So after spending a while chasing a mosquito round my room I googled “scents that repel mosquitoes”. And found an interesting tidbit in several articles online. They found out that a variety of Victoria’s Secret Bombshell keeps mosquitoes away for about 2hrs. Unlike floral perfume that is usually said to be attractive to mozzies, it seems that the combination of notes (orchid, passion fruit and peony) used here is really unpalatable for the blood suckers. Good news for all bombshell lovers!! I have never tested this fragrance and suspect I probably wouldn’t fall for it, being a fruity floral, but why not share this information… worth a try in a situation like mine (i.e. non-disease carrying mosquitos in bedroom scenario…).
Since I don’t have this scent in my collection, I will probably now spray on some oriental floral from my wardrobe and upon waking, find myself covered in bites 🙁

To me, out of all three Luxes, this one by far has the prettiest crystal bottle design. The Pink crystals are very sparkling and shiny in reality. My favorite one in just bottle design. The White crystal comes second and then the Multi crystal.
This one smells exactly like the original Bombshell (therefore no need further discussion about its notes and longevity), meanwhile the Multi Luxe smells sweeter with more fruity notes (my favorite one from Luxe line for the smell). I’m still waiting for the White crystal Luxe to arrive and will complete all 3 reviews 🙂
