Description
Bleu Azur and Bleu Intense are the second pair of fragrances by the British designer Nicole Farhi, introduced in 2007.
“In these new fragrances I have
Bleu Azur & Bleu Intense
drawn upon my favourite
Mediterranean experiences to create
something truly memorable – the
cool, airy and fresh scents perfectly
capture the essence of carefree
days.”
Bleu Azur is a fresh floral fragrance with warm musky base notes. Bergamot, lemon and grapefruit in the top notes are enhanced
by coriander and cassis, freshened
with aquatic resonances.
Floral heart notes of exotic flowers
including Turkish rose and Egyptian
jasmine are wrapped in the base
of sensuous musk, amber
and sandalwood.
Originally hand sculpted by Nicole
Farhi, the bottle displays the fragrance in
natural shades of aquatic blue. The fragrance is available in EDP 50ml with Body milk 100ml.

Didn’t smell of anything much on me, to be honest. I was very disappointed, and this is one of only two fragrances I have ever binned!

Doesn’t last on me. what’s the point?
Edit Nov 5 2011 – I’ll put it on my bathroom counter and use it like a body spray as it’s getting hotter here. Although Impulse Illusions lasts longer.
No it’s too bad to use. Air freshener only.

This reminds of Burberry Touch and Azzura from way back when. And the notes are rather similar.
I don’t get a lot of citrus here but the cassis note stands out as sweet and green. There’s also a hint of melon or cucumber. Then it turns very floral with nondescript rose and jasmin that turn a little powdery. It has a nice soft musky base and lasts forever with reasonable sillage.
It’s not unique or amazing and I’m not 100% convinced I like it but the bottle is simply beautiful so it will be staying in my collection at least a little longer.

Surprisng amount of notes. I get cool watery with a touch of citrus . This will be lovely on hot days.
