GUSAR – :
It took me time to fully appreciate this fragrance. I really really like it, in part because it has got one of the notes I am most fond of, cyclamen, but I also find the whole composition very well achieved. Cyclamen is n fact the note I distinguish here most clearly, giving it a creamy warm touch. I can also smell grapefruit in the opening, and musk in the base, but not the other notes particularly. Overall, it is to me a slightly bitter, creamy balsamic scent. It is a pity it is not stronger, because I do love it.

Review for EDP (also available in EDT):
Fresh.
Very aquatic.
This freshness is actually not what you experience in the real life while being on the seashore, this is typical “marine-note” freshness in a fragrances. If i could compare it with something else it would be an air freshner for the bathroom with “ocean” notes. Yes, i know it is not a good comparision, but that is how it smells like actulally. A very expensive marine air-freshener with addition of notes. I honestly think the high price for this one is not justified at all.
Back to fragrance itself. Opens up with a burst of mix of sea notes and green notes. Smelling very synthetic. Then there is an addition of citruses which lasts not for long time and adds more pleasant accord to the whole composition. Then like a wave citrus faeds away and cyclamen comes on the foreground but again for a very short period of time. Lilly-of-the-valley is also here but not the gentle one but very harsh and synthetic. Somehow i can smell also a woodsy acord, might be sandalwood. The drydown is better for my nose than the opening: lilly-of-the-valley which is now turned down with cyclamen and amber and a lighter marine note. Now it is not that harsh as it was in the opening.
Poor lasting power and sillage. Couple of hours only. In general don´t fool yourself by hoping it will be something extraordinary like i did and believe me – this perfume is worth it´s name. It is blue and very marine. And we all smelled that before.
BUT! What can be a disaster for one can be a bliss for another.
This is a very good fragrance for those who like really fresh scents, can be also used as a body spray if you have a bigger bottle. But once again i say that this one is too overpriced based on the prices on ebay. If i would go for a marine scent i would choose Escada “Ocean blue” which i also have in my collection. That one is more realistic on sea-notes.
