Description

Blue Agava & Cacao is inspired by the rhythm of Latin music: the clear citrus rhythm of lime and grapefruit is followed by the exotic melody of blue Agava flower. Oriental base accords speed up the rhythm and warm up the composition.

The top notes are exotic Birgaradia citrus, lime oil, grapefruit, cardamom, and red berry.
The heart is composed of blue Agava flower, sea salt, orchid, geranium and white lily.
The opulent base unites cocoa, vetiver, cinnamon, musk and vanilla.
Blue Agava & Cacao was launched in 2006.

All Jo Malone fragrances can be combined with others of the same line. The Jo Malone house says that Blue Agava & Cacao can be combined with White Jasmine & Mint or with Amber & Lavender.
The Fragrance Combining Palette can be seen at Jo Malone web site.

All the base notes stood out the most on me, as a warm, spicy and gently sweet combination. The cacao note was not vivid but I could smell its present in this yummy composition. It is like a comforting cacao “beverage” version for adults (without the “sugary sweet” and “milky” flavors, and instead, it has a dark, spicy chocolate, got “sweetened” by vanilla). It is SO unique (a very RARE scent that does not remind me of anything), beautiful and well crafted fragrance for ladies and gentlemen. And of course, they had to discontinue it to “enhance” its legend!?!?!? :(((
Out of all the discontinued Jo Malone colognes, I treasure this one and the Black Vetyver Cafe the most to their last drop (for their UNIQUENESS).
(I tested Pinrose Gilded Fox at Sephora just out of curiosity, and NO, it does not smell close to Blue Agava & Cacao at all, even though they both have cacao note. Blue Agava is MUCH more sophisticated, fresh AND more refined compared to Pinrose Gilded Fox, in which the cacao note smells more “loud” and “cloying”, “artificial” to my nose. Gilded Fox smells more similar to the new NEST Cocoa Woods. Period).

This fragrance is so unique, floral gourmand scent that mixes well with other Jo Malone colognes. I wish it was not discontinued as it is one of the best in the Jo Malone range in longevity and also uniqueness. I am wearing it today mixed with Myrrh and Tonka and it is lovely, warm and cosy (It is still cold here in Australia so it is the perfect combination for this weather). I hope that this is brought back – even if it becomes part of a limited edition collection so if anyone has missed out on this beauty, they have a second chance at trying it.

What I want to know is why was this fragrance discontinued? As soon as I heard it was on its way out, I ran in store to buy a backup.
This is probably the only Jo Malone fragrance that my nose enjoys. Being an EDC, I don’t expect it to wear for a long while, so it isn’t a surprise that it only lasts a few hours on its own. However; I love pairing this with other fragrances to add more creamy sweetness to it – it also makes the fragrance a little more unique to me. Scents like Byredo’s Seven Veils can be a bit much on me, but layered with Blue Agava and Cocoa, it is exactly what I wanted. I honestly only reserve it to be worn with other scents at this point because on its own it’s a bit of a waste. I don’t know what I’ll do once it’s been kicked.

Don’t be fooled by the votes! Blue Agava & Cacao is by no means a typical floral vanilla chocolate perfume. This scent is best interpreted by the pyramid: the opening is quite reminiscent of Coca-Cola: fresh, floral, gently spicy with an artificial flavour nuance. The floral orchid accord becomes more apparent as the perfume settles, which seems to be the perfumer’s interpretation of blue agava flower. The cacao is present at all times, leaning more to the milk chocolate side but far from giving a pure gourmand feel as linden, cardamom and orchid are in the mix. It’s one of a kind and I really enjoy wearing this when I want to smell “different”. The perfume wears linear, and lasts a good 7 hours with five sprays. I’ll cherish my bottle while it lasts, but *probably* not a repurchase.
@RoyalPerez516: The living cologne series was released at around 2007 and they serve as both room spray and cologne. The marketing description says, “… combin[ing] the concepts of a skin scent and a home fragrance, [a] first-of-its-kind, Living Cologne is a brilliant way to scent your skin and extend to infuse any environment.”

So strange, I have a GIANT bottle of a cologne called “Blue agave a living cologne” by Jo Malone, but it is missing the “and cacao” on the bottle. It is old, I got it from my mother like 8 years ago. Could this be like one of the first bottles jo malone put out and it was just called blue agave?
very curious to know if others have something similar.

This one didn’t work on me at all. The cocoa and agave notes never melded and they actually fought, giving me a spiky, muddy weird scent that smelled like I’d layered two cheap scents one on top the other.

blind bought this cologne in accordance with such great reviews..kinda disappointed because I thought it would smell like milk chocolate-mint…i can’t smell the cacao in it, only the lily, vanilla and the warm spice..I might consider buying another cologne fro JM to layer with this blue agava & cacao..

Love this scent. Mmmm…. also layered with white jasmine & mint. Gives it a fresher kick. Love it alone or layering!

First note that hit me was the cacao. Deep, dark, rich chocolate. A little bit of spicy, sweet creaminess came out afterwards. Unfortunately I only have a sample of this. An SA recommended that I layer it with Jo Malone’s Oud and Bergamot cologne. Boy, that is one sexy combination!! However, when they are combined the Blue Agava and Cacao is very fleeting. I definitely want to explore this fragrance a little more.

I wrote this off when I first sniffed it in 2007. By the time this was release, Tom Ford Black Orchid had came out and I was under the spell of this Avon fragrance call Extraordinary. All of this mention fragrance , along with Jo Malone Blue Agave and Cocoa had the note of chocolate.
One reason I wrote this off was because of how it was label by the company, by magazines and sale clerk. This was always label in the floral category. So I guess I trick myself into think it was not gourmand , sweet fragrance. It was after I owned Vanilla Anise and Mimosa and Cardamon that one day at the sales counter I re sniff this and was surprise at how much it reminded me of Avon Extraordinary (by this time discontinued). Both combine chocolate and liquors notes( Extraordinary had champagne and chocolate) and Agave ( Tequila ) here mixed with the cocoa.
I’m now an owner of this and realize how similar it is to Mimosa and Cardamon( a note repeated in this fragrance). So with cardamon, cocoa, there’s really nothing floral about this. The Agave doesn’t count.
Also , unlike other Jo Malone COLOGNES, this one has a little longevity than others. Great in Winter, and nicely sophisticate. Great frangrace

I also heard this is going to be discontinued (or has been and what stock is currently left is all there is). I purchased this fragrance 3 months ago, after sampling and loving it, but I felt all I could smell with my bottle was overwhelming musk. I was very disappointed. However, it then seemed to mellow out over the last few months and now I smell chocolate and vanilla and spice. I don’t smell floral or citrus, but the musk is still there underneath. Did the chemicals settle? Maybe! It layers really well with Nectarine Blossom and Honey – so delicious!
Blue Agava and Cacao is a perfect night-time sophisticated (a first-date, alluring first impression) scent that is so unlike any others. I will have to get my hands on another bottle before it no longer exists and store it away. It’s such a complex and unique scent and you won’t be disappointed.

i wasn’t too much of a fan when i sprayed it on the tester strip (too floral for me), but i like it on my skin. the cacao and vanilla are in the forefront, but something gently floral keeps it from being candyish. i don’t detect any “spice”. it’s overall very pretty and elegant, but still casual enough for me. i’m strongly considering a full bottle when my Nordstrom fragrance goddess comes back from family leave.

I heard this is going to be discontinued! I am so sad! It is a really nice warm and spicy scent with floral all around. It is quite unique in the Jo Malone collection of scents, in my opinion. It has a chocolate vibe, with vetiver, musk, cinnamon, and more in the base of it.

There is a bubblegum freshness to this, which i love.
Gourmand but also a hint of spice and very clean and warm smelling.

I get minimal chocolate and spice. It’s mostly a nondescript, floral, perfumey smell to me. A little disappointing.

Still not sure if I like this one.. When I tested it I loved it. But now, sometimes, there are days its smell reminds me of a crayon. Having said that, it adds a very elegant touch when combined with other JM fragrances. So far I have combined this with Peony blush and Suede, Earl Grey & Cucumber, and the result was amazing and it also prolongs their longevity. I can’t wait to layer it with other JM perfumes.
Also when combined with Yves Rocher’s Moment de Bonheur (that imo ressembles a lot Chloe’s EDP)it evolved into a powdery, sweet flowery fragrance which was an unexpected and pleasant surprise!!

This was love at first sniff for me. Every time I reach for it, it smells better. The predominant note is linden blossom. It takes me back 50 years, to a day I spent in Wales, collecting and pressing leaves and blossoms. The smell of linden, pressed on high quality card came flooding back. The scent simmers on my skin like a small, flickering, purple flame. The chocolate and cardomon blend in beautifully. I can’t imagine ever being without it, and have a stash of it as a hedge against ebay profiteering, which is becoming an inevitabilty when fragrances are discontinued.

  23. :

This is probably my favorite all-time scent! This is not a sickly sweet, bubblegum gourmand. It is sexy, sultry, deep, mysterious. Spicy chocolate, warm skin musk… sooo beautiful!!!

This is one of Jo Malone’s better creations.
It is the kind of fragrance I immediately thought of as being what I would use for an art opening, a networking meeting, maybe even a date – because it is memorable and very different.
I really like how they have constructed the use of the chocolate note amongst the sweet nectar of the Agava… it is a splash of the unusual and the beautiful in your day. For some reason, I always see teals and turquoise and cerulean shades around it and it strikes me as a little bohemian. There’s something very exotic but also very artistic about it… definitely a perfume for an artist, I think.
As a photographer and writer this suits me well, and I will enjoy producing her for the occasions that call for her special touch.

I have this on today and I really like it which is unusual coming from me as on the tester card I hated it but on my skin it somehow works! This reminds me of holidays for some reason! I have no idea why but it is warm and spicy without being too over-powering like pomegranate noir (in my view) I definitely get a sweet top note on this but with a fresh yet warm dry down if that makes any sense!
Very unusual and not like anything else I have smelled! I like the unusual ones!

  26. :

I usually like Malone fragrances but this one, not so much…. I find it thick.and more masculine…the agave smells a bit thick, and I much prefer their more floral creations…I don’t like cocoa in fragrances, so this one is not for me anyways!! But definitely an interesting combination..

I have had the pleasure of wearing 3 scents from the Jo Malone range; Blackberry and Bay, Mimosa and Cardamom, and Blue Agave and Cacao.
These ones I love because I believe that these partnered notes really do bring out the best in each other.
The fresh spicy bay leaves, for instance, really bring out the fruitiness of the blackberries for the Blackberry and Bay scent.
Blue Agave and Cacao is no different.
It was actually my first JM fragrance, and I chose it because of the sweet cacao notes.
I have to admit, I had never heard of Blue Agave before, and was surprised to find out it is a succulent plant, grown mainly for the production of tequila.
I don’t know about you; but sadly I could not get a tequila note from this. If there is one, it is very feint.
What I could smell, however, are the spicy and sweet cacao and vanilla notes, as well as quite an imposing floral.
I had to consult the perfume’s official description for a clue, and believe it is the white lily which gives the scent its boisterous nature.
Finally, vetiver and vanilla round this scent off to a luxurious, yet easy-to-wear, light gourmand.
If you are after a sophisticated scent with cacao, this is the one to go for.

A very different scent which stands out. My man loves it. It gives off a sunny feeling, definitely Latin nights.

I don’t get any cacao whatsoever. Just screechy florals. It’s smells cheap and nasty and a bit like hairspray. The idea of layering it with Pomegranate Noir which is like getting smacked round the head with the huge black pepper grinder you get in Italian restaurants just makes me want to gag. Sorry.

My warm, sweet chocolate, not a bitter piece of it, milky and melted. My vanilla/caramel candy, beige and light, for yellowish autumn sunsets. My long silky scarf, that is flying around my shoulders, embraces me with its soft smoky feeling of sadness, which gives me hope for the bright future. Too tricky and sweet for summer, just right for the beginning of fall. Love you, my piece of cake)

I am on a chocolate kick so I decided to try Blue Agava and Cacao, with high hopes.
After smelling this fragrance I came to the conclusion that the “agava flower” note is aguamiel, a.k.a “honey water”, a.k.a agave nectar. It’s opening reminded me of “Kiss Me Tender” from NPC, but that was only for a moment, for Blue Agava and Cacao soon turned into a powdered, spiced Mexican cocoa scent with light-sweet agave nectar, natural vanilla, and a touch of earthiness. Lovely.
I really liked the smell…for the 20 minutes it lasted. It was easy-to-wear and not too cerebral; however, the Jo Malones are consistently weak in projection and lasting power. I understand they’re light and meant to be layered (clever way to get consumers to spend more!) but I am thinking this line is overrated. Sad, because a few of the scents are strong in concept and are pleasant. I’ll keep trying, but I really wanted to love THIS one! 🙁

Blue Agava & Cacao dries down to a soft sweet cocoa that’s delicious, comforting, wearable, and huggable. The chocolate-cinnamon skinscent combination is supremely cozy. Makes people lean in to get a better sniff. Delicate and rather fleeting, not overwhelming at all. A must-try for the shy chocolate-note lovers. The opening seems to have amber in it, but that goes away quickly.

This reminds me of those gourmet dark chocolate bars — lime and spices mixed with a chocolate note that is sweet but also has a woody/unsweetened cacao character, like baking chocolate. Delicious but not too sweet, the spices and florals are very well blended with the cacao note. The linden and other flowers make it breezy and fresh, the cacao warms and smooths the composition, and the spices make it stand out as an accent, just as spices do in cooking. Surprisingly fresh! Great gourmand scent for summer or hot weather. Wearable any season, any time!

This is a good, very unique scent. It is my husband’s favorite. I found the top notes to be better appreciated from an atomizer. The lime blossom and coriander are lovely, but fade within an hour on my skin. Although the warm notes are listed on top here, they are the ones that linger on me. I get warm, comforting, slightly sweet, but definitely not cloying, dry cacao that is well balanced with vanilla and a teeny touch of spice. Longevity of the warm notes is good. Overall, this is a warm, distinct scent that blends some opposing notes very beautifully. It is comforting and somewhat foody. I don’t get sexy, but my husband would beg to differ.

I have to say, firstly I am not one of those “this is a girls perfume, this one a guys” but I will say however that this scent leans towards the femenine side of scents. It is rather sweet and gourmand, but with a little zest added for good measure.
It is a lovely smell, you can definitely pick out the agave as it is first and foremost, then as it settles down the vanilla and cacao cradle it to tenderness. It is a butterflies in a field of lillies and berries kind of scent, one of those scents that equal tranquility and peace.
Well done, just not my taste. I like darker, mysterious scents.
scent 7.5/10 (too sweet and fairytale-ish? ? lol)
    silage 6.5/10
    longevity 6.5 out of ten

The vanilla and cacao really shine through on my skin with a bit of spice and floral to make things interesting. I honestly get more spice and floral with the initial application, but then that quickly fades away to mostly just the vanilla and the cacao. It’s such a lovely scent that is enjoyable and unobtrusive.

Just picked up a bottle of this today as I tested it at the store and it was so comforting on this very cold day. I can smell the cacao the most. It smelled very sweet on my skin. I then added grapefruit cologne to freshen it up a bit and it was a great combination (also nice mixed with Wild Fig and Cassis – another favourite). This fragrance is so unusual and very different to anything I own. So glad to have it in my collection. I will experiment by layering with other Jo Malone colognes to see what I discover! Blue Agave and Cacao is also great paired with Pomegranate Noir or I have even worn it with Nutmeg and Ginger for a spicy treat and it lasts longer when combined.
Update: the body products will soon be discontinued, heard from a reliable source so I’d get The body cream soon if you love it as it may become harder to find in the long run however, the cologne will still be around for some time…..I hope!

  40. :

The beginning of Blue Agava & Cacao was so unpleasant I thought maybe my sample has gone off. It was a non-descript alcoholic scent that does not have anything to do with the notes listed.
However, the drydown turned out to be pretty nice, sweet vanilla and musk with a hint of chocolate.
Quite frankly, this is nice, but far from outstanding and pretty boring. Maybe I tested quite a few similar fragrances, overdosed on sweetness and BA&C just does not stand out.

I was shopping at Nordstrom and passed the Jo Malone fragrances. I stopped to speak with the saleswoman. I smelled one of the fragrances. I forget which one it was, but it didn’t appeal to me at all. She looked at me intensely and went immediately for Blue Agava & Cacao and insisted I try it, because she felt it would suit me. She was right. I normally wouldn’t have paid this much for a fragrance, not unless it was really special and on my list of must haves. I just have too many (from drugstore to niche).
I got the most wonderful dry sweetness from this. Definitely get the cacao. I wasn’t struck by the citrus at the top, but now that I read the notes, it makes sense. The cacao is tempered and evened out somehow by the floral/citrus layers, which sort of hold this fragrance down and keep it from floating off into gourmand world. I really can’t compare this to any other fragrance. It doesn’t have great staying power on me, but no surprise there. It was still instant love at first spritz.
I don’t ever layer this or mix this with other JM fragrances. I just love this too much as it is.
I wonder why this is so high priced on Amazon today? Is it already discontinued?

I have recently become obsessed with spicy vanilla fragrances. After smelling this a couple of times at the jo Malone counter, I finally decided to purchase it. The thing with Jo Malone fragrances is that they are not meant to be loud. They are meant to be skin Scents. And a lot people, like me, prefer that. It can be annoying of some one is wearing a perfume that you dislike, with a monstrous spillage. So for me, the longevity of jo Malone is good, about six hours, and it continues to be a skim scent from then on.
Now the scent itself, when I spray it, it is a beautiful Cacao and cardamom. After about an hour, some citrus emerges along with vanilla. It seems that this one has a little bit of incense even though it doesn’t list it in the notes. To me, there is a resemblance between the dry downs of blue agava and Cacao and prada infusion d’iris. Overall, a beautiful scent for those who love spicy vanilla Scents.

  43. :

    4 out of 5

A delightful surprise and interesting perfume that I had to purchase immediately.
Warm cacao that captures you by surprise at first sniff with an embrace and immediately starts a friendly airy chat of citrus and freshness. This becomes teasing almost sensual with cinnamon and cardamon and yet very feminine from its floral touches. Cacao still strong in the end and walks out with vanilla.Addicting and I need more!
The only problem I have is that does not last long in terms of strength&longevity, it is a cologne, so one could go through a bottle very quickly. For the strength, size, and pricing, it’s just not fair.
Overall: Cacao, fresh&citrusy, vetiver, cinnamon, cardamom, and floral-sweet. Somehow it works! I believe the reason is in the order the notes appear. Cacao is the star the whole way through this. It shines it’s way to being such a superb note that I wouldn’t normally consider. Amazing job done!

  44. :

    4 out of 5

Blue Agava & Cacao by Jo Malone is another agreeable, natural-smelling cologne. Strong opening of cacao and vanilla, which dominate the fragrance through its lifespan, with some spicy elements that help balance out the abovementioned sweeter elements, keeping it from being too cloyingly sweet. After reading about the floral notes, I can detect some slightly, but they’re certainly not the main story.
As this is the third Jo Malone fragrance I’ve sampled/worn (after Wood Sage & Sea Salt, a cologne, and Velvet Rose & Oud, a “cologne intense”), my biggest criticism is not the fragrance itself but the intensity, as it seems to project only a foot, and longevity, which is limited to fewer than six hours after becoming a skin scent post-shower, and limits my interest in purchasing any at its price points.
Still, an enjoyable component of the line which strikes me as very natural. It simply could stand to be a bit denser.

I was intrigued by this but on me it is mainly a cacao scent. It doesn’t smell like just chocolate – there’s something more complex there – but the dark sweetness is the main thing I noticed.
I tried this on my inside forearm, with Oscar by Oscar de la Renta on my pulse points, and I loved the overall effect. It made me think this is a perfume for layering rather than wearing on its own: to add depth and warmth and sweetness to something else quite simple, fresh and green. Only trouble is, I wouldn’t pay boutique prices to have a supporting player in my fragrance wardrobe.

  46. :

    5 out of 5

Tested it yesterday since Jo Malone fragrances arrived to a store in my city recently. Just for those who don’t know, agave has no flowers, it is a kind of maguey (I’m from the region in México where tequila is made) The agave note here really smells like agave.
So, this fragrance starts with a slightly citrusy/agave note, which is very nice…and odd (in a good way). Then instantly cacao takes place and they mix really well into a middle warm scent, if I may say it that way. It is kind of warm but still fresh, I can see someone wearing it during the spring here in México, and maybe summer if you don’t really give a damn.
The only problem that I find (personally), as with other JM fragrances, is longevity. Silage is ok, it sits close to the skin, but the main issue here is longevity. After 3 hours I couldn’t smell anything.
I almost never rate, but I’ll give it 4 out of 5 just because of the scent itself 🙂

  47. :

    4 out of 5

On me, I smelled a little lime and citrus at first. Then the fragrance evolved into warm, rich chocolate, delicious vanilla, and spicy cinnamon.
I found the silage moderate and the longevity about 10 hours.
I can’t decide whether I like this or Serge Lutens Five O’Clock au Gigembre better.

  48. :

    5 out of 5

I wanted to like this fragrance so badly. I have been waiting for months to try it because the notes sounded so interesting. I finally broke down and ordered a sample from The Perfumed Court. At first, I get a strong whiff of lime – not at all a bad thing. The cacao is sort of alongside it, but then starts to amplify and become more spicy (the cardamom, I assume?). But something is…odd. At this point, all I can think is, “This smells like wax. I smell a candle.” I thought I was crazy. But then I saw someone else mentioned it smelling like a BBW candle, and that seems pretty on the money to me. It’s not really intolerable, but I don’t think I would ever purchase it. Maybe I will give it another try and see if I’m having an off skin day.

I was completely blown away by this today. The woman who runs the perfume department at Nordstrom was way more patient with me than I deserved–I couldn’t decide what to test on my skin, and nothing she suggested was really doing it for me. Then she left for a moment, came back with this on a card, and I was hooked right away.
It smelled a little gingerbread-y on paper, and then on my skin the cocoa came through immediately and beautifully. Over the next eight hours or so it switched between velvety cocoa and sweet, boozy flowers. I didn’t pick out the spices as individual notes, but the blend is gorgeous–it’s obvious when you smell it that it’s not only chocolate, and the richness is what kept me sniffing.
This doesn’t settle into a base so much as calm down into a skin scent over time, and after ten hours it’s still there and true to what it was when I first sprayed it. I’m very impressed and would absolutely buy a bottle.

One of the most beautiful scents by Jo Malone.
This is utterly delicious so well crafted it is a blend of green floral and sweet notes from cacao and vanilla.
    truly gorgeous.
I managed to find tha body cream to go with it which smells amazing and helps improve longevity of the scent which is a bit low otherwise 5 star.

an absolute delightful scent. when friend asked me how does it smell? i said it smells like a cold light chocolate in a cacao garden. a sweet scent blend with a touch of green notes. leave it for couple minutes (on my skin) and the cacao gets bolder and bolder yes dear sweet chocolate. unusual but still stays elegant somehow..

First off, I am a man’s man. So, why am I writing a review for JM Blue Agave and Cacao? Yes, it is a fairly sweet almost gourmand fragrance that bends toward the female side of the spectrum. However, the chocolate note in this cologne is sublime! There are lots of other good chocolate fragrances, cough Thierry cough Muggler cough. The reason this one wins the battle for my hard earned dollar is really the elegant simplicity of this juice. When fall comes I can’t wait to bring out this one. The cactus (agave) gives it a slight think tequila note.
PRO TIP: Try layering this with Pomegranate Noir for what is easily my very most complimented scent! Yes, this out-generates Creed Aventus in compliments when combined. I don’t even bother to wear it without the Pomegranate anymore as it is just so much better with it.
So, buy this and pomegranate and thank me when the compliments start coming your way.
My Score Without Pomegranate Noir: 7.5
    My Score with PN: 9.5

I couldn’t wait to get this as soon as I read about it. Who wouldn’t? Doesn’t it sound so intriguing and exotic?
    “Blue Agave & Cacao!”
What a huge letdown. A very expensive letdown. All I could smell were overwhelmingly strong notes of cactus and geranium.
I realize Jo Malone does not list cactus as a note in the Blue Agava, but I sure smell heavy notes of it!
Blue Agava was a strange, plant-like smell that I couldn’t even begin to ‘understand.’ It was not exotic, not fresh, just very unpleasant. I would say it’s ick factor is equal to the ‘ick’ price tag.

    Interesting.
I really don’t smell much of what’s listed, just a simple, gentle sweetness from a very subtle chocolate note. But it’s delightfully smooth and inviting, the kind of smell that draws you in to a hug and keeps you there.

Very nice. To me a cross between Dior Dolce Vita and Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Mandorlo Scicilia

Right now my favourite Jo Malone , agave & cacao is. A sweet vanilla , cacao flavored oriental floral the agave sweetens the cacao note quite nicely and makes the vanilla cacao gourmand note remain on the floral light side rather than a thick cloying oriental. This is why this one is nice for all year around and at all times of the day. The Cardamon and cinnamon make this really quite yummy. Its a warm sweet vanilla. But not too sweet.
I have just ordered the body cream for it as well. It’s amazing!!! Compforatbe all day. Many compliments from my family. My son says it reminds him a little of hot chocolate. Especially when first sprayed. ( the cacao is natural and strong ) then it morphes into a pleasant vanilla that’s just beautiful and easy to wear.

Oh my goodness….. This one is absolutely delicious. Beautiful almost raw cocoa and definitely undertones of blue agave (my face wash got blue agave in it and i can smell it in this one too). It is sweet and spicy, raw and delicate, sexy but decent…. I adore it. I love the body cream more than the spray, as it lasts good 10-12 hours on me. This is definitely me in a bottle, and my boyfriend loves it on me.

This is a beautiful fragrance that sparkles and shines on my skin. It is very blue and rainy smelling– but sweet. The cacao infuses it with an earthy element which makes it great for every day. The entire concoction reminds me of a hot cocoa near the sea! ( spiked with some booze?? )
I do wish the sillage and longevity were greater but that will not stop me from purchasing a second bottle of this!
Would love to layer this over something else— possibly with Jo Malone Bluebell.

I wholeheartedly agree with miss Butterbean on this one. The most prominent note is cacao, strengthened by the vanilla. There’s also a powdery flower (I guess that’s the lily) that’s especially noticea
