Soapy amber with Dragons Blood resin. It’s really very nice, a light amber scent, not overpowering, and blended smoothly with the slightly orange-edged incense scent of Dragon’s blood. Well done, easy to wear.

LAB’S DESCRIPTION
“Slivers of warm, pulsating blood forever crystallized in golden amber resin”
This is the first Black Phoenix perfume I ever smelled and still remians in my top 5 ever. 🙂
If you haven’t smelled dragon’s blood resin before then the way to describe it would be…a hug floral smell that reminds me of a headshop/incence shop. I’ts kind of like lilac also. It’s so interesting and very overpowering. I’ve never smelled it before until I tried BPAL blends.
The Dragon’s Blood is the main body of the scent on me but the amber is there in the background softening and taming the beast that is dragon’s blood. It’s Beautiful and unusual and simple.
I adore this scent so much, and it was a great introduction to BPAL perfumes.
