I bought this perfume when I was still an undergraduate. It gets me back to one of these days you really miss. It was one of the prettiest, most distinctive smells I can remember, and certainly, one of the prettiest periods of my life. Quite unique, as it was, everyone kept on asking what I was wearing. When I told them it was basil, they were looking at me in a funny way. A couple of them, teased me I smelled like a tomato sauce. Yet, they all found it beautiful, and, as said, really unique. I applied 6 heavy sprays
0 -30 mins- 1 foot projection. This frag takes a couple of minutes to start projecting, but once it does you get a very mild lemony-musky aroma which belies the perfume pyramid listed here. There is a definitive summery, watery vibe and IMHO this is much more feminine than masculine. It has personality and is something different from most of the frags from this house
30 mins – 3 hours -1 foot projection. More musky now and more intense
3 hours – 4.5 hours – 6 inch projection. Linear
4.5 – 6 hours – 2 inch projection. Linear
6 – 8 hours. Close to skin. The drydown goes floral on the skin and even more feminine now. The latter stages of the drydown see the frag get very shampoo like as it breaks down on my skin
This frag has a personality and offers a different slant on freshness

This is very light and fresh. Perfect for summer and for those days you want to smell clean and feel fresh. Don’t expect strong lasting power, it is “colonia” after all.
