I have several from this house and this is by far one of my favorites. It’s so so good… woody WITHOUT being too heavy. The patchouli and musk really adds just enough to give it that perfect balance. What a very unique composition…. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!

I had this one before but I had to give it away to a friend of mine , sometimes i liked it and sometimes it gave me serious headaches.
this fragrance is really dry and has almost an ash-y smell , if i had to choose one close scent , it would be LIDGE , they’re not at all similar but they share the same dryness , non-sweetness , replace the citrus and cacao in Lidge by only dry woods and you get Bois des Indes.
It’s however a perfect fall or rainy day scent IMO since it’s really woody , in fact too much woody to my taste , dusty and old in a weird way , i do not smell other things than Wood , even not a hint of amber, musk or patchouli to smoothen it a bit.
It reminds me a lot of the smell of old houses or old books that remained in old wooden bookcases, strange right ? So for me , it’s perfect for a mature man in a rainy day of fall.
However , I gave it to my friend and on his skin , it’s amazing , maybe because he’s black skinned and it makes the scent “different” but I have to admit that it’s really a beautiful fragrance on other people , it’s just not for me.
