Screecchy opening, may hurt your throat, once it calms down, you get this lemony vetiver, the sweet creamy honey woods rest next to the golden tobacco leaf, distant relative of the new aramis Tobacco reserve imo.

I love and appreciate this fireplace/burnt wood/tobacco fragrance, as well as the bottle design. A+. As soon as this brew hits your skin, POW!, it’s like something is on on fire, burning, something is on fire in your house. It’s amazing that the smoke detector in my room didn’t go off! Underneath the smoke is sweetness, rich tobacco (sweet), nutmeg, and sweet varieties of cedar, guaiac, palo santo. I may start a special savings account to be able to purchase a full bottle of Bois Sikar someday. Maybe I’ll rob a bank,

It’s more of BBQ type of smoke (or what people call oud) than what Jean-Philippe Clermont said “dedicated to good Havana cigars in a hand-made cedarwood humidor, in combination with aged single malt whiskey with a pronounced peaty smell”.
Now i can’t deny that when i saw what he wrote about it i imagined what he said:
Cuban cigar = yes
Burned smoked = yes
Gentlemen Club = NO
Aged whisky = YES
Oud = Maybe
It’s more creamy than dry, and it doesn’t fit gentlemen club as Jean-Philippe said cause GC is more of insecure men who are full of S#$t as they lean onto the fresh “Russian leather” labelled blends with doses of geranium, citrus, and vetiver while “Bois Sikar” leans & fits the Mafia gang with their vicious & classic style.
It’s similar to the type of oud (incense) in “Interlude Man” by Amouage, so if you are into harsh tobacco, aged whisky with creamy texture then this is a must try.

unbearable burning woods,rubber opening.i had to put Chanel Eau de Tendre above this scent. some flowers to make this wearable. fortuntely later i could not feel it..or at least my nose could not smell.. maybe other people did 😛

Was fortunate enough to be sent a free samples to try from atelier des ors which I appreciate so much, unfortunately I don’t like it, maybe on my skin, it has a barbecue vibe to it which is a sweetness, which maybe coming from the gaiac wood, it only this was replaced by a boost note it could have been even better, I appreciate the artistry but not for me… ps… my number one fav scent of all is lune feline by the same house so it’s a case of taste in this one.

Shouldn’t there be a Whiskey note in it?
It is really dark and heavy scent with a lot of boozy nuances specially in the opening, strong ashy, smoky dry-down still with the whiskey tones. Incredibly unique and powerful creation, at this moment I can not really say if it is similar to any fragrance I know and I would say it is one of the strongest performing fragrances I know, up there together with the Erba Pura, Tobacco Vanille and Dior Homme Parfum, it is really strong.
Almost used up all the decant, really looking for a full bottle! Just incredible!

This is a dark, rubbery smokeshow, fascinating and nauseating in equal measures. It’s the loveliest tire fire there ever was, but still a tire fire. You must have courage to pull this off; you’ll smell like a trampled campsite for hours and hours.

On paper this sounds amazing !
