t like the opening that much..
However the drydown after 2 hours is superb.. the cedarwood is very distinct!!

Alrighty then!!!!
First impression
Brut Alaska EDT
This smells like an aftershave! Strange stuff, cz when i furst sniffed it in a mall (super cool Air conditioned) it smelled cold as f*** and I actually could feel the ice on my face (I thought wow very true to it’s name). Right now i just received my bottle and I’m sniffing it in my room which is 27 degrees Celsius hot and what I smell is not the same stuff but a sophisticated version of Old spice. Hey, I’m not saying I got a fake product. I recognise the smell alright but it smells so different with temperature is all I’m saying. The loudest stuff in this is Amber and Cloves. And I’ve seen that amber ambergris and related compunds somehow activate in heat and perform surprizingly different (like dior sauvage). This will layer very good with aventus clones like CDNIM. It’s fresh spicy out of shower, a dry down 100% identical to old spice original aftershave, it’s sophisticated than old spice but if you’ve had even slight taste of proper scents like say Paco Rabbane, Armani, Dior etc then you will NOT like it. This is school boy stuff.
Update: screw the first impression mentioned above^. It cannot be more wrong. This scent is amazing (Old spice also has amber and cloves hence the similarity but it has like 10 times alcohol too, this one on the contrary is very well done). It starts with a lot of green apple, rosemary and cloves which gives it a strong barbershop feel. Expensive shaving cream type opening. Then the amber shows up in some half an hour and the drydown is similar to dior sauvage with green apple and cloves (they stick throughout). The drydown amber is close to sauvage. 2 sprays lasted 8 hours on skin, more on clothes. Projects beastly for 2 hours (cz of the pepper and cloves) and then settles into whiffs (apply 4-6 sprays on well moist skin and 2 on your fabric). The green apple rosemary clove vibe gives a strong icy cold freshness and the pineapple and vanilla keep appearing in whiffs and MAN they’ll blow your mind. I have expensive perfumes like Creed Vetiver, Armani Code and 1 million, but trust me guys this stuff it beastly spicy cold fresh. And especially in AC conditions it will fetch you more compliments than those mentioned above. It’s a classic!
Finally, Layered it with Azzaro Chrome Legend (another apple based scent). Perfect!
When would I wear it? All the fu**ing time. But still,
Festival to wear this: Holi, Makar Sankranti and Durga puja
Best time of day to wear: early early morning 5:00am
When not to wear: melting hot sun: imo only sea salty notes perfumes work then, like nautica or IM
Age: 16+
Worth buying: in it’s price range it’s the BEST. Hell yes you can’t go wrong with it

I´ve always wondered why some scent that is called “Alaska” contains pineapple… :)))

A really pleasant scent.
Out of the main notes vanilla is definitely the strongest, as Laurensz states it is very linear but that’s alright, throw it on and get on with the day.
Silage is restrained and longevity is alright for an EDT.
Would recommend for the transition periods of spring and autumn.
I wear it sometimes on Fridays at work, it’s a casual laid back fragrance, good value for the price.

dated but relaxing. not enough for re-buy

One of the most underrated fragrances ever.
I can not imagine any person that doesn’t love this juice. No synthetic, all natural and well blended notes make you relax with spicy and breezy feelings.
Average sillage and longevity and very cheap price.
Two thumbs up!
My rating: 8/10

A decent green scent. Quite like it, bit linear though.
Given the price, value for money
