Demeter Bourbon’s got the characteristic ‘charred-oak barrels’ right, in this heavily woodsy scent with smoky goodness. It doesn’t go on nearly as sweet as you’d expect from the Fragrantica pyramid. There’s a boozy warmth, combined with ambrette seed richness on my skin, possibly rounded out with amber. Vanilla doesn’t make a strong presence. If you’ve enjoyed burnt-wood scents like Demeter’s Mesquite, you’ll get along with Bourbon as well.

When I saw the content, I thought at once I’d love to get it. Unfortunately, the 99% of the scent seems to be vodka which additionally lasts for a second. Definitely a waste of money for its weakest longevity ever.
