No. Just no. I love sweet scent but i guess it’s just too much

I love sweet gourmand scents and was looking for an affordable apple scent for every day. After discovering this site last week, I read up on many of them and this popped up. I’d never heard of it so decided to try it “blind”.
Here is the description from the Jeanne Arthes site:
“Boum Vanille and its love apple is the magical world of carnival and circus. Boom! Here you are in the midst of circus tents, cotton candy, and twinkling lights … We find the romanticism of the range boom (boom, boom and your heart is racing …) and notions of mystery, fairy and gluttony.”
Top note: Orange, Apple of love
    Heart note: Apple, Praline
    Base note: Vanilla, Musk
To me, this is very light, sweet and feminine. It smells of sweet apples and sugar. It is very pleasant.
For the price, which is comparable to most body mists, it seems like a good deal. However, it is not long-lasting and had faded to nothing within 30 minutes.
The red bottle is really cute! The only downside for me is the unusual pin/nozzle instead of a cap.

An affordable gourmand that smells of candy apples and chocolate, with occasional sweet-powdery notes resembling Big League Chew bubblegum.
My only complaint is the spray nozzle. The bottle is designed to resemble a grenade (“Boum” translates to “bang”), and the perfume has a cheap clip instead of a cap (perhaps there is an added incentive of reduced manufacturing costs for this design choice). It is very easy to pull off the clip in a way that sends the spray nozzle flying off the bottle.

This perfume smells really good despite the fact that it’s a really cheap perfume. It actually smells better than some of the more expensive fragrances I own. It has a really sweet vanilla scent to it with a hint of apple. To me it smells like candy apples. Sillage is alright, longevity is not that impressive.

I wasn’t that sure about this once after sniffing the nozzle a couple times, but today I decided to try it. The opening is too sweet, synthetic sweet, but it calms down after some minutes. Then you can feel the apple and the vanilla, but still too sweet for me. However, the drydown is delicious, and there’s a hint of praline and musk. I never got to smell orange. The sillage is moderate, but it barely lasts one hour on my skin. Anyway, it’s so cheap I can spray it again every couple hours.
Edit: I can’t stop sniffing my wrist. It smells just like vanilla ice cream. Yummy! I’m getting a bottle tomorrow.

Jeanne Arthes Boum Vanille Sa Pomme d’Amour smells to me like strawberry syrup. What a delicious scent! I want to say that I also smell boozy vanilla which adds a sexy twist on this. Red apple is mostly in the opening for the first ten minutes or so.
Longevity on skin is from weak to moderate. Projection is soft.

    Review from a Man:
    TOO SWEET.
my gf bought this only because of the price (LOL).
i kinda like it tho, but be careful not to overspray this, because it’s too sweet.
definitely smell the apple and very sweet vanilla.
i think it’s more suitable on winter (here in Indonesia is for rainy season) and for late noon and night time.
    score from me: 7/10

Ahh I always wanted to smell like a lipgloss lol. This really reminds me of Tickled Pink, stronger on the vanilla so better than Tickled Pink but it does make me more nauseous. In chilly weather tho its really nice and gives me a happy feeling. I smell some apple indeed and it could be a Bath& Body works scent without the candle/vanilla dna. Casual and fun, not a regret. The drydown is worth waiting for, I absolutely love it. On me it lasts 3 hrs – silage is excellent tho.

This perfume does exactly what it says: vanilla apple, which winds up smelling like candy apple, and it’s absolutely delicious! Longevity could be better.

Sniff a lot of apple and vanilla, very sweet at first spray but it getting soft, I love it, but not really recommended in hot weather, kinda giving nausea and more easy to fade.

Very warm, sweet and boozy vanilla, with a little bit of apple. Becomes better (maybe less boosy) when times go by, but still super sweet.
It’s okay, but not necessarily my kind of scent. I’m sure that my sister would love this, she really like all vanilla fragrances. Good price though!

Not sure what everyone is fussing about. I got this and can’t smell the vanilla. This truly smells like hair product. And I buy almost all vanilla fragrances, what gives

i love the vanilla smell!!! its very strong to me… i wore this to the office and sprayed on my jacket and I must say the sillage is very very strong and everyone could smell the vanilla, BUT if i sprayed on my skin the sillage wont be that strong hahaha… i love also the sweetness and of course the chocolatey smell..yummy!!

  14. :

On me in tropical weather it has poor longevity and soft sillage. Great everyday fragrance I just need to reapply it over and over. I like to wear it at home the most since the scent is quite comforting to me.

I’m not getting any of the tobacco that others have, but I have to say that despite HATING vanilla most of the time, this one drew me in and I actually purchased it. Some days, I just want to smell like a scented candle, and that’s what this is. It’s vanilla and apple, nice for a cozy fall evening. Lasting power is a few hours, and it is surprisingly not sickly sweet.
What would make it better is some apple pie spice, but I suppose I could always layer it with something spicy, or with a cinnamon fragrance oil if I can find a good one.

  16. :

This is just fun. It’s sweet, light apples. A bit of vanilla. Nothing overwhelming here, not too sweet for summer even. It’s a whiff of a carnival at a distance. Easy and fun to wear, glad I got it.

  17. :

    5 out of 5

I bought it strictly because of reviews comparing it to Body Fantasy body spray which I used to own and it smells like sugared apples.
It was a steal at 10 bucks and it really nice scent, it does smell like vanilla and sugar apples. Basic but nice. Lasting power is average but for such cheap deal I don’t mind

  18. :

I own more than 150 perfumes, and this is my sole fruit. Why? It is sweet, crisp, lush, mouthwatering…and exactly like a beautiful, bright red candy apple at the carnival. It is purely edible, with the creamy vanilla hovering over the apple like a dream.
As it dries down, praline starts to show her face more before the whole concoction disappears into thin air…
Men seem to really like this on me. I can understand why.

  19. :

I have 70+- perfumes, most of which my husband is meh about. He loves this little 9.99 cheapie from Walgreen’s. He loves the pipe smell that mixes with vanilla and sweets.

  20. :

    3 out of 5

Boum Vanille smells like an innocent vanilla fragrance when I simply sniff the bottle. When I spray it on my skin, the vanilla swiftly vanishes and is replaced by crisp apple and praline. However, the apple and praline don’t go well together — they clash and fight for top note rather than working together synergistically. They continue this battle for a good while, while the sweetness is near-overwhelming. It was so strong, that I actually felt embarrassed out in public. I felt like the fragrance would overwhelm a room. If a strong, super-sweet scent is a good thing for you, you might like this fragrance. Perhaps, the notes will blend better on your skin than mine.
Another thing about this fragrance is it STICKS AROUND! After feeling too embarrassed about the strong, overpowering scent, I washed my wrist TWICE, and I could still smell the praline! After a couple hours and two washings, the apple had faded and the praline had been tamed. At that point, my wrist smelled of a soft, sweet cappuccino. I found that pleasant. That scent stuck with me for most of the evening.
So this can be a nice scent, and it held a lot of promise — but on my skin, it was just too powerful, “clashy” and cloying.

omg this smells soo good!! vanilla sugared red apples!! I have bath and body works honey crisp apple & buttered rum. It smells just like it!! ahh! so happy to find this dupe!! They are considered fall time scents but can be worn year round because they smell like candid apples!!

Super sweet candy apple…..the red crunchy kind…..very intense!!! Quickly moving thru the syrupy heart and straight to Cherry pipe tobacco. To my nose, it’s very enjoyable.I honestly get very little vanilla. If you enjoy tobacco scents you will love this!

This smells of candy apples. The platonic ideal of candy apples. The Jungian archetype of candy apples. That is the only way to describe it. It is the essence of candy appleness.
It’s pretty good. I’m glad I bought it. It feels like the circus.

  24. :

This is a fragrance my whole family likes to wear regardless of sex.
Smells like Vanilla, Caramel and Toffee Apples. Wears close to the skin but that’s OK because although I like smelling Toffee Apples I would not like to be one.
Dries down to a lovely Musky sweet Caramel but mostly Vanilla with some notes reminiscent of Prada Candy.
Great for days when you just want to have fun.
Jeanne Arthes makes some great budget worthy fragrances, I love the colour and shape of the bottle but the lid could be stronger. Tends to flip off and get lost if you are not careful.

The perfect scent for those looking to smell like the scented pencil-top erasers from grade school. Like apple cider, raspberry syrup and plastic-vanilla.

  26. :

I don’t like this 🙁 it’s not something I enjoy smelling like! It smells like the syrup they’d add to a sno-cone. It seems very much like an artificial cherry flavoring for a drink or frozen summer treat. I get way more cherry than apple and again, it’s not something I’d want to wear, and to be honest, nor would I injest it! Too red dye #5 or something! I have the pink Boum and it’s no knockout high quality frag either but I enjoy it anyway and will wear it for a light hearted sweet pick me up. But I can’t do this one. Swap anyone?

Gentle fruity vanilla.. like eating candy apples at the fair!
This is a very nice and subtle, sweet and warm fragrance. It’s like a candy apple (or “toffee apple”) in fragrance form. At the fairground, you can eat an apple on a stick dipped and covered in melted caramelised sugar. This fragrance I think tries to emulate that.
I get a very nice red apple note, surrounded by a boozy vanilla that is all around it. The vanilla is a little alcoholic and reminds me of pure vanilla extract (not so sweet, but borderline sour-sweet). All this gives a very unique “gourmand” quality to the fragrance.
The house of Jeanne Arthes is (in my experience) a house which always offers good, decent smelling fragrances for a cheap and affordable price. In fact, some of her perfumes often smell a lot more expensive than they actually are!
This is one that anyone can wear from 14 to 40. It’s really inoffensive, pleasant, and people will like the sweetness I think because it’s not so “generic”. Like I said, the boozy vanilla mixed with the apple note is nice. Not so sugary sweet as to fit in with the countless “teen” fragrances. At least this one shows that it has grown up a little, even if it keeps it’s “playful” vibe. A good buy for the money I think. You can’t go wrong if you’re looking for a sweet and playful vanilla with a little edge to it.

Oh my gosh I just got this and I love it! It legit smells just like a candy apple. Smells like something I would wear when the carnival comes to town each summer. So sweet and candy like!

This is a blind buy. There are things I like and dislike about Boum Vanille. I like the sweet, apple-praline vanilla that lasts into the dry-down. It’s pure heaven and very comforting. I also get the slight tobacco note (I’m guessing thats the musk, maybe praline) that many of you mention. I like it, but on me it doesn’t last, unfortunately. I love that sweet vanilla tobacco, but on me it disappears very quickly. And, I agree with perfumeaddiction….Boum is missing something. All in all, though, it’s a very nice, comforting scent and for the money, a great value.

I’m not a snob or anything but after reading comments below I was expecting something quite okay. I was hunting tester and finally generously spritzed it on my wrist.
God, It’s so bad. Cheap and sickly sweet 🙁 with some smokey undertone of badly burn sugar.
I don’t know which ingredient is so awful – is it vanilla or apple? We are know this cheap smelling substitutes for something – here we have orchestra of cheap smelling notes conducing headache.
If you search for something cheap and more or less natural try Yves Rocher -caramel pears, apples and so on.

I got this one but will be taking it back tomorrow. Not because it’s terrible but because I think I most likely have several others on the same line. It’s very sweet to my nose but not nauseatingly sweet. It just does not seem to suit me though because something is missing in it. Also I was hopeful as being an Arthes this also would be a powerhouse but unfortunately it disappears very fast and has no real silage. I would suggest for those reasons alone pass if your considering a blind buy.

this is one of the best cheapies I have ever purchased…this really takes me back! this perfume is almost spot on to the real Pomme d’Amour(French for Apples of Love) reminds me of when I tasted my first Candy apple with my late granddfather the first time he took my brother and I to the carnival :’) and always evokes wonderful memories of tasting and smelling them at fun fairs and halloween festivals. it could be just me but I dont really get any Orange when I spray this on, I get a soft fruity kiss of apples and slight Prailine, the vanilla doesnt wait to show up for long, after the perfume dries sweet old vanilla pops up and embraces with the apple and praline to where this really makes you think of the vendors at funfairs do to a candy apple and cotton candy/like essence. I know everyone here is saying they smell tobacco, I honestly dont smell it ._.; or maybe my nose is weird…
anywho, this perfume is cheap, but nice to have if you enjoy candy, you would have to reapply it one(but oh well, its cheap after all) its on the light side but it is simple and pleasant 🙂 (and yep, safe for kids too)

Smells mostly like the cherry-flavored syrup they use for a snow cone. No orange at all. On me it’s very sweet on first impression, but not in a sickly way. My skin eats perfume, so this doesn’t last or project on me at all. I can see why some people would say that it smells like cherry vanilla tobacco. It does remind me of cherry flavored hookah given time to develop. there’s a hint of smokiness that I have mixed feelings about.

  34. :

I find myself wanting to wear this all the time. On me, it smells just like a cherry-vanilla flavored Chapstick. Yummy!
    I LOVE IT!
I must admit that after reading all the tobacco comments, I stayed away from this perfume for a long time. Tobacco and I do not mesh well. While I do believe all of the tobacco comments, that’s not really something my nose has picked up. After 6 hours of wearing, I get no tobacco. However, even if the tobacco is there, just know it’s not a smoky tobacco – it would be more of a hookah flavored tobacco.

This will sound weird, I like it and I don’t. The beginning is very nice, the dry down not so much. Some smell tobacco, I smell cedar. I mix this with Sugar Apple Fantasy, which helps a lot.

Well, I saw this at an attractive price on line and found this site (amazing resource! Nothings better, or more truthful, than user reviews!). I read the reviews and bought the scent. I have had a mixed experience.
The first sprays are deliciously sweet and fruity- almost to the point of a pre adolescence, child like scent. I had visions of hot summer days under the shade of a tree in my front yard eating fruit and popsicles when I was a little girl.
The dry down was a fully different experience. This is where I am torn. Some here described it as a pipe tobacco like smell, which didn’t deter me in the slightest… another favorite of mine. What I picked up had a lot of… eucalyptus undertone? With a good portion of the sweetness mixed with what has to be eucalyptus or maybe clove, I got something almost medicinal wafting off my clothes in the afternoon after my AM application. I had read the silage was fairly low, so I piled on a bit in the morning to drive some staying power… but maybe that was a mistake.
I can confirm that this is a scent better suited to cool days and our upcoming desert summer won’t be a good time to experiment. I am truly hoping a different application amount coupled with the right time of year will provide the experience I was expecting from this new purchase.

  38. :

    5 out of 5

The first few minutes are very syrupy but then it actually turns out to be a very nice daytime scent. It works better in the heat – I can smelling it wafting up and surrounding me in a cloud of caramel apple with vanilla and a hint of citrus and musk. Sometimes I smell praline, sometimes I don’t, but it’s definitely better when I do.
I definitely think it’s more suitable for younger women or girls. I don’t think I’ll be wearing this often, as I prefer spicier vanilla scents, but it’s a nice refreshing vanilla that I can wear to the beach.

I am a regular user of Jeanne Arthes’ Amore Mio. So recently I stumbled upon Boum Vanille and the packaging really attracted me; the carnival-themed box is just too pretty to ignore. and plus its Vanilla?! I loooove vanilla smells! I decided to test out the smell on the paper tester slip thingy. The initial smell is the sweet vanilla that slowly goes in creamier (probably the praline) and then out bursts the delicious candied apples! That simply did it for me. I was hooked! I grabbed a bottle and went home a happy girl. I started using it for the next few days.
Much to my dismay, I realize that I kinda jumped into the wagon too fast. I do not like the lingering smell that stays on me after a few hours. I can’t smell the vanilla or even apples anymore. All I smell is this strong overbearing tobacco unisex smell which some of you guys mentioned here. It’s really upsetting coz I really love the initial burst of mouth-watering smell and was hoping that smell would stay the same throughout. =( Well, what can I say, I’m not a huge fan of tobacco smells.
If anyone would like to swap this almost full bottle with me, pls let me know! Wouldn’t want this to go to waste because I know I won’t be using it anymore.

This is sooo yummy! It really does smell like candied apples, smells just like pomme d’amour I got in disney land paris! I was there for only a day and a half but ate 3…I could not stop…
I can get strong whiffs of vanilla, apple, and hint of orange for about 30 minutes. Later as the vanilla and apple is sort of chilling out I get the praline. It smells similar to the praline in juicy couture viva la juicy and nina ricci nina. Although I am not saying they smell alike they are very different, just a similar kind of praline note.
I like the sugary apple and vanilla smell the very best! Wish it wasn’t so fleeting. I get about 2-3 hours of sheer joy till I’m itching to reapply. Thankfully this is a cheapo, so if you don’t mind reapplying often this one is a gem!

  41. :

    4 out of 5

    Candied apple at it’s best!
It’s very sweet and very addictive!
Apparently on my skin the praline notes come to the surface really well, as more people tell me they smell chocolate when I wear this…
Usually I’m not fond of apple as a note in perfumes, but in this it’s done great! I agree with the ones that mention that somehow this smells like cherries. Imagine a bowl full of candied cherries, some of them dipped in vanilla and others dipped in chocolate…
On my skin it has good projection and just as good longevity.
    Price/quality ratio is superb!!!
    ♥♥♥♥♥

I have had this scent before! that was my first thought after i sprayed this perfume on my wrists. Vanilla + sugar+ red berries + musk….this is exactly like wonderstruck enchanted and very similar to Ivanka Trump.
Low sillage, but it is going after 1 hour…so let’s hope for decent longevity. But for such a low price this is a gem! if you like sugary red fruit scents. I almost don’t detect the apple and probaby i am anosmic to the tobbacco scent other members have mentioned.

This is my first Jeanne Arthes perfume and I really like it! It seems to be very light and not too fruity. I do agree that it smells just like candy apples and the vanilla smells amazing yet does not overpower the fragrance. But, it is endearing still! I am looking forward to buying more from her collection!

The pleasant surprise awaited me with Boum Vanille Sa Pomme d’Amour. Now this one has some substance to it. As I sit here writing this seven hours later, I still can smell this enjoyable fragrance on my arm. Boum Vanille is definitely not for the faint of heart, either. It is sweet. Not necessarily candy-like sweet, although that’s the first impression.
When I first sprayed it, I thought candy apples. And I wondered how could anyone want to smell like a candy apple? But then within minutes the drydown began and I was pleasantly surprised. This perfume began to mellow down into a very pleasant cherry pipe tobacco type fragrance that is wonderful for the colder weather. The vanilla seems to sit inside the tobacco while the musk lends credence to this perfume’s solidarity. I can see myself wearing it when the weather turns brisk again next year, when snow begins to fall, and when the fireplace is going during the holidays. It’s that kind of perfume.
It lasts for hours, which for the price point of 9.99, is incredible. The bottle size is 3.4 oz with a cheesy little plastic sprayer that if you’re not too careful can easily pop off and break, so beware. But the juice inside is well worth it.
As a matter of fact, it reminds me very much of Royal Apothic Edwardian Fireplace. If you’re looking for a unisex scent that talks to you of a pipe tobacco, this is it, albeit packaged in pink. It’s not cloying at all. It can be strong depending on how it’s sprayed, but again, for the season, it’s a delight. Or, consider this a rainy day tobacco perfume. This floral-fruity certainly has it’s uses. But I can see why one would enjoy this perfume. It’s different.
Again, try before you buy if you can.

I won’t lie: I bought this blind and I expected it to smell like POPCORN since it looks like a popcorn box 🙁 so yea, I’m disappointed. LoL. But I guess it could still smell like the circus… like the syrup on a red snow-cone & funnel cake. Cute.

Very pleasant fragrance for the fruit and vanilla category, and – for once! – fairly priced. The fact that this is not my personal choice in scents doesn’t alter the good quality of this recent release. Nice!
I noticed that this is clearly the most popular of the Jeanne Arthes Boum releases…. My Walgreens sold out of the Vanilla almost immediately, while the other two scent choices are still languishing on the shelf. Vanilla often appeals to both the cautious ( those in my vicinity ) and gourmand lovers everywhere. 🙂 This one is a real crowd pleaser.
A good giftable and a Stunning Bargain. This is NOT a little bottle. Good job, Jeanne Arthes!

The idea was cute, but I have to agree with the reviewer who said it smelled like apple chewing tobacco. I don’t mind tobacco scents if they’re done right, but this smelled less like a good cigar or pipe tobacco and more like a flavored blunt. It just didn’t do well for me. I mean, it’s what you could expect for 10 bucks, but still, not for me.

  50. :

Very surprised there’s no cherry note listed. I can definitely smell it. Reminds me most of cotton candy and cherry. I really can’t detect the citrus either.

  51. :

Research says that men love vanilla and generally food-type scents, and this is a happy mix of vanilla, and a tiny bit of orange and soft cotton candy, with a classy musk of confidence-building tobacco that’s soft enough to remain perfectly feminine. This perfume is very young, but, it’s later softening to a musk that is so soft and alluring it makes itself accessible and wearable for any age. It is for the girl inside the woman, even more than a girl, because of the lingering, very soft musk. The apple you smell first, but the smokey tobacco and candy floss are tied together and become the main feature after the first 5 to 10 minutes of wear. On me, it has a soft sillage, which is perfect for an inexpensive perfume, and gorgeous to wear day-to-day. It lasts surprisingly long for me (6 hours at least), but remains close to the skin and constant there. I am afraid I like this too much. Don’t get me wrong: this isn’t just mainly about the candy, there is also a slight citrus that balances everything along with the musk.
There are a lot of very popular, designer fragrances that are very much candy-inspired, and this is much prettier, I think, a lot more appropriate to wear for a more mature woman. Please don’t let the low price fool you; try it from the tester and give it 10 minutes, and you will love it if you love sweet fruit and musk joined with a touch of vanilla.
    This “Vanille” is the “Boum”!

Wow! Super vanilla syrup! It is very candy like. I live in Hawaii and we have shaved ice stands and this stuff smells like the strawberry syrups! But it changes pretty quickly to something else very subtly almost cologne like. I’m not sure how to describe it. Not my fav but I don’t regret buying it. Almost a body spray type sillage.

  53. :

    4 out of 5

Imagine a Red Delicious apple dipped in a syrup flavored with Red Hots cinnamon candy and vanilla extract; that’s what this fun, whimsical scent smells like to me. Sillage is moderate and I could see having to reapply throughout the day if you want to achieve greater longevity. This is going to sound nuts, but once the sweetness of the candy apple dissipates, the drydown reminds me quite a bit of Le Couvent Des Minimes Cologne of the Missions. Boum Vanille is a great casual cool/cold weather fragrance, the box and bottle are adorable, and for $10 you can’t go wrong.

Today I am like Bob Cratchit, shivering in a ridiculously cold workplace with anemic heating. However, I am getting sweet whiffs of sugar and vanilla, and my warm breath activates the juicy red apple. This is spot-on for a bitten candy apple, the kind with the shiny hard shell. I wasn’t sure about this right after I sprayed it on this morning, but now that it’s had a chance to develop, it is very, very nice.
EDIT: I forgot to add that you should be very careful with pulling off the little plastic “pin.” The sprayer head is just sitting on top of the stem, and it will fly right off. It’s easy to put back on, though.

this is candied apple at the fair deliciousness…almost smells like cherry and vanilla…right up my alley…love this so much..going through a red candy fruity scents with vanilla phase and just wanna swim in it forever..it starts out sweet but then it transforms and gets sweeter and more vanilla..i love the transformation in this..its moderate all around but the scent is too sweet and cheap not to love it..i love jeanne arthes perfumes..i got the last two they had for 9.99 each..so cheap for a fun scent

I really love this perfume! Suitable for younger girls. This represent girly, cutie, and sweet teenager, as the scent itself.
Really notice the apple and praline at the first spray, and it ends up with musky-yet-sweet scent. The vanilla actually comes in the end too, sweet just like cotton candy. It’s longevity is kinda moderate, I still can sniff cotton candy in my arm after 6 hours but very soft like it’s gonna fade.
4.5/5 for this perfume! Almost a perfect perfume for me but I just don’t like it’s unconvenient bottle’s spray. It’s easily cap off. And the bottle cap formed like a clip, very easy to separated.

I bought it because of the “vanilla” and curious about Jeanne Arthes fragrances.
I have to admit that for fragrance with nice price, Pomme d Amour is quite nice.
Even its first spray is very piercing, the base notes stay longer and smells good.
But I can’t use it because the silage and longevity is very weak, I must respray it every two hours!
So I give it to my little daughter, and it smells very very yummy on her!

This is a wonderful, sweet, rich vanilla. And it does smell like a candy apple! The bottle even looks like a candy apple! It’s exactly the same color as one.
I like the box too. It has a picture of a circus tent, and red and yellow stripes covering the box. This represents circuses, carnivals, candy apples, and fun.
At first,I didn’t know why apple wasn’t in the name, but my mom told me that “pomme” is French for apple.
Candy apples, and vanilla. This is just the gourmand that I need in my collection! I wish it were even stronger!

Fun, happy, uplifting, comforting, energizing and absolutely delightful and delicious. Reviews prompted a blind buy, on-line for just over $13.00 USD for a 100ml bottle and I consider it a successful purchase.
“Candy apple on the boardwalk or a carnival midway” as the box design suggests. Mouthwateringly sweet but not cloying because the vanilla maintains the bitter bite of genuine vanilla extract (of the baking variety). Orange adds a bit of sour “snap” and musk smooths out the drydown. This all makes sense if you’ve ever bitten through the sweet, scarlet crackle of a candy apple’s coating and into the tart Red Delicious apple inside.
All said, highly recommended for a fun summer fragrance despite the 2-3 hour longevity. A safe blind buy for apple lovers.

I won this bottle in a generous giveaway (thanks!). I don’t really get tobacco from this fragrance, which is fine with me. What I do get is the caramel. I seem to get a slight popcorn scent too, but maybe that’s just part of the caramel. The apple’s there too, but the caramel/cotton candy is dominant. It’s a hit with my kids.
Sillage and longevity are kind of low on my skin, but that never bothers me; I just reapply. I probably wouldn’t have heard of this fragrance had it not been for this giveaway, but I love it!

I think this is very good perfume for a really good price. At first i smell very sweet vanilla, and because of that, i always sniff my hand (i love vanilla fragrance very much). then i smell something different, like mint. I don’t know where they from, well i’m just a newbie with perfume. But i still think this is the best edp in this price range. and also it last 6 hours in my skin. So, overall i LOVE this perfume!!

I purchased this online. I was looking for some reviews, at the time there weren’t any. OK, so I did a blind buy. It didn’t cost much so I thought why not take a chance. I found it to be very playful, young, sweet but yet fun! It didn’t seem to last long. Not sure since when you wear perfume sometimes….it’s there and others can smell it but you can’t. I’m not unhappy that I bought it because it smells of all the good things I like in a perfume, a fun perfume. You know, different moods for different days. Just to say, I do like some sweetness in my perfumes but classy sweet not cheap sweet. For the price, why not, especially if you like vanilla. I like vanilla in most of my perfumes.
