Description

Laura Biagiotti presents a new fragrant pair from the collection dedicated to the city of Rome, called Blu di Roma. With Blu di Roma a romantic summer in Rome is being portrayed.

Blu di Roma Donna is a fresh floral – fruity fragrance. It opens Pomarose molecule, which is a Givaudan patent and smells like a mixture of apples and roses. The heart of the perfume is made of elegant jasmine, placed on the sensual base of patchouli.

It is available as 25, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.
Blu di Roma Donna was launched in 2014.

The samples lasts ages, because the staying power and sillage are really remarkable.
I was actually surprised to read that many people found the lasting power terrible, on me it was still detectable even after a whole day at University; I don´t know, maybe there is some skin chemistry involved.
There is something that feels extremely reliable on this scent. It´s very classic and ladylike, almost old-fashioned, but still fresh and clean.
The notes blend very well together; without knowing the pyramid, I had hard time telling them apart.
The rose-jasmine-patchouli combination is what probably gives that classic, old-school feeling to this fragrance.
On me the apple feels clean and watery, utterly pleasant, never tart or sour. It gives the fragrance a younger, modern vibe without becoming too generic fruity.
I like patchouli, it´s a note with a lot of potential.Used in the right way, it feels soothing and meditative. But it can also get awfully strong very quickly. I like how it has been handled in this composition.

i smelled this scent during the last summer on a friend. i said to her “your fragrance is so pleasant!” it’s fresh, classy, inoffensive. im a man and i liked very much. soft/moderate projection, good for spring/summer days. for 25 and older. very underrated, highly recommended.
    my vote: 7,5/10

Sweet, fresh, uplifting and innocent – like baby shampoo =)
Very nice for spring and summer. A positive surprise and a safe gift for everyone.

smells of cheap soap fragrance. doesn’t last very long either, and i’m talking about 30 min or so, and the sillage is very soft. i didn’t like it at all.

Very nice for spring and summer – floral, fresh and a little fruity. But it doesn’t really stand out a lot and yes, longevity at least on a rainy and rather cold day in May in Germany isn’t great.

If you can take your nose fast enough to your arm to take a sniff you get a nice and creamy sweetish fruity floral. Smells almost exactly like a cheapo shampoo I had recently. But it’s completely gone in like 30 minutes. Gone like in “there is absolutely nothing left of it”. Though rather inexpensive here in Germany I still consider it a waste of money. Except for milking some profit from a popular name this has no reason to exist.

Very fresh and nice, true summer scent, but they should be ashamed!!! This doesn’t deserve to be named EDT, nor cologne or even body mist, or whatever that is the lightest version of. To say that it has poor longevity, means that you gave it a compliment! I don’t want to kill everyone around me with it’s silage, i do not need neighbor from 1. floor to smell me while i’m still on my floor (that’s 19.) but, God damn it, i want to be able to smell my perfume longer than 15 minutes. Even if it is summer scent. Complete disappointment!

It has been on the shelves here for a couple of weeks already and i had the chance to test it several times both on paper and my skin.
Another dissapointment. I didn’t knew notes back then, but what i have smelled has nothing to do with great classic, named “Roma”. All i smell is a citrusy-sour faint scent. Now i know it was green apple – jasmine combo, but i can’t smell any patchouli or rose (i read they use some kind if patented molecule which is combination if green apple and rose and it sounds weird). Just look at the notes, not a huge variety of them in here and it shows up in a scent as well. Shoul not bear a name of Roma, other flankers have similarity at least to the original, but not this one. 🙁
I love the bottle however, very beautiful blue one. I just wish they would have put more effort into the fragrance itself. If i would ever buy this one – only becase of the bottle and heavily discounted. The weakest of the “Roma” range by far.
Please do not remove this comment, since others might find it useful. Not every review should be positive, so people like me wanted to make a blind buy might find it very informative. Thanks.
