I received my sample pack of One Seed scents yesterday, and even though was already wearing perfume, I couldn’t resist trying Bohemia – I’m a sucker for chocolate scents. When it first went on, I got an initial blast of orange chocolate, like a freshly opened Terry’s Chocolate Orange, with a hint of chocolate cherry liqueur. Then the rose and pink grapefruit popped out. The blood orange note is quite sweet, especially combined with the apricot and rose, so until you know how your skin handles it, I’d advise applying lightly and seeing how it develops. The chocolate note disappeared on me quite fast, but that’s ok – the rose in this is beautiful and makes up for it. Looking forward to trying the rest of the samples, and for $49 (plus postage) for seven generous 2.5ml spray bottles it’s great value. Definitely no armpit or pee smell to be found here.

Lovely natural fragrance.
I do smell cacao. Cacao powder & cacao butter… you know, raw stuff.
(The day I received the sample vial, it made me make some chocolate. LOL)
On my skin, Bohemia reminds me of Youth Dew.
It’s NOT AT ALL strong like Youth Dew, but similar.
I like Youth Dew’s Insenc-y Spiciness, so it is a complement.
Bohemian indeed.
Woth buying a full bottle.

It’s beautiful and chocolatey, however does not last very long on my skin.

I’m wearing my sample of Bohemia and I’m enjoying it so much.
But first, this scent is not really new to me. As an amber lover, this reminds me of several other amber based fragrances. Such as Rania J ‘Ambre Loup’ and Sama ‘Ambre Rose’. Like those fragrances, this is an all natural, resinous scent that recalls autumn and cozy sweaters.
Or for a mainstream example, Bohemia is like a more refined version of L’occitane Amber with an added cacao note.
It’s incredibly warm, cozy, with the right amount of sweetness, making it perfect for cold weather.
Citrus notes are not lasting or that obvious, and I can’t really smell any jasmine or rose. Bohemia is all about earthy, resinous, warm notes with a bit of spice, lots of tonka bean, just enough vanilla, and a nice chocolately twist.
Beautiful!
